    Saturday 11am class

I signed up for Airlabs January special and have really enjoyed the experience. The workout is spectacular, really intense and if done consistently with proper nutrition, you will definitely see & feel the results. The classes schedule is pretty accesible, with variety AM, midday, pm. All coaches are great, and have nice playlists!

I tried a free class at airlab through a partnership with Yelp and I loved the class so much that I immediately signed up for a membership! I don't live in the area so I signed up for the 8 classes per month package which works out really well for me! They offer three different kinds of group classes - HIIT, power and conditioning in an altitude simulated environment! I've taken classes with all coaches at this point and recommend them all, they really take the time to correct your form when required! I definitely recommend airlab and look forward to continue my fitness journey with the airlab community!

Airlab, a brand new workout facility offering high-intensity workouts at simulated altitudes as high as 12,000 feet with oxygen levels lowered to 13%, is an innovative concept that promises a unique fitness experience. As someone who has experienced Airlab firsthand, I can attest that it pushes the boundaries of traditional workouts and takes fitness to new heights - literally. The workout was undoubtedly challenging, and they cater to individuals seeking to take their fitness journey to the next level. Its effective in improving endurance, cardiovascular health, and overall fitness levels. It's an excellent option for those looking to see substantial progress in their fitness goals. The instructor, Gio at Airlab was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, guiding us through the whole workout with precision and motivation and reminding us to breathe and exhale and inhale all throughout the workout!

Airlab is a revolutionary new fitness center located in Midtown specializing in high altitude HIIT style training. I was lucky enough to visit Airlab via a complimentary class to try it out for myself and was impressed by how big the space is on the inside. The environment is clean and cold, with state of the art equipment. The staff is friendly and get you setup with a wall-thru in less than 15 minutes, so make sure to arrive early to your first class. Coach Gio lead the group and did a wonderful job of explaining the layout of the room, the stations and the workout sets. He was energetic and encouraging throughout the entire workout, constantly reminding us to breathe and keep one another motivated as we worked through each base camp. The workout itself is a bit intimidating. I don't suffer from any injuries or underlying conditions, but I have experienced altitude sickness before and my heart was pounding from the anxiety that I might get sick from this workout. Luckily, Coach Gio was an excellent guide and reminded me to breathe as much as I could, take breaks when I needed to and focus on my form and the modifications for each exercise to ensure I got the most of out my workout. At the end of the workout I had a bit of a headache and felt very fatigued but was informed by the very knowledgeable staff that it was entirely normal to feel this way. I personally live very far from the Airlab location, but if there was a location closer to home I would enroll and be there almost daily. The workout was great and the staff was amazing. Thank you for a great first time experience!

Air lab is such a great workout experience. Our coach that day was so nice and full of energy. He made us feel welcome right away and answered any questions we had. The concept is nothing I've experienced before while taking a workout class. The culture here is amazing. All the members are really encouraging and makes the environment open for people of all fitness levels. Our class was fast paced and involved lots of switching. The coach was always there to point us in the right direction and help us with our form. The class itself was quite challenging with most base camps having modifications available. I look forward to taking another Airlab class!

Came here as part of a yelp event and I really enjoyed it. I underestimated its difficulty but it also definitely motivated me to want to come back. I appreciated the coach's help. I had an injury (unrelated to the class) and he personalized some movements for me in a group class to make sure i was being safe but getting the benefits of the workout all the same. There were some perks given it was a yelp event such as a PlayaBowl stand (which is around the corner) and B-12 shots offered by Inspired Wellness Therapy but nonetheless, this Airlab location is right by so many places to eat, whether it's a quick healthy meal for the workout or a nice dining restaurant. The cool thing about Airlab Fitness is that it's not your average workout class, it follows a science. There are different classes for different goals and they even adjust oxygen levels, temperature levels and more to optimize the workout. I definitely recommend Airlab Fitness and once my body heals, I am definitely coming back.

What a workout! The staff was caring and professional. Prior to the class they check you in and you can get a locker to store your belongings. The HIIT class was intense and at a simulated 11,400 foot elevation it had my heart pounding. The coach was encouraging and the video screens at each station were helpful. Showers are available after the class

I have really enjoyed training at Airlab. They offer great workouts with coaches who are there to support and guide you. They have a different class everyday to focus on upper body, lower body, conditioning, and full body. Workouts are similar to what you would do during a HIIT class but the difference is that you are training with a reduced oxygen environment which makes you burn more calories and also improves endurance. In addition to the coach, there is a screen where you can see all the exercises and follow along as you go. The trainer will still spend some time at the beginning of the class to explain the moves. I have tried their upper body, conditioning and full body classes and all of them have been amazing. I've left motivated to come back for more. The studio is clean and neat and they have showers and lockers. Parking in Midtown can be chaotic but you can park for free at the studio attached garage.

Can you say, bring on the altitude training?!

Known to enhance endurance training and performance when included in regular fitness routines, altitude training has been one of my favorite ways to enhance my conditioning regimen. Having lived in Nevada for 5 years, I recall how powerful I became training at altitude; this is one reason I was interested to see how living in Florida would impact my training. Enter AirLAB. The environment inside of AirLAB includes top-notch front-desk staff who make you feel welcome, help you get signed in quickly, and store your belongings in their locker area. Upon the start of the class, the instructor Issa welcomed everyone in and got to know them by name. We were instructed on which machines and modalities would be included in the workout, as well as given easy instructions on how the rounds would work. The class was challenging and a welcome change to my routine! I did like the mix of strength and cardio for an on-point HIIT class using TRX, vertical rowers, kettlebells, plates, and dumbbells. The participants were of all levels and ranges, so we were a great mix of folks who worked within our levels of achievement. I think anyone would benefit from trying an AirLAB class when in the Miami area in Midtown!

Always a great workout! With the elevation its really challenging. You'll definitely feel what you worked for the next day. The instructor Joey is really motivating and helpful.

    Samantha B.

Last night I attended the 7:30 pm elevated class. Our instructor was Joey and he was great! The gym was super clean and everything was new. Since it was my first class, Joey explained how the elevation worked and how the class is set up. Typically I hate circuit classes (I get anxious with the switching around) but since he took his time explaining how each station worked, I felt at ease. It also helps that there are screens with the workout displayed so if you're ever confused, you can refer to the screens. Joey warned us that exercises that we may typically do outside or like a regular gym, we might get more tired here since the oxygen levels are different. Boy, he wasn't kidding. By the end of the warm up I was winded! It was a great class, I really enjoyed the workouts, his energy and his playlist. It was a little bit of rap and house music mixed together. I think the concept of this gym is super cool, it's so unique, I would recommend it to others!!!

    Jessica Z.

I tried the elevate HIIT class and my whole body was shaking. The altitude simulation was noticeable even during the warmup but it helped me focus on my breathing patterns. The workout area is very clean and set up intuitively, and I appreciate how they give first-timers a mini tour of the space and explanation of the overall workout. I also really like how varied and adaptable each workout is to your fitness level. The altitude simulation makes everyone's workout more intense, but I was able to use lighter weights and simplified exercises if I felt too tired. I also loved the energy of the instructor and participants. Overall, I recommend trying out Airlab if you want to get an efficient and unique workout experience.

    Cam E.

I had a great time working out at AIRLAB. The front desk staff is extremely friendly, and the instructors are knowledgeable and empowering as you struggle through the intensity of the workout. I really enjoyed the elevation aspect as well. It added another layer and level of intensity to the classic HIIT workout which is tough as it is. The facility was also extremely clean, and the equipment was of high quality which I appreciated. I would definitely take another class here. (Make sure to bring a TON of water!)

The workout itself was great, but the experience was disappointing. The instructor gave no welcome or guidance--just told us to get on the machines. Directions were often based on local references (e.g., "face Brickell"), and when we weren't facing the right way, they repeated, "Again, you're facing Brickell." Obviously, as visitors, we had no idea where that was. Despite this, we gave it another shot the next day with our full group ( as we booked it weeks before ). We left early but got stuck in Miami traffic due to a bridge delay, arriving three minutes before class. Even after calling ahead, we were turned away because new students must arrive five minutes early--no offer to reschedule, just a blunt refusal. If this is their protocol, then they probably should have enforced it the day before when we also arrived late. I'm grateful they didn't, but the inconsistency is frustrating when you expect one thing and are then told there are strict rules. While we did get a refund, the lack of hospitality stood out compared to everywhere else we visited in Miami. If they improved customer service and gave better guidance for beginners, I'd gladly return--the workout itself was solid, and the studio has a cute vibe. P.S. For newcomers and even locals, you'll need to enter the building, show your ID to the lovely lobby attendant downstairs, and he'll guide you to Tremble, which is on the fourth floor.

I've taken their bootcamp and glute camp classes which are really similar in the sense that they use a combination of equipment, cardio, bike, ropes and weights. Glute camp focused on lower body while bootcamp is more strength and conditioning. They get a five star review because they always have several trainers checking on you to ensure good form and assisting with the machines. My only recommendation is for them to explain and demonstrate the exercises at the beginning of the class. Exercises are written on the board and they quickly go over them at the beginning but I think it would help if they instructors actually show how to properly do them. Once you go a few times you get used to the machines and probably need less direction. Class goes quick and time in between exercises is short so make sure you bring a towel to wipe after yourself if necessary. They also have wipes if you need them.
