I've written a review about Anatomy before but I feel like it's time for a refresh. To start, this place is like my second home. From the attentiveness of the staff to the amazing classes, cleanliness of the gym and my favorite part the sanctuary, you can really expect to feel good after coming here. A few of my favorite classes are Coach V's booty blast -- literally the most amazing class ever, I go every Tuesday and am sore every time. Her energy and technique is so professional yet inspiring and fun at the same time. I also love love love yoga with Lihn, her voice, energy, practice is just extremely soothing and leaves you feeling zen. Other amazing classes are Marie with burn and pilates on the weekend (her playlist is my favorite) and honestly all the other instructors are amazing too! This spot just really gets wellness, fitness and most importantly motivates you to push yourself even on days that you don't want to do much. I've gotten there at 6 am extremely sleepy and seeing it packed with people starting their day just reminds me that working out is an opportunity we get to do and not something we "have" to do. I signed up to anatomy upon moving to edge water with little to no research. Huge mistake, the people that go to anatomy extremely friendly and honestly great crowd. But this is not a gym if you want to really train. Is extremely crowded with personal trainers which at times take more than two machines for their clients which makes it close to impossible at times to work out as is not like they let you jump in and use the machine in between sets. Not all trainers do this but some of them do and is extremely annoying. The gym itself is very small and you feel it at peek hours. The staff is a hit or miss some are friendly and other look at you side ways as if you came to work out at their house. Honestly not for me, the gyms in the area are limited which blows. I had higher hopes for this gym, for the location and price paid. Never been happier to have left a gym. read more

I was so excited to join the Midtown location, but let me first say Doral and Miami Beach locations are pristine and beautiful from what I have experienced while Midtown is like a garbage dump. The location is entirely too small so 3 BBLs in the locker room it is already impossible to move. The sauna and spa are constantly broken, out of towels, showers are dirty, people are loud and on their phones in the co-ed spa. And yet they have the nerve to charge more than Equinox. Midtown desperately needs a makeover or a new luxury gym on this side of town! read more

honestly, I love the steam room and the cold plunge but paying over $230 I was expecting a better treatment from the team. I love most of the team there is a new girl that just started working there. I felt like I was getting airport attitude for just pulling up my last name the team knows me and everything is OK but now I was dealing with some racist lady that every time I come in gives me this attitude. Very clean gym, with tons of equipment and commodities to use. It has a sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, and a steam room. The community is the best part of my Anatomy experience. Dom, Dani, Dawne, Sergio, Miguel... honestly everyone. I'm part of the 5-6am crowd so my experience may be different than others, but I've been able to stay really consistent because I genuinely love the people and the environment. Absolutely horrible customer service from Rafaella Freitas!! She is the most rude greedy lying person iv ever spoken to from a establishment. She has to be the owners wife because she seems like the money is gong straight into her pockets!! They make it IMPOSSIBLE to speak to ANYONE over the phone with billing and force you to send many emails to many different email addresses making it very confusing & impossible to get out of your contract. Then once they do get your email she lies and acts dumb to keep taking your money after you've asked to freeze the membership. This gym is a SCAM & this is their strategy to steal money from LOYAL CUSTOMERS and keep their monthly subscriptions HIGH, GREED IS NASTY - AVOID THIS PLACE !! read more

I have been a member at Anatomy ever since it opened over a year ago and I love this place! To be honest, I am more of a class person so I don't use the actual gym equipment often, but I have used the cardio machines and those are great. All the instructors I have come across are highly motivating and friendly. I love them all. The ones I see weekly are Analys, Alessandra, and Laura-Ann and they are all wonderful. I'm sure the others are great as well (need to try out more classes) The front desk staff is also very friendly and helpful. The gym and its facilities are always very clean, which is a huge deal to me because who wants a unclean gym?! The spa area is gorgeous, which I have yet to use ‍so need to do that as well. I have used their showers and everything was extremely clean. If you're looking for a gym in the Midtown area, I highly recommend Anatomy! read more

visited the gym on June 23rd, I placed my personal belongings including my phone inside my bag and I put them on the locker room, to my surprise by the end of my workout my phone was missing, I realized when I was on my way home since didn't use it the entire stay, as I went back to talk to staff, it happened that it was nowhere to be found, however the find my iPhone app indicated it was at the gym, after trying to look for it and no success went back home. I revisited the gym once again the following morning and no luck or much attention from anyone at turn, before deactivating my device, gave a call and no phone was found... mind you gps kept on showing that it was there. A third trip happened and speaking with front desk management and or general management was no help, the problem solving dynamic they took via e-mail was poor and inattentive, they didn't care about me and or my belongings, how would you feel if you were a visitor and your first impression of a facility who provides " quality " is theft/ damage and add carelessness from management. I hope this review helps future "possible clients" to take a decision, your stuff is not safe here. read more

Before I moved to Miami officially I tried this gym and was turned off by some of the attitudes and amount of mirror pictures out on the floor. Turns out it's just a Miami thing and it happens everywhere. We ended up joining the gym a few months ago (have now been in Miami for a year) and I have met so many wonderful people here. Many young professionals who get after it. The spa is wonderful and I have so many interesting conversations in the sauna (LOL). It is very clean and definitely a community. Wish we joined earlier. The ONLY thing I really wish it had was a self powered treadmill/ air runner (South Beach location has it) but I did message Marc Megna on IG and he responded regarding it which I appreciate. Culture is EVERYTHING! If you've been to Anatomy you can attest to this for sure. I've never been much of a gym person but I can truly say I enjoy coming here daily. All the coaches and members are super friendly and make an effort to get to know you. They have a huge variety of classes so there's definitely something that will peak your interest. In addition to the classes there's a full gym so you can't go wrong here. If you're curious, they offer a three day pass(I can totally share a pass with you). This will give you a chance to experience the gym and then amazing culture they maintain. You're bound to meet at least one new friend. read more

Updating my review. I originally gave 3 stars. I have since moved (about six months after signing up) and I am happy to provide them with proof and a copy of my new driver's license which they state is required to opt out of the yearly membership. That's fine, however nobody answers the billing phone number that they provide 888-304-3885 or their email. I'd ask to speak to the manager there but I honestly don't even know who that is after going there for months. This is not how you run a business. Your manager would be engaging with customers and getting their feedback. read more

I tried to join on July 1. Nobody was wearing a mask (this was before the mask mandate in gyms). I felt out of place and the spa was closed so I decided to cancel my membership on the spot. Anatomy has been trying to charge me every month for 3 months now. I've reached out to the manager Rob several times and he's affirmed that he's fixed this on 8/26, in writing, only to find out that I am still on autopay on 9/26. read more

Staff is extremely professional and educated. Most importantly to state: Mason Pope is my trainer and he's awesome. I have several medical issues ranging from scoliosis to fusion of discs. My strength unilaterally, is not even close to the same sides In addition, there are neurological issues as well. So, I woke up one morning, a few weeks ago and started to envision how to upgrade my fitness level. This includes core training, balance & unsteadiness, weakness in one leg, cardio and strengthening exercises with proper exercises, loose body fat. This measurement and evaluation is done with the In Body Machine. Points of interest that makes Anatomy my #1 choose to workout. For maintenance, They have 2 or 3 people constantly cleaning and sanitizing areas in the gym. They are diligently working at all times-making sure the facility is clean and safe. Gym is EXTREMELY small and staff has no motivation to work. I check in at the front desk and the girl seemed bothered to be doing her job. She asks "do you really need a tour of the gym?", great motivation to sell a membership to two clients. As we checked out the gym, it was very cliquey. The personal trainers just hangout with all their friends and crowd the already very limited workout equipment. They also give you bad looks when you use the workout area as if they own the place. There's a lot better places in Miami to workout with better service and more equipment and workout space. read more

Anatomy has changed the game in Midtown. This is not your average gym and you can ask any of the members when you stop in. The gym, classes, staff and overall atmosphere will push you to meet your goals and encourage you every step along the way. Not only is the facility new and modern, but the equipment is all top of the line and great for any type of work out. I personally have always preferred to work out on my own, however with the wide variety of classes offered, I've found myself a regular at quite a few. The Boxing and Rowing classes are really great and the instructors, Kaan and Derek, really push you to hit new PRs with each class. As if that's not enough, the Locker Rooms as spotless at all times and the Pools and Sauna are great for recovery. Do yourself a favor and check them out! read more

Have been a member for 4 years at the south beach location. This is gym is larger then the first gym. the recently expanded the main floor which is great. Gives us more workout area. There is free parking and the best part is the sanctuary - The hot and cold plunge are very relaxing. read more

Terrible customer service and total scam artists. I moved across the country 6 months after joining and provided proper documentation to end my membership. I spoke with Cherrieanne Tamayo in person at the club to cancel, however, her stuck-up attitude caused her to become belligerent in front of staff and members. After, several staff members apologized for the way she acted on behalf of the club. Later, I called every number and emailed every email they provide on their site and given to me by the front desk to ensure my membership was canceled - to no avail. The only response I was able to receive was from Cherrieanne herself weeks later. She assured me my membership was cancelled and I went about my life. 11 months later, I'm looking through my bank statements to make some spending cuts and I find that I'm still being charged. Again, I try every method of contact I can find and the only one to respond is Cherrieanne. After refusing to refund even 1 month of charges past my cancellation date, I asked to speak to her supervisor, David Geller. Once again, I was unable to reach David out of all of the phone numbers and emails provided to me. After threatening to involve the law, Cherrieanne was all of a sudden able to refund all 11 months. It has now been over a year since I left Miami and the check that JUST came in the mail is for only 6 months instead of the 11 months I was promised. If you want to pay a higher monthly fee than a gym membership is worth and spend years trying to get the money back a club steals from you, this is the place to go! I will update my review when I receive the last 5 months check. read more

This is one of the best gyms I've been. very organized and clean. Enough equipment and even on rush hours is not super packed. the have a ton of classes and the trainers are very nice and friendly. You can't miss the steam room, sauna and the hot and cold pool in the "sanctuary". perfect for after workout to relax. They also do a lot of events to workout where you can invite a non-member friend and take the class paying a fee, then maybe they can join and you get a free month ;) Ive been a member for 6 months already, and keep them coming. read more

Great place! I went to try it for the first time and it was an incredible experience! Vlad showed me and my friend around the gym and he gave us a run down on what they offer! Not sure how this gym is voted #1 in Miami....Now the classes are in the middle of the gym, which makes it extremely uncomfortable to work out. It has turned into another OverPRICED LA Fitness. The staff doesnt care about the members. Brought a few potential new members and No sales person to be found. Overall it lost its touch. Not worth the price. read more
