Dr. Mahaffey is amazing! About a month ago I had mysterious pain that started in my foot and slowly got worse over time and spread to my legs. I couldn't walk for nearly 5 days. I had minor improvement with PT and my functional Dr suggested that I try Airrosti. I was pretty skeptical that this would do anything for me and was in such a bad place mentally that I thought nothing would work and that I'd permanently be in pain. After visit 1 I experienced a detox that made things worse before they became MUCH better. It was also so comforting to finally have a provider tell me what the issue is. This place does Gods work, I am not joking. I had excruciating lower back pain so bad that not even hydrocodone could alleviate the pain. I went to Cary Finale and in one consultation I was already feeling near 100%, I wanted to cry. I had been to the West Lake location when I had neck pain, could barely turn my neck and they cured me in no time. I was going to the chiropractor every week for months and it wasn't as effective as Arrosti, the pain was still there. I've been to this location a few times and Dr.Mahaffey is great. She will ask you questions at the beginning of your one hour visit to determine the problem areas. After she will do her thing. Make no mistake, you are not getting a massage. She will work on the problem area and It is excruciatingly painful so you'll definitely need an Aleve afterwards. While it took a while, they were very good at teaching me what exercises and rehab to do at home to really help speed along progress. I was hesitant to try Airrosti for knee pain, but was beyond impressed with the care and service provided. Dr. Mahaffey and her staff were professional and run a smooth, caring practice. You can always expect 30 minutes with the doctor, and then an additional 30 minutes with the physical therapist, who will show you healing exercises to practice at home. I never felt rushed. I've used the Airrosti soft tissue treatment before, years ago, and got a quick improvement in my plantar fasciitis. This time, I saw Dr. Kurt Edeker for an ankle problem that involves tendon issues. Dr Edeker is personable, very observant, careful, and thoughtful. He was also good at motivating me, including to do the exercises that were assigned. Unfortunately, this approach didn't produce major improvement for me this time, although I noticed some increased mobility immediately after treatments. After three appointments, we agreed it's time for me to see a medical doctor for the foot instead. I appreciated Dr Edeker's not continuing when we didn't get quick improvement. He had several names of people and especially recommended a skilled foot/ankle surgeon who, he says, WILL try non-surgical approaches first. I checked out that doctor and he is a top expert and recommended by patients also, so I've made an appointment. Reading the airrosti reviews, I didn't think that it could be possible that this place could relieve me on my insane back pain so quickly. But strung up on sleepless nights and not being able to walk, I came into airrosti to see Dr. Finale. My first appointment after she went to work on my back...I stood up....and no pain. It was like I could feel my blood pumping through my back in a good way. I had mobility and could walk. Even though the people were very friendly, I found the Airrosti methods way too harsh for me. I went in with chronic hip bursitis. The deep massage I received was so painful I almost cried. The at home exercises I was assigned to do did nothing but exacerbate the pain further. The instructions went so far as to say when I felt pain in a particular area, work those areas even harder. I terminated the treatment after one session. I know if I had remained with the treatment plan perhaps it would have solved my hip issues, but when the doctor prescribed treatment is 10 times more painful than the bursitis symptoms I was experiencing, I knew this wasn't for me. read more

Dr. Mahaffey and Ashley are the BEST. I came in for help with my pesky SI joint, which had flared up, leaving me feeling like I was walking on a crooked chassis at all times. The chiropractor helped, but my friend told me about this place and I decided to give it a shot. My first visit didn't go well because of me. I didn't know the deep tissue massage would be so incredibly painful on my low back and hips. Turns out those areas were super swollen. It was so painful I actually removed Dr. Mahaffey's hand; I couldn't take it any longer. Airrosti is the BOMB! I went to this clinic after a car wreck. Dr. Mahaffey fixed my whiplash in 4 visits over a 2 week period, and fixed my jammed thumb in 2 visits over a 1 week period. I hurt my hip after doing a sprint workout 3 months postpartum. I stopped running for a week but my pain only got more severe with each passing day despite my rest.
