Kind, caring, professional and creative. I felt well cared for and that all my concerns were addressed. I liked that surgery wasn't the first option and lots of other options erred presented.

Dr. Broyles immediately diagnosed me & started an intense hourly eye drop regimen. Unfortunately, most people don't get so lucky. It was a tough road, but I can honestly thank her for saving my eye. I'm in a FB group for AK & the majority of those who share, experience physicians that wait much too long to commit to the diagnosis & end up losing their eyesight. Her staff is also wonderful. Very kind & knowledgeable. Lexi & Madison are fantastic & remember me every time I have to come in. I really can't thank these people enough.

This year he has some scaring from the cataract surgery a common side effect. Again the treatment of a laser has gone well. I have no complaints on Dr. Cottle and her skills as an eye surgeon. Five stars! Now the cons. Her appointment times are terrible. It doesn't matter why you are there. You will be there for 1.5 hours or longer. Second, issue is billing. Five years ago we had some major issues with our billing. My father is a Medicare with a supplement patient, a common standard for the elderly. It seemed to highly confused the office staff. I am not sure about this round of work. We haven't gotten bills yet. Also do note Dr. Cottle has move her office from Bee Caves Road to HWY 620. The new office is in the new medical buildings off 71/620.

I was referred to him by a peer of his that had nothing but great things to say about him, and although I was nervous to switch over I am glad I did! The process (which started before Dr. Gavino) has been a long one, but I have been very pleased ever since I first met Dr. Gavino! He is very patient, knowledgeable, caring, and LISTENS to my concerns, worries, and new developments. He restates what I say, and reviews our appointment before I leave, while also keeping a good eye on the medications I take, how much, and how often to make sure I am not over doing it! A simple online search will show his qualifications, experience in the field, and a lot of patients who back him 100%! If you are in network with your insurance, I definitely recommend seeing him if you have concerns about hairloss.

If you are losing hair unexpectedly (especially my female friends) you MUST go to Dr. Carlo Gavino…read moreeither at the Bee Cave or the Whitestone location. Not only is he a dermatologist but he's also a dermatopathologist - long word for "he knows his s**t". Stress, hormones, illness, autoimmune issues, inflammation, heredity can play a part in your hair loss...and he will figure it out. He will take a small biopsy from your scalp and determine why you are losing hair - and then come up with the best course of action for you. It'll take about 2 weeks to get the results. My friend told me about him because she was losing her hair...her friend told her about him because she was also losing her hair...whose sister was losing her hair...etc etc. He has an incredible personality which makes you feel so comfy from the first appointment. He accepts most insurance policies where you pay your normal co-pay, however, please note that the biopsy part of the exam will usually go towards your deductible...I paid appx $150 for the biopsy part of the exam (and it was the best $150 spent vs all of the lotions and potions for thinning hair, vitamins etc on the market). Do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Gavino. You will at least know WHY you're finding your hair EVERYWHERE.

The front office could use some extreme tightening up but as far as the medical staff is concerned... top notch
