I was depressed and had major trust issues. Kama Hele came in confident that they could help me. I've heard that before and I was skeptical but after some hard thinking, I decided to take a chance with Ka Hele Plumbing because they were willing to work on my contract so that I would feel safe and secure, not to mention a cost effective value I couldn't ignore . They didn't have to do that but I'm truly grateful that they did. Kapono came in with assistants, and Rick came in to make sure everything was good and perfect. They were quick, efficient and neat. Kapono's work is like a work of art with copper. The DPP inspector passed their work with flying colors. There are not enough words to say how grateful and in awe I am with this crew. I'm so glad I decided to trust them and now they have me as a customer for life. I recommend them to everyone now, including my Nextdoor neighbors. I've always kept faith and hoped that despite all the negative issues I've had trying to build my kupuna mom's Adu these past 3 years, I still believed God was going to bless me with the right people at the right time to get my project going again. Sure enough, with the right people in my corner, everything is now coming together as it's meant to be. Thank you God and thank you Kama Hele!!

The other guys weren't qualified to do that, so I called RMI and explained it was kinda urgent because the other project couldn't proceed until the lines were moved. This was in August, which is busy season for HVAC companies, but since all their technicians were busy, the owner Randy came out himself on a hot afternoon to move the lines and do some simple rewiring. This was all done on a short 4 hour notice, and they didn't charge me an arm and a leg - it was very reasonable. RMI really did me a solid on this one, and their regular maintenance service (every 12-18 months) has been excellent as well. I can highly recommend RMI both for their competence as well as their aloha. Two big thumbs up, and 5 stars. Mahalo, RMI!

My pool heat pump stopped…read moreproducing hot water and after some technical discussions with the manufacturer, it seemed like the issue might be a refrigerant leak. I reached out to David and he called back quickly and scheduled a visit for the next day. He arrived right on time and was very knowledgeable about how heat pump systems work. Even though his main focus is AC systems and not pool heaters, he approached the problem methodically. We checked for leaks but could not find any, so we tested the refrigerant pressure and confirmed the system was already properly charged. While restarting the heater, David noticed the compressor was clicking but not starting, which led him to suspect an electrical issue. After opening the electrical panel, we found a lizard had shorted across one of the capacitors. He tested both capacitors with a volt meter and confirmed they had failed. He immediately called a local AC supplier and ordered the replacement parts so I can get everything back up and running the next day. David is a really nice and friendly guy, and clearly knows his craft. I really appreciated the time he took to properly troubleshoot the issue instead of guessing. Highly recommend Kuleana AC Services!

Brison's Plumbing turned out to be an unreliable company, and I wouldn't recommend them based on my…read moreexperience. I scheduled a Friday morning appointment several days in advance for a kitchen faucet repair. The company requires a $95 assessment fee, which must be paid upfront before they even come out. I took time off work to be home for the appointment, only to get a call about fifteen minutes after the scheduled time saying they needed to cancel. No real explanation, just a last-minute cancellation after I had already rearranged my morning. I immediately requested a refund of the assessment fee, but it still took a full week before I finally got my money back. Between the cancellation, the lack of professionalism, and the delay in refunding my payment, this company showed me they can't be counted on. I'd suggest finding a plumber who values their customers' time.

She mentioned that I would need to pay a service call fee of $95.00 before 7am on that day Monday March 9that the latest.I followed her instructions when I went in I wasn't aware that my time slot was to be selected, my 9am was not there. I assumed that iris had blocked it for me. So I chose 11:30-12 midnight so I could at least process my $95.00 in time and get my appointment in as scheduled at 9am. So that morning she had called and said that they are not able to come at 11:30pm-12midnight so it was cancelled.I wasn't expecting them to come at that time dah, she knew that I requested 9:00am the week before. She never explained that I needed to pay immediately to make my 9am appointment. If that was the case I would have done so as I was in desperate urgency needing a plumber. I was very disappointed at what had happened. I requested for my refund of $95.00 fee , she said it will be refunded back. It had been 7 days now and I have not seen a credit back to my credit card. In this day and age no one should be checking and calling the business for a refund for a service that never happened and that was canceled. She promised I would be fully refunded. Still waiting..... This was a bad experience.
