I typically like Crumbl on occasion every few months. I think they're hit or miss on flavors. Heart cut out with filling is wonderful and I wish I would have selected four of them. The Valentine's special sugar cookie with sprinkles was not good, hardly palatable and tasted like they missed the "sugar" part of sugar cookie. Crumbl first timer here. My experience today was flawless. I did not have to wait in line. I was the only customer there. It caught me off guard when everyone, (at least 10 young, bright eyed employees), enthusiastically welcomed me in at the same time. Wow. We love customer service! Crumbl's space is clean, bright and modern. Everything is transparent. From being able to see cookies being made right in front of you, to the cashier showing you exactly how much you'll be charged. When I finished chatting with the cashier, another employee had my cookies ready and opened the box to present them to me. He asked if they were to my liking and asked if I'd visit them again next week! I had to refrain from yelling hell when I said "yeah." Crumbl cookies are huge and shareable. I believe they sell a tool that easily cuts cookies into 4. Crumbl's cookies are warm and gooey like I prefer. For my spouse, outside of the walnut fudge brownie and chocolate chip cookies, most of the flavors were too gooey. Everyone has their own preferences. Cookies are good obviously, there's no denying that. When I went in there the other day there was one employee that I just need to comment about... There's a girl with red hair who made it very obvious that she has no respect for her peers. I could see her giving the other workers nasty looks and making rude comments towards them while I was waiting for my box. I've seen her in there before and she seems bossy, so she could be the manager, not sure though. But she definitely wasn't treating the other employees respectfully and made the environment very awkward. We had a catering order of 70 cookies paid in advance (called to verify twice) even got a text saying they were ready. At pick up,no cookies and all the young teenagers working there had no idea where the order was. They had to then MAKE them and it took an extra 1.25 hours which we didn't have time for. as a longtime fan of crumbl cookies since their arrival in anchorage in 2022, it pains me to say that the quality has significantly declined. recently, i purchased a box of 12 cookies, excited to try their new flavors, but the experience left much to be desired.. the biggest disappointment was the "galaxy brownie" flavor, which looked nothing like the advertised product on their website. instead of the galactic appearance, it (almost) resembled a plain double chocolate chip cookie. what's more concerning is the apparent lack of care from their employees. not only did the cookies differ in appearance from the website, but the flavors were inconsistent too. both cookies of each flavor tasted different, which is unacceptable considering the premium price. one of the "strawberry cupcake" cookies was overly sweet and lacked aesthetic appeal, while its counterpart barely tasted like strawberry and looked messy.. to add to the disappointment, i shared this box with my friends, only to find that none of us were exactly thrilled to eat it. we were all disappointed. it's disheartening to see such a decline in quality from a brand i once held in high regard. i hope crumbl can address these issues and return to the standard of excellence they were known for in the past. final thoughts: not recommended, especially today given the disappointing experience i had with crumbl cookies recently, i cannot, in good conscience, recommend them at this time. the decline in quality, inconsistency in flavors, and lack of attention to detail from their employees have left a sour taste in my mouth. perhaps with improvements and a return to their previous standards of excellence, i may reconsider my stance in the future. however, for now, crumbl falls short of expectations.... read more

I walked into this place to see what all the fuss was about, saw $4 a cookie and you better believe I turned around and walked back out no thanks, I can bake cookies at home for way cheaper and just as delicious... fast forward about a month and my husband was given one at work and said he thought he kids and I would like them. We pre-ordered/prepaid for 50 cookies for our daughter's graduation event. Upon arrival, the poor teenage employees were searching frantically for cookies that were not in existence. The employee informed me that the cookies were nowhere to be found and she could not get a hold of a shift lead or manager to figure out what to do. The cookies were ordered online a week in advance and paid for by CC and weren't on the weekly flavor menu. After several minutes I asked what our options were as it was $150 order. After reaching out to my daughter I asked if we could just sub out for a flavor that was currently available and the employee (Sofia) agreed to make them for us on the spot. After she made our cookies, she informed me that the manager had made contact with her and that they were out of the flavor we had ordered and paid for and to just ask us to change our order. I couldn't help but wonder what did they think would happen when I showed up to pick up cookies at a specific time and they weren't there or ready. Not to mention the position it put the two teenage girls who were left to continuously apologize as a result of crappy leadership in their management chain. If this was a singular incident you could chalk it up to nobody's perfect but it has happened a few times just to my family and at both Anchorage locations. It won't happen to our family again but I caution others who order, especially preorder, buyer beware as it seems the management team at both locations are terrible. Hats off to Sofia though as she worked her butt off to get the cookies done and was a true professional through all this.
