I am extremely pleased with the Mitsubishi Split System AC units and excellent services provided by Air Source Air Conditioning. I first installed two split systems over 10 years ago, and with the annual maintenance service they provided in conjunction with the Hawaii Energy rebate program, both units continue to perform well with no problems at all. Based on this experience, decided to ask Air Source to provide additional units for all of my bedrooms and family room. Kevin Goo came within a week to assess my rooms and gave me a very reasonable quote that I was happy with. They just finished installing 5 wall units with two compressors in a day and a half. Fast, efficient, and very friendly workers. All my compressors are hidden in the walk space under my house and protected from the elements. They even took care of the paperwork to get the Hawaii Energy rebate for new split systems and deducted the rebate from my final bill. I first used Air Source 2 years ago for a 3 bedroom split system units and was extremely impressed with their customer service. Kristi was very responsive, professional and super NICE. Kevin led the team of installers and they were very professional, personable and polite. The quality of work was efficient and Kevin is very knowledgeable. Fast forward this year, I thought my old 33k btu Mitsubishi living room unit broke. Requested service online and Kristi responded on the same day. AGAIN super nice! I was ready to replace it as my first experience led me back to them. Kevin came out and in his assessment, found that my remote was faulty and the unit was still functional. Went out of there way to get an old remote and did not charge me for the diagnostic. Paid for the part and saved a lot of money! He continued to get me a quote on record in case I need to replace it in the future. When I do I will definitely use them. I am definitely sold on them and will be a loyal customer! Couldn't be happier with the installation of our 3 new Mitsubishi A/C units, thanks to Air Source! ;D From the very beginning, Kevin & his staff were super nice, professional, & responded promptly to all calls/communications. Kevin came out personally for a free estimate, discussed our needs/preferences, took his measurements, and was done in about 20 minutes; we got the estimate back within a couple days. I should note that their estimate was waaay better than the one we got from another company, and Air Source came highly recommended by a close friend who just got her A/C installed a couple years ago...that's all I needed to make my decision! Yes it's true these guys have a long waiting list of jobs (2-3 months?), but I'm convinced it's just because they're THAT good! Luckily we called them in the winter-time--before it got too hot--so the wait really wasn't a problem for us. They even accommodated our request to split our installation into 2 separate dates, b/c I couldn't make up my mind about whether to get the 3rd A/C unit or not (but they never pushed)! For both installations, the crew arrived right on time--they 'always' start between 7:30-8:00 am--and were finished by lunchtime. Everyone was very polite, took their shoes off before they entered (we've actually had a problem with other service providers!), and they went right to work as soon as they arrived. For the inside-areas, they laid out tarp, politely declined my offer to turn on a fan for them (b/c it was getting hot already...but they didn't want the woodchips/dust to blow around our house), and cleaned up their work areas beautifully before they finished. After a quick tutorial on how to use our new A/C, they gave us the instruction manual, remote control, & paperwork for our HECO rebate--they'd already filled out their part--and were on their way. =) I'd recommend Air Source to anyone in a heartbeat! read more

They pick up phones, reply immediately, price reasonably, come when scheduled and install and service impeccably. It was a joy to watch these guys at work. Five Stars for the Air Source Air Conditioning Company. I had three Mitsubishi Electric units that replaced my older units. I called Air Source on a Friday late afternoon and received a returned call on Monday morning. Kristi contacted me and had Kevin come out to Mililani to give me an estimate. Kevin sat with me and shared the replacement units. They were "energy saving" units that were recognized by HECO. These units qualified for HECOs HVAC rebate. A few days later, I received an email from Kristi with an estimate and contract. The price for the units and labor were a lot cheaper than a quote I received earlier from another contractor I've used before. I signed the contract and scheduled an installation date. Kevin and his crew came out and had my system running by early afternoon. The crew did an excellent job installing the units. Kristi had all my paperwork ready for HECO's Hawaii Energy rebate. Kevin and Kristi runs an excellent company with great service to its customers. I've had a positive experience and I want to share this with others. Although I did not go with Air Source for installation (they do not install in condos or apartments), I had to give them 5 stars for their super prompt and detailed response...at 6am in the morning on a Saturday (my email was sent Friday night). All the other contractors I've worked with have such poor response times. At least Air Source was upfront about not doing condos as well, other contractors I've worked with so far kind of use stall or avoidance tactics instead of being straight up about not wanting to do work in a condo high rise. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience I've had with Air Source AC, and even more pleasantly surprised by the reasonable and realistic quotes they gave me compared to other AC companies out there. Kristi worked hard to find me the parts at a reasonable cost to repair my Mitsubishi split-air unit, and the technician was efficient, friendly, and insightful. Their rates are predictable. The technician who showed up to my home shared many tips and experience with me during his 1-hour visit. Combined with their incredible response times, I'm 99.998% certain I'll be coming back to them again for future service. The last 0.0002% is because there is always the possibility I could move to the South Pole sometime in the distant future. TIP: ALWAYS call Air Source first, and DO NOT wait until summer to get your system serviced or checked. Winter is absolutely the PERFECT time to service AC, and paying for an annual diagnostic will save you a lot of headache later -- trust me! You don't want to be paying 10x the cost or waiting 2 months for someone to show up in the middle of 95F weather. read more

We love our Mitsubishi ACs. We just got ours installed this past weekend. Loved the clean and professional look on the installation on the inside and especially the outside with there wiring and piping to disguise the wires. We got a big unit for the living room and small unit for our master bedroom where we spend most of our time...lol. Air Source showed up on time with 4-5 big white vans crowding my street and making a scene with lots of hands on deck (loved it...lol.) and did their thing. Job was beautifully done and it was done fast and efficiently. The number one seller for me was their pricing; it was decent unlike other 4 quotes i got in my research process. Kevin conducted a thorough walk-through for installation of two units and explained to us what would work best for the different rooms. The actual installation took about 4-5 hours and the crew was extremely polite, professional, and efficient. We appreciated everyone wearing masks as they worked and maintaining distance. What most impressed us was that the installation crew pointed out to us that one of the A/C unit's vanes was misshaped. He immediately called the office to order a replacement. Every aspect of working with Air Source was top notch, from Kristie's scheduling and answering our questions to Kevin's thoughtful placement of the air conditioning systems so they'd do the job but be as unobtrusive as possible, to the actual installation team. We had unfortunately gone with another loical company that was Mitsubishi "Diamond Certified" but didn't have much of a clue about the process. They were supposed to install 4 air conditioners and didn't manage to put up one on the first day. On the susequent days (and I mean DAYS) they ran convoluted piping by our front door and front side of the house and still hadn't installed a functional system But enough about them: If you want a first-rate air conditioning install with a lot of aloha and expertise, call Kristie and Kevin at Air Source.
