Disgusting found hair in my wrap.
    Eddy N.

Needless to say more. Took that one bite , informed the kitchen supervisor and left. It was busy during the lunch rush but food safety was not their top priority. Not sure if the wrap was made there but regardless they need to make sure food is safe for guest to consume. Very disappointed, this does not even warrant a star....zero star!

    No morning drinks!

The place is nice and clean like all lounges, but I was disappointed by the morning services. The expresso machine was broken. The hot chocolate dispenser had no chocolate and just muddy water (like it ran out and water was just rising the pipe). Breakfast options was standard with hot (scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, oatmeal) and cold (yogurt, fruits, pastries) food. And NOT a great place for a morning mimosa since there's no alcohol until 11am (it was a Saturday).

Not the most fancy lounge I've ever been to but a decent spread of snacks and food. The day I went had rice, beans, chicken (no veggie protein), and a salad bar to make yourself a Mexi dish. It was fine and sufficed to not have to purchase lunch in YVR. The drink options were good with juice, sodas, and an array of serve-yourself alcohols. Service was good and staff cleaning up were pretty on top of it since there were no dirty dishes laying around - thank you to them!

    So many empty seats!

I'm still not convinced this is the same Maple Leaf lounge people are posting about. This is the second maple leaf lounge I went to in Vancouver and it was near E85 after you clear customs to return to the US. You go up the elevator to access the lounge, where they will scan your boarding pass to see if you're eligible to go in. There were quite a few seats and depending on which side of the lounge you were sitting on, you could rather see the planes coming in and leaving or people arriving off of flights and walking to customs. I prefer watching planes. The food is pretty standard for airport lounges. They had fruit, breads and bagels you could put through a toaster, oatmeal, coffee, juices etc. later in the day, the food would change and they'd offer complimentary alcohol. But since we were at the lounge in the morning, no alcohol for us haha. Some of the other reviews mention a restaurant. I want to find that lounge haha oh well. Next time maybe.

We were quickly admitted after scanning our boarding passes at the front desk. With Star Alliance Gold status I was able to include a guest for free. It was a few years since I last came here and not much has changed. There was a decent amount of open seating with inside views of arriving passengers and outside views of planes and gates. Seats were comfy for our almost two hour stay. The food options included make your own soft tacos, salad, tortilla soup, coleslaw, apples or bananas, refrigerators with sodas, Lavazza coffee maker, cookies, beer on tap and a self serve liquor bar. The tacos and soup were actually pretty tasty. Staff came around periodically to remove the used glasses and plates. When it came time to head to our gate, we only had to allocate less than five minutes to walk over to E74. Very convenient.

A convenient lounge located in the international terminal after passport control - Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge (Transborder) This is my first time here. The open buffet is a treat. Overall, a very relaxing experience. Food, full open bar and massive windows with natural light. Plenty of seats and power outlets. Only downside is it gets quite toasty next to the windows when the sun is out. There are seats that are cooler, so don't fret. PLEASE NOTE : There is another entirely separate Maple Leaf Lounge in the domestic terminal. NOTE: Unfortunately, you can only enter based on your status with the airline and Star Alliance. Guests can accompany that person with status, but probably will have to pay again based on the main guests status. You can't arrive as an individual and pay for access. I found out the guard way that in a different airport that entrance is restricted this way.

Enroute to SE Asia and flying business class so have lounge access. The lounge has large windows and a variety of seating options. Seated by a window and ordered off the a la carte menu. The steak was ok...cooked to order but lacked taste. The latte was good and happy the bar opens soon so I can enjoy some wine before boarding. It was a positive airport lounge experience.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge (Vancouver Airport Domestic Terminal): The Gas Station Bathroom of Lounges Walking into the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge in Vancouver's Domestic Terminal, you might expect a small sanctuary--an escape from the chaos of boarding announcements and overpriced terminal snacks. What you'll actually find, however, is an insult to the very concept of a lounge. This isn't a refuge; it's a total dump. The carpets tell the story first: stained, dirty, and begging for retirement. The furniture? Equally neglected--worn, faded, and reeking of disregard. The lounge feels less like a premium retreat and more like the backroom of a bus station. There's a sense that no one cares. Trash sits abandoned on tables long after guests have left, with no staff in sight to clear it away. Maintenance, it seems, is a concept they've actively decided to ignore. The food situation is laughable, if it weren't also slightly terrifying. The so-called "buffet" area could make a gas station convenience store blush. Sticky counters, questionable hygiene, and a selection that feels like it's been assembled by someone who doesn't like food very much. Seven Eleven would serve as a notable upgrade, not just in taste, but in basic sanitation. Need to charge your devices? Good luck. The power outlets are few and far between, tucked along walls and columns like a cruel joke. You'll need a power cable longer than your patience to reach one, and even then, you'll be tripping over your neighbor's equally desperate setup. For a lounge in the heart of a modern airport, this lack of foresight is downright embarrassing. Here's the thing: lounges are supposed to be about small luxuries. A clean table. A decent meal. A place to plug in your laptop without reenacting a scene from "Survivor." Air Canada's Maple Leaf Lounge offers none of that. It's the equivalent of paying extra for a first-class ticket and being handed a tray of reheated airplane food. If you find yourself here, my advice is simple: turn around. Head back to the terminal, grab a coffee, and wait at the gate. Whatever inconvenience you imagine avoiding by coming here pales in comparison to the reality of sitting in this grim, neglected space. Until Air Canada decides to invest in a deep clean, a kitchen overhaul, and enough power outlets to charge a phone without a scavenger hunt, this lounge isn't just disappointing--it's downright insulting. Save yourself the frustration. You deserve better.

A bit dated but comfortable none the less. Decent food choices for a layover and service and coffee are good. Also can get alcohol of course. Chairs are comfy and it's clean.

Not the best signage (or any actually) to locate this lounge, it was right next to the Lululemon store and a farmers market. Once you do find the lounge, you will find ample seating and a decent selection of food and drinks. Alcoholic beverages are "serve yourself" which differs from the LAX Maple lounge. There is buffet style food, with 4 heated buffet trays (we had items, such as squash Mac n cheese, salmon, rice pilaf) and there are salad and veggies available, as well as a soup (minestrone was available when we were there). There is a coffee and tea station with many tea bag options available, as well as a specialty coffee station (cappacinos, espresso's ext). There are also assorted cookies in the jars, along with one dessert at the buffet station. The lounge was clean and comfy, and servers were friendly.

This lounge is spacious, the staff was friendly and attentive. I had a good stay. The hot meals were pretty good- there were 3 selections of hot food (taco, Thai chicken, chicken penne) and a dessert. The bartender was friendly and the bar was fully stacked. The seats were comfortable. It's one of the better lounges I've been to in Canada.

Possibly the best AC Maple leaf lounge I've ever been to (not comparing with Signatire lounge which is in a different league). I'm impressed by the variety of drinks and food selection including 9 different wines, an extensive cocktail list and made to order rice and noodle dishes plus more). I was here on Valentine's Day and I got a sparking rosé wine with a hand crafted strawberry rose. That made me so happy. The bartender (Jorge?) is amazing!

Electric outlets are above ground all over. HUGE trip hazards. Saw an older person almost fall.

Although they have stepped it up at yvr, the better lounge is the AMEX lounge by far. Better selection, real eggs and more comfortable.

Unfortunately, this one didn't quite measure up. The overall experience felt a bit underwhelming. The space itself could definitely use some TLC -- the furniture looked worn and dated, and it gave off more of a tired, well-used vibe rather than a relaxing pre-flight retreat. One of the bigger misses for me was the lack of accessible power outlets, which is something you really come to rely on when traveling. That said, it wasn't a terrible stop -- just not quite what I've come to expect from premium lounge experiences (as its name would imply). With a refresh and a few updates, it could easily be brought back up to par. For now, it's serviceable, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to revisit.

I saw one that looked like a little cafe and there was no chance I was going to waste it there. After walking a bit I stumbled upon this one, walked a little further and didn't see another one so came here to kill a little bit of time. When I went to check in, I was told that I couldn't be here for more than 2 hours. I don't ever recall being told this in Asia at the Plaza lounges but that was fine. I checked in, took the elevator up and looked around. The area is actually pretty spacious but it's not obvious as there are a few different areas. The thing is, I think there was more people upstairs than there was areas to sit. I went to get a coffee and checked out what they were serving. They were serving breakfast but they were transitioning to lunch so I waited a little longer as the eggs, bacon and other items didn't look that great. When they rolled over the food items, I grabbed a plate of a few lunch items to sample. I had to walk around the area 2 or 3 times to finally find an open seat. I sat down and tried the plate I just put together. It was OK, nothing really stood out from it. They also offered some free drinks. I didn't really pay to much attention to it as I was satisfied with my coffee. There were a few TVs and there was a nice view overlooking the airport. The lounge looks a bit well used as some of the items look like it could use a refresh. Not the worst lounge but definitely nowhere as nice as some of the ones I've been to in the last couple of years.

I don't recall most international airport bars or foods; yet this remains a memorable spot. Or i may be bias towards Vancouver, I recommend for following reasons -- Convenient choice for hotel guests, relaxing stop when you have layover time at YVR airport, and this place has ambiance suitable for both short coffee/tea business meetups in between flights and for saying more intimate goodbye's over drinks when sending someone off at the airport. (those farewell moments may be more memorable and special here~) I enjoy chilling here for a drink or a bite before a flight because it feels more cozy here, and def more relaxed than the airport lounges inside security. The fireplace is a nice bonus plus you can sit by your view of choice and enjoy fine dining quality in a relaxed lounge setting. And sometimes there's live music at nights, which is my favorite part. Service here should be on par but unfortunately, it is not always on par with business VIP airport lounges, as this place can be under staffed or have a sick staff still working a shift. When the staff is new or sick and wearing a mask, they may forget to bring cutlery and be slow in getting to your table...Luckily, it's easier for one to take it easy and be patient here with its cozy vibes. This Jetside Bar can be casual, intimate, romantic, professional or even fun for people watching, depending on where you sit and which menu you choose, from its bar menu to dining menu to breakfast menu to dessert menu, etc. Solid dining option with good drinks and foods + flexible and adaptable to your occasions.

Told her I did not receive a chicken burger, plus I ordered a BLT and still had the ticket in my hand. She finally made it and brought it out 5 minutes later. BLT was the worst Ive ever had, maybe even the worst *sandwich* I've ever had. Zero mayo, uneven distribution of lettuce, tomato, and bacon, and not enough bacon to make a sandwich (maybe two strips in total). Imagine two pieces of dry toast - that's what the sandwich was, except for the very middle where the slice of tomato, leaf of lettuce, and two small strips of bacon had been hastily strewn. You ever had one of those gas station sandwiches for $4? That's what this was, except it cost $13.
