Like all the reviews say, this spot is beautiful. It has tall ceilings and is large and spacious. The service, however, was unbearably slow. We came on a Sunday for brunch and it wasn't crowded. We waited very long to order and to pay. Maybe this is a staffing issue but, the bad service is very noticeable. Usually bad service doesn't bother me, but we were at the restaurant for 2 hours, mostly waiting to get our order taken and then waiting to pay. I honestly don't understand why anyone would recommend this place. I ordered the eggs Benedict. It was alright, nothing to write home about. The burger was just ok. Realistically, the food looks like it came from the diner...

The ambiance is beautiful. The manager really was the high point of the visit to be honest. She was polite attentive and offered remedies to mistakes made. She's relatable and a true professional. It's clear that she cares about the businesses and customers Now onto the three star rating. As I mentioned the ambiance is beautiful. It's holiday season so the establishment reflected that. We made revelations which I highly suggest especially for brunch which is clearly popular They were kind enough to seat my other party as I was running late. He placed my order and it was out just as I arrived. I ordered steak eggs with cheese. It came with fries and greens. The food was a 5/10 nothing memorable. I also ordered pancakes topped with ice cream. The best part was the ice cream. My other ordered pizza which he stated was tasty. We tried to take advantage of the brunch special which was quoted differently than what we charged. When the bill came it was almost a 70 dollar upcharge. We were not told the fine print at the time of ordering. Again the manager remedied the situation. Though she could not discount the correct bill it was suggested a comp in the future. Unfortunately I won't be back. Aesthetically the place is great. The bathrooms are clean and I will mentioned it all gendered multiple stalls which caught me by a serious surprise. It led to confusion with a lot of other guests but the individual closed stalls made up for it. Located near tons of public transportation

Great brunch spot! One of the best deals for bottomless brunch and the drinks (peace Bellini, mimosa, hard iced tea) are actually great. All the pastas are DELICIOUS, but pizzas needs more flavor. My biggest issue with the place is the service. I believe they hire many new servers and they don't know proper serving etiquette. There were MANY times where food is being served and they almost hit my friends right in the face. Better training is much needed!

Ainslie is a Italian Restaurant that can also serve as an event space. Ainslie at this location is in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, which is w/ in walking distance from the G & L Train. The Chain x Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey's "Pie Hard: A Friendsgiving" Event was held at Ainslie on 11/20/25. The event set-up at Ainslie was beautiful w/ gorgeous decor. Ainslie has multiple rooms as well as a bathroom on the first fl. & one downstairs. The "Pie Hard: A Friendsgiving" Event included food & drink pairings, a photo booth area, a DJ & a brief band performance & a Thanksgiving Trivia Game which was hilarious. Pairings were Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey Cocktail Shots w/ Mini Thanksgiving Pies crafted by Chain. Skrewball Cocktail & Mini-Pie Pairings: 1.) Came here for a birthday party so the menu was already preselected. The staff was very attentive which I really appreciated because we were a huge group and they were super patient with us with all our drink orders and whatever else we requested on the side. The place was super cute and looked like we were dining in the middle of a greenhouse. No, on to the food, we started off with the Arancini which was nicely crispy and reminded me of an elevated mozzarella stick which I thought was super delicious. We also had the Calamari Fritti which we all enjoyed and devoured very quickly. On top of those appetizers, we had a classic Caesar which is your basic Caesar salad. Now moving on to the mains. We got a Cacio e Pepe which was a table favorite. It was nice and buttery and they gave us a huge bowl of Parmesan cheese on the side making the pasta very creamy. We also got a couple classic margarita pizzas which were very nice because it had a thin crust and a good amount of cheese on top. My absolute favorite was the French toast which was nice and crispy on the outside and so soft and fluffy on the inside. The maple syrup was great as well. I will be back one day to try the other dishes on their menu because after we finished all of the preselected food, we were all too full to order more and try more dishes.

First off ambiance, so chill & beautiful. Music playing at a decent volume. Perfect lighting. Staff kind, friendly & timely. Food delicious. This is my second visit. My wife has been here multiple times without a bad experience. Price is what you'd expect. Two thumbs up!

We had brunch here today and it was divine! Our server Jasmine was fantastic! She was so funny, charming; and knew the menu back to front. I had the espresso martini, and it's probably the best one I've had at brunch in forever! The French toast is incredible. We also did the meatballs (interesting pair on our end) but we loved it!! Ambiance inside is amazing. Super spacious and a really vibe. They had a DJ for brunch and it was great!! Perfect volume and the music was really good. We will definitely be back (a lot)

Brunch Flop! Came here on Memorial Day for brunch. As soon as we stepped in I noticed there wasn't anyone at the hostess stand. So I proceeded to walk to the bar area to greet the rest of my party. We then walk back to the hostess area where there is now a young woman standing. I explain we have reservations, she's silent for a while then motions for us to follow her. We were seated and after 10mins our waiter approached. The energy here was horrible. Service was horrible. Food was horrible. I went with the Brunch Burger which I requested to be cooked well done. The burger was medium at best. I showed the waitress, she asked if I wanted another burger or anything else and I declined. She did comp the burger from the bill. I was unimpressed with the entire experience.

Went here on a Monday at 6 PM with some friends. It's conveniently located close to the G/L trains. The restaurant is tucked away on a smaller street that is very quiet at night, though it's worth noting that the walk there doesn't have much lighting and is quite dark. Note on seating: They won't seat your party until at least two people have arrived. The first thing you notice is how pretty and clean the space is. It's quite large with lots of seating and a great bar area, but even with the high ceilings, the noise level was good-- But also because it wasn't fully packed even by 8 PM (likely because it was a Monday). A solid spot for a group hang or date. Happy Hour: The oysters were a highlight--very fresh with two sauces. The wings were a bit under-seasoned, and the tequila (non-alcohol) in the martini tasted a bit "off" on the first sip, but settled after. Mains: The Honey Pizza is a must-order & was recommended by our waiter. It's thin-crust and delicious. The Penne Alla Vodka was cooked al dente; if you prefer a softer noodle, keep that in mind. Skip the Caesar salad; it was nothing special and I've had better elsewhere. Dessert: We shared the 10" Nutella pie. It arrived warm and luckily wasn't overly sweet. Service was good and the restrooms were clean.

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous inside- very spacious and airy. We came in a Saturday for brunch. there was a DJ playing great housy music and the crowd is pretty young and hip. Now for the food, I feel like the food is mediocre but relatively affordable. I think it's a spot that you would go to for the vibes/ambiance and not the actual food.

So first of all, love the vibe and atmosphere of this rustic space. The restaurant is huge with various rooms and floors, yet creating an intimate and cozy space. It's a mix of Italian cuisine with wood-fired pizza and housemade pasta paired with a wine bar and beer garden --a little bit of everything for everyone. I came here with a group of 7, so we had an array of dishes to share. We also came here 10 minutes before happy hour ended, which was such a good deal. For drinks, the happy hour was a bit limited with some beer and wine. I had the I'm Golden cocktail ($11), which just tasted like juice in a wine glass --didn't really care for this that much. For starters, we had the Meatballs ($7), Arancini ($7), Wood Fired Rosemary Wings ($8), and House-Cut Fries ($5). Great options to share for happy hour. I enjoyed the flavor on the wings a lot although still pricey at $2 per wing with during HH price. There is also 3 selections of 10" Pizzas for only $8 each and we got one of each. The Margherita and Saltimbocca were good, but we all thought the overload of arugula on the Rucola was too much. The pizza is cut into 4 slices, but it was difficult when we tried cutting it ourselves; it's a bit chewy and doughy. From the happy hour menu alone, we were all pretty full already. Luckily, we shared three different pastas: Housemade Lasagna ($23), Orecchiette ($21), and Penne Alla Vodka ($20). The lasagna was delicious, but a bit more petite which was harder to share for our group. The other two were classics --saucy and creamy. Since it was a Monday, the Ainslie Burger ($23) was 50% off, so we also ordered that too. The burger isn't anything special, but a really good deal if you're here on a Monday. Plus, it comes with fries too! Definitely recommend coming here for happy hour --the food deals are great! Also, love the space which is perfect for date night or large groups. The happy hour is only offered for the front bar and wine bar, but the back room is gorgeous. It feels very romantic with all the string lights, but it was closed on the night we came. Also, would come back for their brunch and bottomless cocktails for a fun time.

I hosted a joint birthday party here yesterday for 15 people. I booked the "chefs call" option…read morewhich is a wine and food pairing. After having a tough time scheduling via email, I was put in touch with the manager, Jordan, who was helpful! We had 3 people in our group who wanted non-alcoholic wine pairings (two sober people and one pregnant person) and we were told they would accommodate us. I also informed Jordan of the allergies in our group. One person was dairy/gluten free, and two others had shellfish allergies. She assured me this would be no issue. We arrived on time yesterday, and everything went downhill from there. First, our waiter seemed to hate us from the very start. He introduced himself, asked who the birthday people were (and then didn't say happy birthday), and then said all of us would be having non-alcoholic drinks. When we said that only 3 people wouldn't be drinking, and the rest of us were going to (hopefully) be consuming regular wine, he rolled his eyes and told us "that's the note he received." Then, a woman came from behind the bar and said she would help us for now but "she's really supposed to be behind the bar." Every single time the waiter came to our table, he asked us who was drinking alcoholic drinks and who was drinking non-alcoholic drinks. He couldn't remember the 3 N.A. people after 6 or so courses and pairings. We were one of two tables in the entire restaurant. Singling out sober people consistently for 3.5 hours is....a choice. The first wine pour occurred and several people at the table were skipped. When we asked for those people to get their pours, the waiter inspected their glasses to ensure that they hadn't already been poured and wanted more wine. You mess up and were accused of trying to sneakily get more? Offensive and awkward. Our first course came out 20 minutes after our wine. It was a really nice charcuterie board with an assortment of cheese, jam, honey, and meat. It was beautiful (and the best part of the entire experience), however, because it was one large board and not a few smaller boards, we actually had to stand up and bring the board from one side of the table to the other in order to share. Bizarre. What is even more bizarre is that it came with no crackers. 25 minutes after the cheese and meat was served, we received crostini which was good, but 25 minutes too late. Our next course was more bread with cheese. Then, marinated mushrooms in an endive cup. Then, a salad. Not clear why the salad came 4th and my guests started to grow concerned (as did I) that we would never get a hot food course. While the courses and wine were served, NEVER ONCE did anyone tell us what wine we were drinking or why they paired the wine with the course. Additionally, when we asked what course was coming next or how many were left, no one knew the answer. At this point, we had been there 3 hours and wanted to leave. My guests were literally planning where to go out to eat after this so they could feel full. We asked what was coming next and if we could potentially speed up the service, they told us again that they didn't know. Finally, hard roast beef sandwiches came out along with chicken bites that allowed each guest to have a single bite. One waiter told us they were buffalo bites, another told us they were soy glazed. I think they were soy glazed? I guess I'll never know. They were dry with no dipping sauce. IMPORTANTLY, when serving the chicken bites to our gluten free guest, the waiter told her they were gluten free because "the fryer they use is so hot it burned the gluten off." When she politely said that's not how it works, he rolled his eyes and walked away. It's a MIRACLE no one in our group was served something they were allergic too. I guess it's a good thing much of the food never came. Desperate to leave, we asked them to give us back our dessert we brought (cupcakes) and to get us the check. At this point, I was fighting tears. I was embarrassed that my entire party seemingly had a bad time and that we were being treated so poorly. The hostess seemed to recognize how upset I was (despite me trying to hold it in) and offered us an ADDITIONAL COURSE. I told her thank you, but we cannot spend another hour and a half waiting for it (we left before the last course, I have no idea what it would have been or how much longer we would have to stay for two more courses). They ended up giving us $100 off which was a nice gesture but truly insufficient to remedy what was a really embarrassing experience. Gratuity of 20% was mandated despite the unacceptable service and I didn't fight it. I just wanted to get out of there. I toured this place as a potential wedding venue for my upcoming wedding and was very close to booking it. I'm grateful to have had this experience to easily rule it out. TLDR - This place is not equipped to handle a large party or any party at all. The staff needs immense training or someone could be seriously injured.

Bouquet is a small business that hasn't promoted much on Instagram or Eater, so it seems to have gone under the radar. I'm hoping I can do it justice as the first reviewer on this platform. We stumbled upon Bouquet during a mini bar crawl in Greenpoint. We initially planned to hit a few spots, but ended up settling in here for most of the night. We were mostly served by Eric who I believe was the owner operator. He's a NYC native who is super passionate about wine. The wine bar focuses on natural wines and other wines which emphasize minimal additives. The goal here seems to be to sell from producers who try to capture magic in a bottle. The wine list is three pages, so it's long but still approachable. There are about ten wines available by the glass. I started with a Montelpuciano. I sampled a bit and found it to be gassy and funky. The bartender was receptive to my feedback and made another recommendation - a different wine from the Loire Valley. The second option was more of what I was looking for. It was a more structured wine with a more traditional palate. I decided to eventually circle back to the Montelpuciano for my second glass. I'm stubborn and like to give a different flavors a chance to grow on me. I'm a person who doesn't like blue cheese but continually tries it just to make sure. The aroma of this wine was minerally. The best description I have is an Iron adjacent smell. Almost like blood but not the same. The flavor was earthy and rooty. It was the best part of the wine. It had a short finish. I'm no wine expert, but I can tell I was tasting something special. The last time I had wine like this was at a wine making competition. I also tried some of the wine on draft. It was an easy going wine that you could easily have a few of. We didn't have any food, but it seemed like the signature of the menu was their smash burgers. They also had some small bites like fries, cheese, olives, charcuterie, and salads. The other big items were schnitzel and the Rigatoni Alla Vino. The operator said the Rigatoni was an ode to a dish from Don Peppe's - a locals' favorite Italian restaurant in Queens. The space is welcoming. It part of the new wave of wine bars that aren't stuffy. It's about trying fun and experimental wines. Young stuff. Not necessarily hawking out for carefully aged vintages. It's fun and the team is very hospitable. Music is what I'd expect from a Queens local. Lots of 90s and 2000s hip hop. Playlist was filled with A Tribe Called Quest, Talib Kweli, and Common. They have some big speakers and turntables for vinyl records. They had a new record from Future which I suppose is something to boost for audiophiles. Acoustics here were as good as any listening lounge that we've been to in NYC. Entertainment wise, they have some board games behind the bar. No TVs inside the bar, but they have a projector in the backyard which can be used for special events. Two gender neutral restrooms. The one I used was handicap accessible. There is a step to enter the establishment, but they have a button to press in order to request assistance with entry. Good luck to Bouquet! They'll certainly be my go to for wine in Greenpoint.
