Separate liquor bar and snack/food section with coffee machines and can cold drinks. Minimal choices on food. During lunch time they offer wonton noodles that can be made to order. The lounge is clean and neat. Most of the seating area has equipped with charger close to the seats. Wifi is sufficient to watch movies. Moderate noise level. Overall a good experience.

I use my priority pass to enter plus two guests. You'll be required to show your membership card/barcode (from app) and everyone's boarding pass to enter. They have a weird layout where near the entrance there is a seating area and then near the food are tables. It is not a huge lounge. You can stay up to 4 hours and they do not allow for re-entry. There is a bathroom (separate men and women) and two private shower rooms inside the lounge. We went at 10:30 which is at the end of their breakfast. The eggs and sausage tasted like the breakfast menu at McDonalds. The tater tots were crispy and they also had rice porridge. They have a variety of soft drinks, beers and two coffee machines that brews various types of coffee drinks (hot cocoa too). The coffee wasn't that strong though. At 11am is when they switch out the breakfast menu and start the noodle bar. At the noodle bar, they serve hot wonton soup (shrimp and pork wonton), cold Taiwanese noodle and pork shumai (dumplings). I was able to order for two people; two wonton soups and two orders of dumplings. Each order of dumplings comes with 2 pieces so if you want more than two, just order 2 of them and you'll get 4. You can get the wonton noodle soup as 'spicy' but it is not spicy at all so try it out. The broth is hearty although the noodle itself was bland (doesn't soak up the flavor of the soup). Just eat with the soup. The menu has sandwiches written but those are the ones out for grabs so just order the above three from the noodle station. The sandwiches/wraps were dry and not tasty at all so I wouldn't recommend eating them. For lunch, they switch out the tater tots, eggs and sausage to ravioli with pesto, veggies, and mango chicken. The ravioli pesto sauce was very salty so try it on the side before drenching the raviolis with it. Overall, I would come for the noodle soup and dumplings but not for breakfast. The staff kept the area clean and came over often to take away the plates. It is also one of the rare lounges that has trays for you to carry your dishes.

The cleaning staff is great and the food / beverage options are respectable. The main dishes today were ravioli, finger sandwiches, wraps, chicken, tomato bisque. 2 types is East Asian noodle dishes and pork dumpings. The seating is adequate but the atmosphere and decor are rather tired. 2 areas for improvement : 1. The front desk receptionist was not very customer service focused. I had stood in front of her for 30 seconds before she looked to acknowledge my presence. The previous customer had just left and gone up to the lounge and I approached the desk right after the previous customer stepped away. 2. The bathroom area is unacceptable for an airport lounge. The walls along hallway leading up to the bathrooms and showers are lined with scratches and peeled paints. Signs asking patrons to maintain cleanliness of the bathrooms in both English and Mandarin are Scotch-taped on the back of the doors to the stalls. The languages of the messages are provincial and are of those you would expect to see in a rural village. Exposed glue can be seen along the rims of the receptacles by the sinks. The spout of one of the faucets has a clear plastic flow control put on. I could not see myself stepping into the showers. Any bathrooms in the main airport areas would be in better shape.

Loved that this lounge is open 24 hours--huge plus for early arrivals like mine. I got there in the early morning and it was quiet and relaxing. By noon it started to fill up, but still didn't feel too chaotic. The noodle bar is a standout! It opens at 11am and stays open late. I tried the Pork and Shrimp Wonton and Taiwanese Cold Fried Noodles. Not restaurant quality, but honestly close. The noodles were firmer than I'm used to, but the flavor was good. (Didn't try the shumai.) There's also a small salad bar, scrambled eggs that were pretty solid, and some desserts--carrot cake, chocolate cake, and muffins. Hash browns were the only real miss: dry and undercooked. They also had Cheerios with milk, orange and apple juice, a soda selection, coffee machine, and even a full bar. Another big win: showers available! Since I came in early, I didn't have to wait. It wasn't the fanciest shower I've seen in a lounge, but it was clean, came with towels, and did the job. Wi-Fi was super fast, there were plenty of outlets, and the space had lots of seating options, from lounging to dining. A few TVs were playing the news, but not too distracting. Overall, a solid lounge experience. A few misses with food, but the 24/7 access, showers, noodle bar, and strong Wi-Fi made this a win for me. Would definitely come back!

I was looking forward to visiting the SkyTeam Lounge on my layover in Vancouver. Friendly staff (of course, it's Canada) and easy to find. Love how open and airy the lounge is. Got here around 10am. It was a moderately busy Friday morning. Plenty of breakfast options and strong Wi-Fi to get work done before the famous noodle bar opened at 11am. I was impressed by the amount of alcohol available, from a beer fridge to a wine bar. The noodle bar was also fun! The line gets long but moves fast. Check out their printed menu for the options that day. I got some sort of wonton soup with shu mai. The shu mai was okay, but the wonton soup was delicious. Overall delightful lounge experience.

the best perk of being a mastercard world elite member is the access to four airport lounges a year. this lounge is located at the international terminal, after security check, near boarding gate 53, in the west wing of the concourse. its available 24 hours, with a max stay of four hours. it was quite full when we arrived a little after 11:30 am on a wednesday. you check in, and then take an elevator up to the third or fourth floor. most seats were taken except for high bistro style chairs which weren't very comfortable. some of the seats are really ratty, i'm not exaggerating. in addition to serving a hot meal, wonton noodles and siu mai, there's also mini quiches, sandwiches, soups, and pasta. there's also a liquor bar. shower stalls seem to be available at this location, though i'm not sure if they were occupied or not in service during this visit.

A nice, if small lounge to while away a few hours. Small capacity and relaxed ambiance but also limited seating and facilities. I arrived around 3:30 for a 6:30 flight and found their lounge to be fairly quiet except for one seating area. To their credit they do have a few seating areas to explore. There are no magazines or tv offered for entertainment but plenty of places to plugin your phone or laptop and good lighting. Their service was a mixed bag. Early on I asked if one of their curries had seafood in it. It took almost ten minutes to get an answer - no exaggeration - only to find out it was vegetarian. Speaking of food, today they have a salad bar, some rice and noodles, a green curry and some chicken and pasta. The curry was nice and the mini cookies I tried were also delicious. Beer and soft drinks are in the fridge - self serve - and there's a separate bar area for wine and mixed drinks - though there's no sign posting to be found nor someone to greet you and get your acquainted. I did have my plates promptly removed and also felt safe enough to go to the buffet and leave my bags by my seat, so that's good. Overall, when it's quiet, it's a nice place to be, but busy I'm not sure I would pay the entrance fee - it's nothing special.

I would recommend coming to this lounge before your flight in YVR. You take an elevator to eat above on the second level there's some tables to eat at and comfy chairs to sit on. We got in using lounge pass and I thought it was a good buffet experience for breakfast they had taters, eggs and sausage. I also like that they had some Asian food like congee, shui mai, wonton noodle soup and dry like tan tan noodles but the Asian food was not that good, just not too flavourful. I did like the variety though and thought it was good experience for the first time especially if you are taking a long flight and come to the airport early. I enjoyed the desserts and drinks and just a place to sit and relax before your take off.

    Lots of Asian options.

The Skyteam Lounge has a lot of seating, though none of it is anything I'd want to lounge in for more than my meal when the rest of the airport has more comfy seating. It's open til 1, has a decent selection of Asian food, good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, and wasn't too crowded at night. It wasn't anything too amazing, but when the only other options are Subway with a line of 20+ people at night, this place is a nice option. Priority Pass is accepted.

The lounge is in a great location in the Vancouver airport. The food is fine and their selection of drinks are fine. There is a shower if you are interested in taking one, you need to check in with the staff. There is plenty of seating but the place can fill up.

    Great food

The food was excellent, great service, clean. I like it open and has good views of the airport. I will come back for sure.

    Seating area

What a disgrace of a lounge! Seats dirty, stained and torn. Food lacking imagination and sparse to say the least. Staff chatting and disinterested. Expected way better from a Lounge in Vancouver - needs a total overhaul!

Fish Ball and Wonton Noodle with Pork Dumpling (Shumai)
    Yan K.

The Food One of the unique thing about the SkyTeam Lounge in YVR I've rarely see is a noodle bar. The noodle bar has made to order noodle, so naturally I had to get it. It had the choice between fish ball or wonton, or a mix, so I opted for the mix. I also got the optional side of pork dumpling (shumai). It is actually not bad, the noodles and pork dumplings were properly done. The other selections of the lounge is also not bad. They have your typical drinks, food (hot and cold), snacks, and alcohol. The Lounge The SkyTeam Lounge is airside of international departure, after security near Gate 53. It is a spacious lounge with a view of the apron/tarmac. One good thing about this lounge is that it opens 24 hours daily, so is nice for super early or late flights. It has all the standard facilities along with computer and shower. It is worth stopping by here if you get a chance.

Unfortunately, this one didn't quite measure up. The overall experience felt a bit underwhelming. The space itself could definitely use some TLC -- the furniture looked worn and dated, and it gave off more of a tired, well-used vibe rather than a relaxing pre-flight retreat. One of the bigger misses for me was the lack of accessible power outlets, which is something you really come to rely on when traveling. That said, it wasn't a terrible stop -- just not quite what I've come to expect from premium lounge experiences (as its name would imply). With a refresh and a few updates, it could easily be brought back up to par. For now, it's serviceable, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to revisit.

I saw one that looked like a little cafe and there was no chance I was going to waste it there. After walking a bit I stumbled upon this one, walked a little further and didn't see another one so came here to kill a little bit of time. When I went to check in, I was told that I couldn't be here for more than 2 hours. I don't ever recall being told this in Asia at the Plaza lounges but that was fine. I checked in, took the elevator up and looked around. The area is actually pretty spacious but it's not obvious as there are a few different areas. The thing is, I think there was more people upstairs than there was areas to sit. I went to get a coffee and checked out what they were serving. They were serving breakfast but they were transitioning to lunch so I waited a little longer as the eggs, bacon and other items didn't look that great. When they rolled over the food items, I grabbed a plate of a few lunch items to sample. I had to walk around the area 2 or 3 times to finally find an open seat. I sat down and tried the plate I just put together. It was OK, nothing really stood out from it. They also offered some free drinks. I didn't really pay to much attention to it as I was satisfied with my coffee. There were a few TVs and there was a nice view overlooking the airport. The lounge looks a bit well used as some of the items look like it could use a refresh. Not the worst lounge but definitely nowhere as nice as some of the ones I've been to in the last couple of years.

I don't recall most international airport bars or foods; yet this remains a memorable spot. (those farewell moments may be more memorable and special here~) I enjoy chilling here for a drink or a bite before a flight because it feels more cozy here, and def more relaxed than the airport lounges inside security. The fireplace is a nice bonus plus you can sit by your view of choice and enjoy fine dining quality in a relaxed lounge setting. And sometimes there's live music at nights, which is my favorite part. Service here should be on par but unfortunately, it is not always on par with business VIP airport lounges, as this place can be under staffed or have a sick staff still working a shift. When the staff is new or sick and wearing a mask, they may forget to bring cutlery and be slow in getting to your table...Luckily, it's easier for one to take it easy and be patient here with its cozy vibes. This Jetside Bar can be casual, intimate, romantic, professional or even fun for people watching, depending on where you sit and which menu you choose, from its bar menu to dining menu to breakfast menu to dessert menu, etc. Solid dining option with good drinks and foods + flexible and adaptable to your occasions.
