The best day at this gym was when my membership was over. I needed somewhere to go after moving here from the west coast. I was trying to find any gym to go to and would not recommend this place at all. Everyone here is only here to make content half the time. They offer tripods and various anchors so that you can make all the content you need. If you are looking for a gym where you can actually workout and not be in the crossfire of someone's post I would not recommend coming here. read more

I've been going to this gym for a year and a half, and the AC has broken four times. The temperature inside has reached up to 89°F which is unacceptable, especially in the middle of a Miami summer. The equipment is nice, but for the amount we're paying, the overall experience should be better. There's only one bathroom stall in both the men's and women's restrooms, which is just not enough. At the very least, the air conditioning should be reliable. read more

This is my first ever bad review in my entire life! My money got stolen from a locker room at this gym. I came for a "test drive" , this place looked amazing such a vibe, purchased a lock at the reception, used it at the locker room (it was very empty at the moment, I'm so glad l I always film everything, I have timing of events occurred). Then I went to the reception to get a membership and when I opened my wallet it was empty (I paid for the locker with cash from my wallet and I saw on cameras that on the receptionist phone, they have cameras right there above you) Then I was asked multiple times if I even had the money (I even started to believe that lol I was in shock) Then I was told they understand if I don't want to get a membership after what happened??? And that it never happened before? Then a receptionist texting with his manager on the phone sending same picture of me there with wallet , manager asked if I was the same blond from a week ago who said her phone got stolen ??? (Wtf!) I was like are you kidding me it's my first time here! Nothing was done - I left home crying- all my tips (I work my ass off) for over a week working was gone! They didn't take (who stole my money) my card or ID or check- all cash only (that goves me even more chill knowing they know all my info now) so I believe it was someone watching me buying a lock and watching me setting up the code. Only after I sent an email myself the management reached out to me saying I need to go to police they can't do anything there are too many people were walking in and out of the locker room (it was empty, just saying) Then I got suggested to purchase a lock FROM THEM next time lol Like I literally did. Then they called me saying they think they know who she was (woman who stole the money) but I need the police (still waiting) Now I asked for refund ( I still paid $180 on top of $500 stolen) because I have a ptsd going there knowing she is out there around me and I have no idea who she is and I'm nervous even to walk in now. But I got a response that I can't get a refund but I can get a free month when I decide to come back lmao! Don't go there ! This is my first ever bad review in my entire life! Yuck. I was prepared to like this gym, the pics on line looked like it was a cool place, and I had recently left Equinox and was looking for a new spot on miami beach to grab a simple workout. Initially the place looked nice, there is a good variety of machines and stations. I immediately discovered it is cramped, crowded (at 8pm on a Thursday) and worst of all REEKS OF BODY ODOR! It was humid from human respiration and sweat, really uncomfortable experience, just gross. Maybe a solution to this is to increase AC and fan speed to recirculate the air to cool it down to limit the funk? The machines are dirty, and there is a lack of wipes for the machines (hard to find), they have astro turf as flooring, which must hold a lot of old sweat and stink and be hard to clean. On the crowd, the men are swarthy and smelly and the women tattooed. Overall a very down market experience. Will not return! read more

My husband and myself came to take our quick check out at Gymage Miami. It turned out unfriendly type by entrance and locker room is pretty extremely dark like haunted house with strange smell & super low ceiling didn't bring out enough space to work out there!!!! Love this gym! Stays open later than most gyms around here on weekends, friendly staff, and all their machines are working- all equipment is clean and complete, and the gym is beautiful! Clean, aesthetically pleasing, and the music is always good. Even when I bring my headphones, I can take them off and enjoy their music. Got a pass for this gym from my awesome hotel (Esme). Gymage had everything I needed for my routine work out. A good selection of aerobic equipment. Free weights, squat bar, a ton of different weight machine equipment, a nice area for stretching. Good music. It wasn't too busy and had a nice view of the street. Definitely recommend for anybody looking for a great workout. read more

I joined Gymage as a Founding Member and it has been the best investment I have ever made. I have been with a few gyms in the US both in Miami Beach and Boston. Prior to that I was in Europe and worked out in gyms all over. If you want a gym that is clean, has the latest and greatest of equipment, a motivating and positive environment, has people that work there that actually care, members that know what true gym etiquette is and last but not least, want to be stunned by the amazing design, Gymage is the only gym you should consider. I have enjoyed every day since I joined and when I am traveling, I cannot find anything to fill that void. Gymage has spoilt me and now I fear I never find a similar experience when I move in the future. This place is what gyms should be like. I'm staying at the Catalina hotel and the Catalina hotel front desk told me that Gymage was connected with them and that I could workout there but when I showed up the little girl with glasses at the front desk was so beyond rude! She refused to let me in unless I paid $20. read more

Great space in Miami Beach on the 2nd level of a rather nondescript building. At first while you're climbing the stairs to the gym it feels as if you are going to walk into a steelhead type of a joint and then you arrive, bright and vibrant with all new equipment then greeted by the smiling and engaging Patricia at the front desk. After registering quickly for a day pass you are ready to start your workout. Elliptical to get the heart going (Patricia help a bit too) and then time to get a pump on with Life Fitness machines, free weights you name it. Great space too bad it's not bigger cause it's definitely going to attract those into staying in shape. A polite young trainer was working with a beginner and I could tell she was enjoying her session. My wife and I always look for local gyms when we travel (hotel gyms usually are lame) and we were not disappointed at the hour plus we put into our morning sweat at Gymage! After our workout we were even directed to a local around the corner Empanada joint for a post workout treat! read more
