We decided to grab dinner here last minute on Saturday night of our trip to Beacon. This seemed…read morelike a great option because it meant that my husband and I could order different meals but still eat them together. There were only 5 different food stalls plus the ice cream stall in the very front, however only 3 of the food stalls were open at 7pm on a Saturday. This is a small town, so I get it, but I was thoroughly surprised at this because of how crowded the entire town had been all weekend (it was truly the perfect weather to be out here!). The taco food stall had some Mac and cheese that I really wanted, but he was so overwhelmed with making a large order with only one person helping him that he literally told me to come back in 30 minutes to place my order. I ended up ordering the Pimento Grilled Cheese Sandwich from the burger place, where the guy (working solo) told me it would take about 30 minutes before it would be ready. We were in no rush, and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait!! The ooey gooey cheese paired with perfectly browned Texas toast satisfied my hunger after a long day of hiking and window shopping. My husband ordered the Paneer Kati Roll + Mango Lassi from the Indian food stall. He liked the roll, however we both decided that the lassi was average at best. Additionally, they served it with ice which was a huge disappointment (**being that my husband is from India, we have standards regarding Indian food). I'm giving 4 stars because the overall atmosphere of this food hall was not the best... Definitely NOT enough seating... They didn't seem to have anyone on staff taking care of the place, so the two tables that were empty when we arrived were extremely dirty (we cleaned one ourselves). They also didn't have napkins readily available and only 2 individual restrooms, despite having a bar in the back. Also, it was SO DARK inside... Scarce lighting which was not very pleasant or welcoming, especially since the sun was shining brightly outside. There is an outdoor patio, which is great, however because the weather was nice it was completely full. Final thoughts: this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner with a group of friends, especially if no one can agree on where to go. There's a variety of options and something for everyone to enjoy!

Small Mexican food restaurant with a huge selection of vegan options…read more I don't eat any dairy and there were tons of options for me to choose between on their vegan menu. It wasn't just 1 or two options. It was more like 10-15 options. However if you aren't vegan there are many non-vegan options for you as well. I got a quesadilla with vegan cheese and chicken and chips with salsa and guac. All of which were very tasty and very filling. The inside of the restaurant is filled with bright colors and interesting art. The food is made very quick. It's not a conventional restaurant with waitresses or waiters mind you. You order at the front counter and if you are eating in they will bring it to your table.

It's great they have everything I need to customize my food. Service was friendly and on point. Roast chicken empanada was very good, plenty of well seasoned chicken and not overly salty with mild heat. Steak taco was good, though kind wish the steak was middle since medium well is bit chewy, onions and green bell peppers were stewed perfectly. Mexican street corn was bit salty, but well seasoned and covered in cheese, I will add other places don't give you a whole cob of corn like they do here and I respect that. Prices here are also very cheap and affordable considering how trendy beacon is, it's a relief a place is fair to its customers.

On our way to Resorts World wanted to have some Spanish food before trying our luck at casino…read more Saturday night around 8 only one other table was occupied. We were greeted and said we could sit anywhere and told no yellow rice and chorizo. Except for decor a mural of Old San Juan nothing authentic but we are here for the food. Ordered chorizo and maduros Empanadas appetizer tripeleta sandwich with side of tostones. Wife had Mofongo with shrimp. Empanada was really good never had that combo before so good start. Triplelta is steak pork and chicken and super soft hero/pan bread. Nice flavor tostones were big and were accompanied by a garlic white sauce. I like just ajo in oil which they did not have. Wifes mofongo was a little salty as were the jumbo shrimp in white sauce. She did receive a wonderful citrus dressing which she used on the little salad which she loved. We took most of it home since we were not looking to fill up prior to the casino. Saw a few people order takeout not sure if that makes up a large part of business or not. My wife and I have been in hospitality for 30 years and if you see a new face wouldn't you want to welcome them and thank them for trying out the restaurant? I think so. Not sure if it was owner or manager but he spoke to the one other table throughout our meal. I think he missed an opportunity to talk with us about our experience. Waitress spoke only English which is stark contrast to every Spanish restaurant in Brooklyn where we lived for 30 years. My wife is Puerto Rican so she was looking for that connection to no avail. So to close the food was decent but not sure I would make the trip back. We will keep trying til we find a real Spanish restaurant.

These had a lack of that, The alcapuras were nice and crispy and had flavor, but one seasoning used was unfamiliar, and they didn't need to add it. As per my sofito burger that had avocado, fried cheese, some sort of aioli really wasn't a marriage for me. It did not all go together. The ground meat was too thick and bland. I guess if you're starving, it'll taste good. Yuca fries were thick and hard. My husband's entree was better tasting but wasn't hot. The parcha juice was a 10/10.
