I don't leave many yelp reviews, but this company deserves one! Our AC quit working on Saturday. Thinking they wouldn't be around on the weekend we called Monday morning and they said that they would be working in the area and would try to stop by and have a look. They came by that afternoon, when the house was 91 degrees inside, and I fell asleep that night with the inside temp being a comfortable 70 degrees, with the AC working great, and knowing that I didn't get ripped off or pay a ton of cash to get the HVAC up and running. This is the second time they've come through for us like this. Of course I don't want to have to make a call for HVAC service again, but if I do they will be the first ones I call!! They installed new ducts in our remodeled/flipped home, where they had to get creative to make sure every room had the most optimal exposure to air/heating. What a great company! My AC wasn't working blowing cold at the end of last summer. I figured I'd just wait until the following year to have it checked out. Fast forward to now, getting ready to sell and wanted to make sure the AC was operational for buyer. I probably should have tried it out again before having someone over, but I called Air Flohs and Chris came out. I turned on my AC and it worked just fine. I felt bad he came by for nothing, so I asked about routine maintenance that other companies advertise or replacing the insulation at the connection to the house and he explained why all of this is all unnecessary. He then spent some time showing me how to easily check that it is working properly for future reference. There was no service charge for his time! These guys are the real deal! My A/C went out last evening, on a hot July day--horrors! Based on all the positive reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor, I decided to call and got their dispatcher on the phone. Chris later returned my call but couldn't come over immediately. However, this morning Chris and Cory were at my door (with masks on)...they somehow managed to squeeze me in to their crowded schedule! Within minutes, they found the culprit: a dead start capacitor, whatever that is. They had the part in the truck, changed it out and voila, the A/C worked! So happy to pay only $225 for the service call plus part, not get talked in a whole new A/C unit for $$ thousands (as I'd feared). Chris and Cory are honest and really know their stuff. However, six months later; when I asked Corey to come out, he said, he would not come out because of his unfounded perception of me. I am the customer who just paid over four thousand dollars to have a complete new AC system installed in my home. I left a message for Air Flohs mid-day on a very hot Friday when the a/c wouldn't turn for our renters. I quickly received a call back and he made time at the end of the day to check out the issue. He went above and beyond dealing with a rat that got in and chewed several wires of the unit. The rat refused to leave and he worked around the rat to replace the damaged wires. Considering the time he took and the unusual circumstances, the price was reasonable. I would definitely call Air Flohs again if a need arises. read more
