Our AC was performing poorly. We could hear the compressor working but the temperature in the house kept rising. When we decided we needed to secure the services of a local HVAC company, we remembered the great work Aelott had done at the rental home, we previously owned. They sent David Gilbert. David methodically tested the system - the compressor outside and the air handler in the "very warm - HOT" attic. Upon diagnosing the system issue, he explained the problems in language understandable to unschooled individuals. He relocated the thermal expansion valve, identified a wrongfully wired connecton and replaced a section of the dran piping that was improperly sloped. David was thorough! Our system is working much more efficiently now. Three cheers for David and Aellot.!!! Luigi and Barb Schioppi read more

A/C & Furnace install. Painless. Professional & hard working team of two. Pricing is competitive. Saved me from making a mistake with a competitor who bid obsolete equipment not of the right configuration for the footprint. Highly recommend this company. John read more

Very impressed with the service with Aelott. They came out the next day and fixed a problem that has been happening on and off for several years. When the tech -David- explained the problem I immediately knew he knew what he was talking about. Will definitely use them in the future. The only reason not 5 starts is when i asked for a quote prior to work he said "a couple hundred dollars" to me this is somewhere between 2 and 3 hundred. The repair ended up costing over 450, and that is after the 89 dollar service charge was removed. I think that could have been more clear. I will however use them in the future and recommend them to my friends. read more

Aelott was a referral and second quote for AC install. Steve came out in a timely manner and gave our home an honest AC quote. We are so thankful for Steve and Aelott, you will notice the difference right away compared to the other quotes/visits. Aelott was efficient, kind and honest. The crew who came by to install was just as impressive. The follow up service appt from Terry was just as great. The feeling of having this crew in your home taking care of it all, is a blessing. I can contact Steve via email or text anytime and expect a quick reply and amazing options. Just call, ask for Steve. The crew and service team has been amazing. Thankful for the mom and pop feel and quick turnaround with prices that can't be beat. read more

Aelott has been servicing our air conditioning for many years. They always have given excellent service and fair prices.

The technician arrived on a timely manner and wore booties, when asked to do so. He was polite, professional and quick with his repair. The only complaint I had, and I believe it is a big one; when I phoned to request someone come out to check why my heater was not working, I was NEVER informed of the mandatory service call charge (regardless of any repair) of $145.00. The repair took only a few minutes, no parts and I did use a local company to keep travel costs down. A wire was loose and needed to be tightened. I understand there being a cost, but I should have been made aware of the service call fee of $145 prior to them coming out. When I was told the charge, I paid it but called the owner. I expected a discount/refund or even credit for a future tune up of system or something but all I received was a generically presented apology. read more

A REVIEW FROM A 50 YEAR CUSTOMER I have purchased air conditioners and had service from Aelott for 50 years and I'm a satisfied customer. We have a rather long house and have two air conditioners because we occupy one end of the home in the daytime and the other end at night. Our current Carrier air conditioners are 29 years old and one of the units had an electrical malfunction. Doug came out today and replaced the two bad parts and the old wiring. He also checked both units and added a tiny amount of coolant to both units. He checked the electrical cut-off switch boxes and found a loose screw which he tightened. I liked Doug he is an old school repairman who knows his craft and provides honest service. That has been my experience for 50 years. If you use Aelott then ask for Doug to do the service. It will be done right. Aelott is one of those old fashion companies that has been around forever, because they give honest service at a fair price. read more

I contacted this company in January and the guy came diagnostic five minutes to charge me $110 and told me what's the problem he told me that they said it's so expensive I can find it in eBay cheaper so I did I bought it from Amazon after I bought the part and i change it I find out it's not the problem so I had to call the other company and they find the problem something else , so it was not the board control it was the gas valve . The reason I called other company because Aelott they want to come back and charge me again $110+ $500 for that part . read more

We've used these guys forever from everything to simple home Central A/C to our office's complex, multi-zone cooling systems. We love these guys! My most recent tech came on-time (you don't realize how big that is until you have someone else no-show on you), quickly diagnosed the problem (clogged primary condensation line), and fixed it. He also gave a complimentary exam of the rest of the A/C system and provided his personal recommendations for maintenance and continued use. You don't get that from everyone! read more

These guys are the best HVAC service providers in San Diego Co. I've used their services for HVAC maintenance, corrective duct work, and most recently ... replacing 2 worn out A/C's. Uncommonly honest, courteous hometown service. They don't give the impression of being the cheapest service in town, but they have ALWAYS been an absolute bargain. read more

Horrible service and install company. They visited my house and could not fix my heater another company fixed it for $100 dollars.

I called these guys to do some work and the Gal who answered the phone, said they are not taking on new customers. Who does that? I guess they dont want your business. Dont bother calling read more

Rich and his team are second to none in HVAC. His team removed the gas wall furnaces, and installed an entire heating and AC system - the install was so seamless and well planned you would think the home was built with it originally. Aelott is a pleasure to deal with, and they know how to get the job done right the first time, highly recommended! read more

After the recommendation of several Canyon View Estate neighbors in Escondido, we called Aelott to repair our AC that was blowing hot air. Joe arrived early on Monday morning, gave us a $100. service call and bill for $300. in Freon with tax $425. He was here about 20 minutes! Said it did not appear to be leaking. One week later - Freon was gone! Called the office and Dorothy was like "tough cookies". We can have some one back out in 4 days with another $100. trip charge Please read my awesome review on Campbell's Heat & AC. They resolved the issue same day! read more

I wholeheartedly recommend Rich, Bowen and Brian at Aelott. Rich really went out of his way to help research the right unit. Bowen and Brian were professional and helpful. They even installed a plastic cap where the hoses enter the house to prevent mice from entering, without needing to be asked. As we have had a mice problem all summer, this is most welcome. Thank you again! read more

Reliable, fair pricing and fabulous. I cannot ask for more in a air conditioning co. I refer all my clients to Aelott and eveyone is thrilled with their service. Thanks Rich for taking care of my clients. read more

They did a fine job on our A/C furnace replacement. Courteous, on time and great clean up afterward. We asked for annual follow up and they did not respond. Our unit is functioning perfecting however, and we are happy with it. read more

Rich and the folks at Aelott are awesome! Their timeliness, professionalism, and knowledge of diagnosing the correct problem with our AC unit, allowed for the least impact to my family. Unfortunately, we haven't done the best job with maintenance of our unit over the past several years and finally had a problem with it. These things happen! Rich came over and fixed our unit. He could have easily tried to sell us a new AC unit like many people in the industry would have done, but didn't. He gave us some needed advice on proper maintenance for the future. I value honesty and work ethic, something this company definitely has. Thanks again for helping my family! read more

Professional, GREAT service, and HONEST! I HIGHLY recommend!

When I choose Aelott Air Conditioning because they were the lowest price I was a little worried even know several friends had recommended them. However, I no longer have any worries. They did a fantastic job with great equipment, professional workman, clean installation and still a best price by quite a bit. They may not wear white gloves but I will put them up against anyone. Thanks Aelott. read more

Five Stars to Aelott Air Conditioning for their prompt and outstanding service!! Our air conditioner suddenly quit working late on a Friday afternoon. I received a return call from Stephen the next business day (Monday) and was quite pleased when Stephen said he'd have a service technician come by to check out our AC unit that same day. Our service technician, Joe, first checked the filter to see if it needed cleaning, then proceeded to find the source of the problem--one of two fuses on the outdoor equipment had blown. After replacing the fuses, Joe checked the refrigerant level on the unit, then checked to see that the temperature was dropping on an AC vent inside the house. Joe was highly efficient, courteous and honest--a common sentiment expressed by other Yelp reviewers. I won't hesitate to use Aelott Air Conditioning in the future. Way to go guys! read more

Rich from Aelott came out today to give me a bid on a new system and ended up showing me how to repair my old system and saved me a ton of money! Thanks for the honesty and great service!! read more

After the company I purchased my equipment from and serviced it for years closed, I am jumping from one company to another due the disappointment of customer service. Most companies give you a run down to sale you unnecessary items due commission and requirement by company. So I was very skeptical calling Aelott, I only called Aelott due the yelp reviews and being local. First visit was as usual show up look at it $100, quote $500 - $600, just as we expected, my husband called me and said well until we done we blow a $1000 out of the window, we still decided to go ahead and see if the problem really will be fixed and I decided taking a day off work to see myself. Oh boy let me tell you; with John we have found the company we where looking for years, the service, professionalism, was beyond my expedition. John showed up and was getting right at work very detailed after completing John didn't leave he stayed waited for the unit to fully charge, testing everything if it runs properly and throughout the whole time answered all my questions I had. My bill in total was $600 seeing alll the work John had it was reasonable. The problem is gone John fixed it & Aelott gained a new customer thanks to John! In the future we will request only John and Aelott needs to give him a raise this guy is awesome and a asset to the company. Thank you John!!! read more

My husband signed a contract to have a new AC unit installed with a 2-week lead time. But after the contract was signed that was changed to 4 weeks. Then, the install date was moved up. We were excited to finally be getting AC. My husband took the day off from work only to have a no show. Very disappointing. Had heard good things about this company. read more

I am so happy I called Aelott. John fixed my air conditioning and did an excellent job...very customer focused. I set up my appointment with Dorothy in the office who called me along the way to advise what was going on and when John was showing up. My problem required 2 visits, which is not unusual...standard parts never seem to work at my house. John explained everything to me and made sure I understood. The cost was more than reasonable. I can't get over the customer service though...you just don't find it to this level anymore. They are the best! read more

My mobile home Coleman gas furnace just stopped working, so I called Aelott Air based on their good Yelp reviews. I was so pleased. A serviceman named John arrived on time, was very kind, immediately found the problem, and fixed it. He was extremely nice and competent and explained everything to me. I will definitely call Aelott Air again (and request John) if I need any HVAC work! read more
