Went in to have an oil change and possibly belts changed out. I could do the work personally but do…read morenot have the place to work on it. To change the belts you have to remove front passenger tire , which also happened to have a wheel stud missing entirely. I thought it was broken off. I already bought the belt and wheel stud and nut. So I decided to have them do it to get it all done. After all the belt started intermittently squeeling. They found the belt tension bolt broke it was rusted and definitely broke. Offered to temp fix or get the right part , I went ahead and had it done right. Also had all the wipers changed out. Also the two front tires were swapped and they fixed that for me as well. All issues beyond oil change and belt we brought to my attention and shown Customer service was amazing, early on I went to Costco to burn time and so the pack of freshly cooked seasoned drumsticks then checked out and decided a large pepperoni would go nice as well. The guy came out and showed me some of my car fluids on a piece of plastic but I didn't want anything else changed. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to further convince me to get more things done. I always get synthetic oil in my car, average cost is $75. I would not return to this place because of the cost. Also, the oil change prices are not listed on their board. $98 is too much. Was a quick oil change though, mediocre service so I still give 2 stars even though I feel like I got ripped off paying $98 for an oil change.

Other places had us calling them every day for an opening or waiting until the end of November. L&M got us in in three days. We arrived exactly at 3:00 on Tuesday as the snow is just starting. Whew! Maybe it should have been a warning sign when the tech walked back into the office (35 min into our appointment) and asked how he's supposed to work on a BMW when Honda keys are attached to the work order? That took you a half hour??? The super sweet Christine (who makes a killer cheesy potato soup) quickly found our work order and our 3:00pm job now has a 3:45 start. The car was finished in about an hour, as quoted. Plus, at twenty dollars per tire, it would appear a successful visit, thank you to my friend! Wait! Successful up until we were on the road again, approaching Tudor on "C" street. Wobble, wobble and off comes the left rear tire and lodges sideways under the axle. The freakin' tire came clean off! It's Tuesday, 5:00pm rush on our first seriously ice covered road this season. Now we're staring at the Bear Paw bear on the corner with only three functioning wheels on the ground. But thankfully, no one was hurt. Naturally, we called L&M who called a wrecker and carried us back to the shop. At L&M's expense. Having no loaner vehicles, they then sent us home in a cab. Again, on their dime. The following morning our car was first on the rack and all repairs were made. Once more, no charge. In fact, our initial $80 for tire service was refunded and L&M paid for our return cab ride. I spoke to Michael, the owner, and he confirms that they not only double checked/repaired the problem wheel, but they also rechecked the bonehead's (my term, not his) work on the other three. Tragic in some eyes, irresponsible in the eyes of others, inconvenient in mine. Mistakes are made in this world. I get that. This is one area they are not excusable. Burn my steak and you can always make another and we're all good. A serious accident happens due to neglect on my car, that could've have been a catastrophe. One maybe you don't recover from. To sum up. A huge unacceptable mistake was made. But this group bent over backwards to accommodate. They sent the cavalry to rescue us, secured our safe transport home and back then double checked all the work done to the vehicle. They waived all charges and paid all expenses. Equally as important to me is each of them offered a sincere apology even though only one person botched the job. I normally give local businesses a few chances before totally cutting ties. In my book this is a stand up organization that will get my future business and deserves four stars. 10/22

We paid these Yahoos to put the winter tires and rims on my daughter's car. We explained that the…read morewinter rims had their own specific lugs and were in a container on the passenger's seat. We received a call that the process was complete and picked up her car and drove home. On her way to work the freaking tire fell off! Fortunately she was off the highway and slow rolling through a parking lot when this happened. If this had happened at 65 mph or higher this could very well have been an extremely tragic event. What they had done was put the winter tires on her car with the lugs from the summer rims. They are NOT compatible nor interchangeable. They did not follow the instructions given them. Let me be perfectly clear about this.... Their negligence and unprofessionalism put my daughter's life in jeopardy! I was out of state and told my daughter to call them and explain her problem. They sent a tow truck, took it back to the shop, replaced the lugs with different lugs that were incorrect, and sent her on her way after telling her that this was her fault and to never set foot on their property again. She was literally in tears leaving. This is when I called the owner and asked if he had replaced the lugs with the proper ones provided and he said no. He'd only worked on the wheel that fell off. I told him that he should inspect the car more thoroughly to ensure that it was safe, roadworthy, and check for any other damage to the drivetrain that may have been incurred due to his mistake. The owner actually went off on me, yelling at the top of his voice, and calling me every name in the book! He was SCREAMING... calling me a c*cks@cker, m@therf&cker, every insulting name he could think of. Yelling that it was my daughter's mistake and the she should have known the difference in the lug nuts when she picked her car up! And yelling that m@th$r f@ck$rs like me were the reason he was gonna be put out of business! I told him that his attitude combined with his lack of professionalism would do that quite nicely on their own. I then told my daughter to take her vehicle down the road to Alyeska Tire, explain her predicament, and have them look at the vehicle to ensure it was safe. They did this out of the goodness of their hearts for absolutely no charge and also informed my daughter that they have received numerous jobs that were done incorrectly at MT Auto. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP!!! He will freaking fail you, possibly endangering your life, and then attempt to blame it all on you. Incompetent, insecure, untrustworthy, Immature, anger issues, and a complete inability to take responsibility or accountability for his mistakes... No matter how small the job... All we wanted was our freaking tires changed!!! Never again! And frankly, I cannot wait to see those guys out of business with the windows boarded up and the entire property condemned, razed, and gone forever!!!

So its ok. Elliot and the rest of the guys have always been curteous and honest regarding charges. I notice there are some negative reviews here in life people cannot always be perfect at the end of the day, and a lot depends on your williness to be patient and to give the shop the time to do the work - if you leave it to the last minute to get work done you run the risk of there not being enough time to do the job or creating a safety issue for them.
