Amazing place to workout with no judgement. The coaches are excellent at assisting with any specific issues. I have back pain and they will always help me modify exercises when needed. It's great to feel like part of a community instead of another face at a big gym. Small class coaching is so much more beneficial for those who aren't gym "experts." No matter the level of fitness, everyone can do this!! read more

Aion is fantastic! They offer hour-long, coach-led workout sessions in a friendly, low-stress, and encouraging environment. The workouts focus on building strength while improving stability and balance, and they're challenging without being intimidating. I genuinely feel better than I did when I started, and the results are noticeable--not just in how I look, but also in my strength and balance. Unlike many larger group fitness classes, the coaches pay close attention to your form to help prevent injuries and provide modifications when needed. There's no blaring music or atmosphere filled with people trying to show off--just supportive coaches and people focused on improving themselves. I've never been someone who enjoyed going to the gym, but I honestly look forward to my workouts at Aion. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. read more

I have been attending Aion and have had the opportunity to be trained / coached by George. He brings a lot of energy and encouragement to our class along with a sports of the week run down! read more

Everything was great until I had an accident at home and tore my quad. I actively reached out to let them know what happened but they continued to bill me fully knowing that I was on crutches and unable to attend training. They kept on wanting to have discussions with me instead of just canceling or pausing my membership until I get through rehabilitation. Beware before you sign up and make sure you don't injure yourself. read more

I spent the first 50 years of my life wavering between being active and fit, and overweight and sedentary. Weight Watchers had me losing weight and then gaining it all back, and then some. At 40, I tried a personal trainer who got me in great shape but weighed me weekly and shamed me whenever I gained a pound or two. Then, parenthood happened and I stopped exercising altogether. After the COVID pandemic, I could hardly make it up one flight of stairs. I was in the worst shape of my life, and scared for my future. But I always had an excuse: no time to work out, no way to fit it into my schedule. Then one day, I was walking down Colorado Boulevard when Aion Training's sign caught my eye. A gym for people 40+? And only a short walk from my workplace? I had no excuse not to try. From the moment I made contact, Marcus, the owner, was welcoming, non-judgmental, and had a straightforward sense of confidence that I could get fit and improve my life if I just... showed... up. Over the two years I've been a member, I've come to know the coaches and many of my fellow clients, and to appreciate the sense of community that's been created. The coaches have a positive energy and, during my semi-private (small group) workouts, there's an amazing level of personal attention to check my form, offer advice, and encourage me to push past where I was last week. It's a long game, and the folks at Aion Training know it. My plan is to be with them for the long haul. I highly recommend that you set up a consultation if this sounds like it could be a good fit for you. read more

The perfect gym for people 40+ that want to be strong in their everyday lives in a supportive environment that pays attention to working out safely. If you have any injuries they customize your workouts to address these issues. They strive for long term consistent goals not perfection. I highly recommend this gym and its amazing coaches! read more

The incredibly caring staff are invested in the wellbeing of the members. Plus they play 80s and 90s music - as part of their mix. The members are kindhearted as well. Love this gym! read more

10+++ I've hired several personal trainers over the years. Some ok, some a little better. But, nothing compares to the skill level and expert training I'm receiving at Aion. Marcus the owner is absolutely meticulous re his assessment of your abilities and goals. His trainers, Sean and Mike are just as meticulous. Honestly, I don't know how I lucked out and found such an amazing studio! Hah! Take that pandemic! I'm getting seriously over you with the help of this studio!!! read more

Shout out to Marcus, Shawn, Adam, Mike and the rest of the Aion Training Team - YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!! It's obvious how much thought and consideration you all put into running this gym and building a community. Most importantly, I can feel how you all genuinely care and want to help us all to feel better about our health. My personal gym experience: I haven't been to a gym in 20+ years. After 3 kids, Covid and diabetes, I had to stop slacking. My cousin and aunt introduced me to Aion when they had free tryouts during Mother's Day. I didn't know what to expect but I showed up, and Marcus was there on my first day. He knew my name, walked me through the types of exercises and we just chatted about my health goals. No hard sales pitch, just a fun person to talk to - I didn't even know he was the owner! Shawn, who is my main trainer, is a fantastic, knows his stuff (ELDOAs anybody?) and is always engaging and encouraging people. I have nerve damage in my neck and a pinched nerve for over a month. Shawn adjusted my workout and taught me different movements to loosen up my muscles. He also sends a positive, personal message after each workout. Just for you Shawn - "Shawn is the most handsome trainer!" Also due to my work schedule, travel and kids, I think I've tried every type of session they offer. I also circled through most the coaches, each with their own unique coaching style and music taste! Thank you Aion Training!! Keep up the great work! read more

I'm coming up on a year of training with Aion Fitness and coach Marcus has been great to work with. I know this helps so many people in so many different ways. I never could imagine waking up at 4:30 in the morning to workout 4x a week, but it's truly changed so much in my life. There's nothing like the feeling of accomplishment first thing in the morning to start your day on a positive note. If you're on the fence, Aion has promotions often to encourage new faces to come join us with no pressure. Thank you Coach! Proud of you and proud to be apart of this community. read more

Aion has been an amazing find! I went in wanting to strengthen my arms and legs to gain speed running. I got that two weeks in. BUT I got so much more from the owner, Marcus, the trainers, Mike and Shawn, and the Aion community. The classes are small and the trainers give detailed attention and teach techniques that give fast results, but also life-long skill sets. If you are looking for a community gym, where the people are friendly and welcoming, and the trainers are top-notch, Aion is your place. I am so happy I found Aion!!! read more

I'm surprised by how long it took someone to finally speak up. Hopefully this is the punch in the gut Marcus needed. You got to live and learn. So many clients and trainers left because they weren't happy with the direction Marcus is going. Gyms come and go and this one looks like it may go. Any gym owner or manager would try to keep their clients, but after he opened his own gym he decided to stop training people. WHO DOES THAT?!! Especially as a new gym. Marcus Completely stopped training all together and when a client decided to leave, he did nothing to try and find out what he could do better to keep them and make them happy. Instead he just continued not listening to his clients needs and let them go. He dropped the 5 am class which many of us who work later really enjoyed. He didn't care. He didn't want to be open Saturdays either. Of all the years I've been at a gym, Privately-owned or the standard 24 hr Fitness, this is the only one I've hated going to. The stupid plans that we had to look up on our phones that took so much time away from our workout was ridiculous. My current gym and gyms in the past always had the owner or a manager present. He would be there at 5 am every day training clients, working out himself, listening to clients needs. There is no membership or contract. We all pay for a certain amount of training sessions and we work out as many times as we need to. The equipment is always clean and fairly new. Doesn't have cockroaches crawling around. We all have our own trainer we've been assigned to when we 1st started. The trainer knows what body parts we need to work out on and has us do the exercises he choses, not us looking at our phones every 5 minutes figuring out what workout came next. Our trainer sets us up for the next exercise. THAT'S WHAT WE PAY THEM FOR!! The owner is always pushing us and posting positive stuff of IG and Facebook. He doesn't belittle his trainers either. If there is something that they need to improve on, like any other boss, he would talk to them privately and give constructive criticism. Marcus is young and doesn't get it. I suggest Marcus look into why other private gyms are so successful. Put in the hours blood sweat and tears, listen to your clients. Figure out a way to keep them happy. Just cuz you don't want to be up for a 5 am training session or not be open Saturdays isn't gonna keep your clients for long. I was one of the original clients that by he took over for after the original owner moved. He was promising in the beginning, but money and from what other current clients have said and are not happy about, is that he's using their money on a Pyramid Scheme and charging too much for mediocre workouts For new and current clients, look elsewhere. Don't waste your time and money. There are way better gyms out there that will work with you and be flexible and fit your needs whether it be 5 am workout or training on the weekends. Do your research, talk to other clients. If the turnover rate of clients and trainers is high and they won't meet your needs, take it as a Red Flag. read more

This place is a joke. The owner totally ignores his clients, never bothers to train them, always on pyramid scheme trips or he is in his office doing nothing important. Every other gym I was apart of, the owner was on the main floor coaching. Do the business side of your job on your own time, we didn't pay money to stare at a phone all day and barely have any interaction. Over 40? More like 80 years and older. Don't bother wasting money here. They always play bad music to workout too anyway. There's people that talk too much and cause distractions during the workout, if you want to talk go outside or do it when people aren't trying to lift weights. This gym is also bad because they only give you 2 days to miss, if you miss any more than that there's 900 hoops through, and you still don't get to make up those hours and get charged anyway. read more

Aion has been a breath of fresh air for my significant other and me. We knew we need to lose weight but the element of gaining strength (and all that would offer us) was not so clear for many years. We come twice per week (since early Feb 2022). we laugh, share our successes and our life's stories. There is a genuine positivity in this place - with the coaches and participants alike - that gained our trust and interest. I no longer have the debilitating back pain I tried to live with. My partner has fill shoulder range back (in her 60s!) and climbs stairs at work with her arms full! She no longer worries about falls. We feel better head to toe! The customized attention to our needs and a graded program of progression is very skillful. Lots of positivity and no ego-stroking needed with these coaches. These guys are great! read more

I can't recommend Aion and Coach Marcus highly enough! It's more than a gym, it's a family. Marcus has an infectious positive attitude and truly cares about all his clients. He does a great job of meeting people where they are and never makes you feel like you aren't doing enough. I'm not the stereotypical gym rat, and I still love coming to Aion. If you're looking for "not your average gym" where the coach will hold you accountable and so will the other clients, check this place out! read more

Marcus is always watching out for you. He is just the best! During Covid Marcus immediately had us on Zoom and being consistent. Not gaining weight during the past year and a half has been a huge relief and the strength training is amazing. I never thought at 60 I would be lifting weights, trap bar at 135lbs and bench pressing. I enjoy it way more than i thought I would. read more

The Aion Training community has been excellent for me. My goal when I joined Aion was to increase my muscle tone and flexibility. While I was not in bad shape, I was not working out regularly and the stress at work was taking its toll. Also, I was moving into Chapter Two (post 60 years old) so increased physical activity was the preventive maintenance I needed to keep moving. Marcus informed me that he could help me achieve my goals...and he did (and continues to do)! When working out with Aion, I don't feel like I am on this journey alone, as the program fosters an atmosphere of family and positive support. Marcus meets you where you currently are physically, and slowly brings you along to improve your fitness level. Although the workouts can be tough, his voice of encouragement (as well as my teammates) help me power through that last set of exercises. I never get the feeling that I'm not getting the instruction that I need to perform the exercises correctly and in a safe manner. The other thing I appreciate is the flexibility in the program scheduling. While no gym class schedule is perfect, the Aion programming make it difficult for the excuse, "I don't have time for exercise." There have been times where job responsibilities prevented me from making my a.m. class, but there was an afternoon/evening course that I could attend in its place. Also, the commitment to keeping us on track during the COVID crisis via ZOOM workouts and online chats was truly impressive and demonstrated a true commitment to help us maintain our fitness goals. I look forward to continuing this journey of self-improvement and I'm glad I have Aion Training keeping me on track. Thanks Marcus! -LW read more
