My A/C started blowing 82 degree air and I turned it off. This was on a Friday evening. Saturday…read moremorning I called and spoke to Angela who arraigned for a tech to come out. Parker evaluated the cause (slow leaking evaporator coil) but he wanted to be sure the rest of the system maintained integrity by performing a pressure leak test which he did a few days later. He charged the system back up, enough to get me to the pressure test. Confirming the problem, he passed me over to Hope who provided a solution and explained in detail what needed to be done, what it would cost, and how long it would take. This was on a Friday afternoon. She was able to coordinate the required new equipment, materials and schedule their construction team for the following Monday morning. Everything was in place that morning and needless to say, they knew what to do and how to do it. They jumped on it, and never stopped. No breaks, no lunch and were finished by 2:00 PM. This was a major project, having to demo and rebuild the supply plenum, remove and replace the coil section of the furnace, install a new drain pan and drains, etc. As fate would have it, my thermostat had failed and that caused a delay getting the system to start. Richard, another airWoodlands tech came out and discovered the problem quickly and provided me with a new thermostat. From Angela, to Parker, to Hope, to Cossa, and to Richard, I could not have asked for a better team from any one, anywhere. Customer service in general has failed in America, but this group is an exception. I will never have to search for an a/c contractor. Air Woodlands is the best. (A special call out to Parker. He was the key element in earning my trust and Air Woodlands)

It was 85 upstairs and getting worse…read more With 2 kids, 5 foster kittens and a dog, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get anyone to come out - but Air Woodlands came out and was able to get my system working! When I had an issue a half hour later, the tech came right back out and solved the problem. A month later, I called the office about an issue with my thermostat and they helped me - even though they hadn't sold it to me they knew what had happened, and told me about the Honeywell warrantee. I'm grateful beyond measure and will call them if my system has more problems because of their customer service and expertise!

I called AOT early in the morning and they were there in no time. I had to leave by 10:00 and they said no problem. AOT, (Mathew), diagnosed the problem and went to get the parts while I was away. I returned later and he showed up with the parts and repaired my heater. While working on the heater he noticed that the vent stack was not installed correctly along with my overhead exhaust tube. The builder installed these incorrectly. The builder did not screw the sheet metal together. They just used tape. Mathew called his office and got help. Lance and Troy came out and helped Mathew repair all the sheet metal. There was 1 piece that they didn't have and Mathew came back 2 days later with the correct part and fixed it. All this extra work was done over and above the original quote and yet they didn't charge me any additional. They stated that they would not leave a job with the issues they found because they would be known as the last ones there. I highly recommend AOT based on the service, timeliness, honesty and quality. read more

Excellent service from James and his team. Great communication, always showed up on time....james even swept up afterwards. Lol. I would defiantely recommend them for the service and they also have great financing. A little more detail: our attic is very small and some how, some way, these guys made everything happen. As they were working we began to realize that a contractor we had before totally fucked us over. James and his team not only did the job we agreed on, but they went above and beyond to fix some things no other company was able to see. It was like magic. They didnt half ass the work. You can tell they take great pride in their work. They helped us to set up the digital thermostat to our phones. Now our utility bills will be way less than before and I am elated. I called at 1:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon and did not expect to see anyone until Monday. To my surprise Justin showed up at 4:30 that afternoon. He came in and looked at my system and diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes and made the necessary repairs. He went the extra mile repairing a couple of other small things that were wrong and he did an excellent job. My system works now better than it has in years it blows hotter and stronger than I am pleased with everything that he did. I cannot say too many good things about Air On Time. they installed a new unit last September that worked wonderfully after the grills were reset. the grills were reset and replaced as needed for no additional charge. now comes Beryl. No power for 9 days. when we got home and turned the a/c on we found leakage so we had to turn it off. They repaired the system and contacted a plumber that came out (at night, mind you) to get the system up and running for us. it was so good to sleep in our own bed in a very cool home. Air On Time AC is worth it! James got us worked in last minute on a Sunday night. Drew came out to do the repair and was very quick and efficient. He had excellent customer service skills and explained things thoroughly for those of us (me) who basically know nothing about AC repairs. I call this company when I tried two other AC repair company and my unit was still not working properly I tried to call the other company back no answer did not even attempt to reach out so I googled and found Airontime it was at the top of my search ok let's give it a try because I was over it with heat and the issue. After doing…read moresome troubleshooting Saturday morning to see if it's a simple fix, I was unable to get it back working so I decided to give them a call. They did a service call later that day which revealed that the board on my furnace was bad and needed to be replaced. They put in a temporary fix which allowed one of my 2 thermostats to directly control the AC for the entire house until then. Monday roll around, they came out and replaced the board which took a few hours. After being told it was done, there was still no air coming out of the vents. I communicated my problem and the next day, the owner had another tech out investigating my issue which revealed a slightly different issue than what it was originally believed to be. They got it figured out and got my AC working. They also came back the following day just to further troubleshoot and make sure they had the issue fully resolved, then also fully explained to me what was the issue and the steps they took to resolve it. I felt like they took the effort to make sure my issue was resolved properly. I stand by any business that values customer service. I recommend these guys!

When I asked them to give me a reasonable accomodation on pricing for a replacement system they did not bother to do that, but they did offer to sell me a whole home dehumidifier to reduce the high humidity levels in my house caused by the wrong sized system they installed. I was a senior senior citizen when they sold me the oversized system. I am told that the AG's office in Austin would be very interested, but I do not want to cause them that kind of problem. So. I am just stuck it seems. Be careful. They will sell you what you ask for whether it is technically correct for your home or not. Service requested: They gave me what I asked for. Quality: I got the Amana brand. Value: Wrong system for my home. Where's the value in that ?

Jason came out to do measurements and discuss an additional vent in my main bedroom, and came up with the perfect plan. And the guys installing (Juan and Tony- I think I got that right) we're super polite and worked their butts off on the hottest day of the week with no complaints. They did a great job of being tidy too. My home, particularly my main bedroom, is cooling better than it has since the day I moved in. And honestly I couldn't be more pleased. Suppose I'll just have to hope for the nicer of the office gals when I call in for my twice a year check up.

HW came, did something to their AC and said they needed a new condenser fan motor. $700.00. As soon as he left, their AC stopped working. Worked fine all year... the exact moment he left it no longer functioned. The odds are astronomical that the system suddenly broke the moment he left. HW maintains it was a coincidence and the motor was already failing. 100+ degrees and elderly people. $700. We called a relative who got the same part for $165 and put it in. We asked for a written inspection report and HW said "we don't do that". You decide for yourself if you want these guys in your home.
