I love this style of restaurant--order at the front, and seat yourself wherever you want. Was in the area with my boyfriend and I have always wanted to try this spot and everything we had was delicious! The hostess and bartender were also so kind. We were in a hurry so it was nice that we good our food relatively quickly, but we will definitely come back to try some more items off the menu! read more

Super cute spot for date night. Parking was a bit rough on a Sat night bc all the lot spaces for the camp were taken but we were able to secure some street parking. The line to order was super long so we just went to the upstairs bar for some drinks and were able to order takeout at the bar, which allowed us to skip the main line to order! Food and drinks were delicious. The space is super vintage and curated. Will definitely be back! read more

Lizzie was the best server ever. Her energy was infectious and was genuinely so sweet to all !!! Made me feel welcome.

AhbA is located in the Camp/Lab Anti-Mall. Came here on a Thursday night for their live jazz night! The music was great, and the aesthetics were lovely. The burger and spicy fries were absolutely delicious; robust in flavor. Just a heads up that you order at the register, so it might be wise to read up on the menu beforehand. While parking is free, it was quite hard to find during this busy time. read more

Sat at the bar on Sunday for brunch. Group of 4. When my order showed up I waited and waited for the other three meals to arrive before I asked and it was explained to me that it is very normal for their diners to not eat together since food frequently comes out separately. If that's ok with you, you might like this place. The food was certainly decent. Brunch was $160 2 Bloody Marys, 2 coffee drinks. A decent amount of money for the experience of not eating together. In their defense they did take my plate back to the kitchen. read more

Had the best Caesar salad with salmon!! Great service! Great food!!! Olivia, the first person you meet to order is so personable and helpful! Loved it! Manager was awesome! Sat at the bar! Bartenders were also great! Can't wait to go back! read more

The gist of the restaurant is you order at the very front and then seat yourself. If it's presumed to be a busy night, make a reservation or claim a spot early. My friends and I (about 10 of us who slowly came trickling in) managed to snatch a wide wooden outdoor booth right at the entrance. I ordered what I believe were chickens skewers with a type of blue cheese ranch dressing that was so delicious, and some type of spritzer that was very strong. I personally couldn't finish it since I had a long day of hopping from spot to spot already, but it was still pretty good. Service was quick regardless of our party size, and hospitality was excellent. Thank you AhbA for a lovely Friday night! read more

I'm tired of places asking for tip before the service... and mind you they gave mediocre service.. all the man did was give us her dish. Never asked any follow up questions that were refilled my water. None of that in our tip starts at 18%. read more

Very yummy burger and fries! I also had their Ahba Spritz. It had a very good flavor - more sweet and less bitter than typical spritzes. It was a bit loud inside so we sat out on the patio. You order at the front desk and then they bring the food to your table. So, if you needed anything you had to find a waitress/waiter or ask the front. Other than that the restaurant had an overall mix of chill and sophisticated vibes. read more

Parking is in a shared lot & had no issue finding any. I love the Ahba in Laguna and this one is cute as well. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Want to come back and sit on the rooftop seating because I heard there was live music. Service was fast & friendly. I got chicken lollipops & the Te Culpo cocktail. Both were tasty. Would definitely come back again! read more

I've had this place bookmarked for a bit and was finally able to come check this spot out. This is a cute little order at the front and it's first come first pick for seating. We came on a Saturday evening and it was pretty busy, luckily we were able to find a table pretty quick. The host up front was really friendly and helped guide us with some popular items. Of course we ordered the smash burger. I had mine with a Caesar which i spotted someone else munching on and it was pretty delish, lots of sauce! The burger was a perfect smash burger, i didnt realize there were some peppers in there which had a slight kick to it if you like spicy! This spot is a cute casual dinner where if you come with friends before hitting the bars around would be a great spot. read more

Overall a good spot for yummy eats and great drink vibe (pretty casual in my opinion, but a nice eatery). You order ahead and then sit down, the menu has some pretty tasty sounding options. I went for the burger and fries which did not disappoint. Juicy burger with awesome side condiments and the spicy garlic fries were a must. I grabbed a marg as well and *chefs kiss to that* it paired for an enjoyable evening. Staff was friendly upon us ordering and they bring your food to your table and assist if needed. Bonus was definitely upstairs at the bar, just getting to enjoy that space was great in itself, plus the added speakeasy feel was really fun. read more

My food was good, I got the braised lamb. The strange thing that happened, was that they said they could no longer seat us for "Customer safety concerns" and that they were going to close the restraunt, then a little bit later they said it was a "false alarm" and took us off the big table, and moved us too a little table, even though no one ever came to the bigger table, bizarre ... never had this happen to me in my 67 years of life read more

Kinda expensive but you're paying for the vibes, decently tasty food, and casual service. * Brussel sprouts (5/5) * Ahba burger (3/5) - subjective but I'm happier w an In N Out double double * Side of fries w Ahba burger (4/5) - tastier than In N Out's though, a little oversalted It's worth a try with friends or by yourself. read more

Super quick service. If it is your first time, heads up that the service is different: You order food at the front kiosk with a hostess. If you want alcoholic you order at the bar, although you can get soda and tea from the front. They have self serve water and food will be brought out to you (you will be given a number for your table). You can also pick out your own table inside or out and they have a rooftop. read more

Ahba was an interesting experience. The food was pretty decent, very cheesy. and the drinks were good. When we got there - all the employees were too busy gossiping or on their phone to tell us the ordering process. When we asked, we were told it was 'free seating' but they did not tell us to order at the register. We never got any menus until we asked over 10 minutes later. It was not a very welcoming environment. The restaurant was cute though - I can see why its viral on social media, but the customer service could use work. read more

I tried AhbA for the first time for a lunch meeting. The atmosphere and decor are great! I like their inside or patio seating and they even have a beautiful bar. It is interesting that they have you order at the host stand and then find a table. It seemed a bit strange, because it really seemed like a sit down place. This was mildly off-putting because as a first timer, I had no clue what I wanted and needed to take a little time with the menu. Our service was great. The food for me was just ok. We ordered an appetizer, 2 non-alcoholic drinks and 3 meals and it came out to $95. That's a lot for an order at the front type of place. I got the Caesar salad and for me it was not my favorite. It was way too fishy for my liking, but I know that is personal preference. If I came here again, I'd like to try another time, like breakfast or dinner. read more

The vibes and food here are great! Highly recommend the ahba burger of course! I came once and it was out of stock and went for the chicken sandwich. The burger is definitely the way to go! The service was great considering it is a more causal approach where you have to go up and order your food and take a number, get your own water etc. It's a great spot for you and the girls to get together! Highly recommend read more

I've only ordered the smashburger so far, but I have done so several times, and each time Ahba just hits, if you're in the mood for a slightly elevated smashburger. Not exactly in-n-out (which produces, as we all know, the OG smashburger) prices, but I suppose $20 burger is justified on occasion due to the addition of the delicious homemade aioli and thyme fries. Both the CM and Laguna locations feature a cute, homey ambiance with mismatched vintage furniture. The CM location is tucked away in the Lab, while the Laguna location is a little more easily found, along a stretch of the PCH in SoLag. Will return in the future to try other items on the menu! And I would like to add - I (and Ginger) do appreciate how pet-friendly Ahba is, even inside the restaurant. read more

Came to AhbA for happy hour to grab a quick bite with a friend. Service was horrible from the hostess to server, and no one who worked here seemed interested in taking our order or providing any hospitality which is really disappointing. Our food was decent, but was not served hot. Our Diet Cokes were not cold and seemed barely chilled. While AbhA has a cute, well decorated space, the environment that their staff creates is cold and unwelcoming. read more

I decided to try AhbA because I heard it was very popular. I ended up getting the pita sandwhich with lamb and it was delicious, although a tad pricy. I was a bit confused when I was charged an extra $2 for the lamb on it as it did not say there was an additional charge on the menu. The vibe was great, I loved the different furniture and they usually play good music as well. Alright, this place is bomb y'all. We were unsure about what to get and had to ask the server what would be best to get, and she recommended getting the burger and fries as the first choice. So my wife and I both ordered the burgers with spicy garlic and regular fries. We also ordered the cucumber salad to keep that summer bod, ya know. Now, burgers. These things were fire and had some serious flavor and heat! Found out there were some chilis or peppers in the burger that were not overwhelming and added a good bite! Great taste and moist beef, cheese perfectly melted. Again, these were some solid burgers with great ratio. If they were like 25% bigger, it would easily be a 10/10. The fries were fire as well. Good flavor and a good little aioli sauce that they came with! Honestly, the cucumber salad was the biggest shock and truly a bomb salad. Would DEFINITELY recommend it to others and suggest it as a good vibey burger joint! The place has a cool style and fun bathroom disco dancing! Gotta see it to believe it! read more

Love this place! The AhbA Burger with a side Caesar salad is literally the best with their house hot sauce! We also quenched our thirst with Mimosas, limoncello, and my fave the AhbA SPRITZ!! Sooo good!! Went here for brunch with friends, and we had such a great time with our server Brittany. She was sooo sweet and attentive! The only disadvantage is that I suggest dining indoors, as there were numerous baby flies flying around that entered our beverages and were drawn to our body odor. I trust that management will address this issue. However, I still love this place! read more

Ahba is an LA-inspired restaurant, with a variety of dishes on their menu. The restaurant vibe is really cute and modern. I shared the lamb and labneh which was good but not amazing; the chicken lollipops which weren't super flavorful but had a nice char; the sweet potatoes which were solid; and my favorite part, the burger. Ahba is known for having the best smash burger in Orange County, and I definitely think it's a contender. The flavor combination is amazing and the patty melts in your mouth. Even their fries are really good. For drinks, the strawberry marg is a fav. read more

It's such a cute spot & love how casual it is! I got the burger with the fries and it was so delicious! The Caesar salad and wings were also delicious. The drinks were amazing and I'd definitely come back. It's a casual place so you order first and grab a table but a perfect spot to get dinner with friends or even a date. One of the best finds of the year for me. My husband's company gifted a gift card here at the year end holiday party. We came to eat on a weekday right when they opened at 11 am. First, you order & pay at the front door and you can choose wherever you want to sit. All the servers were so welcoming and friendly. Once you step in, it's a beautiful space. Ahba really knows how to set a vibe. There are a lot of plants and the feel is cozy and fun. The bathrooms have fun lights. It's a great spot to come with friends. There is a long table that could fit a big group, bench seating against the wall, round tables, bar seating, and 2 outdoor seating areas. Tables have napkins and tableware in a can. Water is self-served at the espresso bar. Drinks: Their coffee is amazing!! My husband had the brown sugar cinnamon latte and I had the spiced pear latte. Sooooo good. Food: - Hummus ($15) - Dense bread-like pita that soaks up the hummus well. It comes with a spicy sauce and date paste. Unique flavors and tasty! Comes with a lot of hummus so good for sharing. - Pita sandwich w/ braised lamb ($15) - Lamb was tender and well-seasoned and the dish was gorgeously plated on olive oil. The tzatziki sauce goes so well with the spices in the lamb. - Lobster roll ($32) - Crisp buttered bread goes so well with their garlic aioli. The rosemary fries are SO good - perfect crunch & the scent is amazing. Bonus: There is wifi for guests so we ended up staying after our meal to work on our laptops for a bit. read more

Cute bar/casual lounge to grab drinks and a bite with friends. Located in The Camp, they have a main floor restaurant/bar and also a rooftop. When we visited they were hosting a private party on the rooftop so unfortunately we weren't able to see it but will definitely be back another time for that! During this visit we just grabbed drinks however as other tables were being brought their food, it looked delicious! You order everything at the front with the hostess, pay, and are then provided a table number to take inside with you where you seat yourself. Also, they have a full bar so you can order drinks outside of what is presented on their menu. I ordered an espresso martini and they did not disappoint! If you're in the area this is a cute spot to catch up with friends! I can't wait to check out their rooftop soon! read more

This restaurant is really cute and I heard a lot of great things about it so I was excited to try it. I did not like that. You have to order at the hostess stand. That gives you no time to read the menu because people are behind you waiting to order as well, we asked her what her favorite things were and all she said was the chicken sandwich so we got that. We also got the burger they give you a number and you have to see yourself. I don't really like that kind of concept for a restaurant where a burger is $18 and doesn't come with anything else. We ordered wine and that came first. Their wines are really good and you can tell that they really know wines. The burger came next and although juicy, I didn't care for that flavor. It was sort of like a spicy cheesy sauce. The chicken sandwich came last and there was her flavor, but it lacked salt or really anything to make it delicious. I'm bummed I didn't like this place better because. read more

Conveniently located inside the Camp, AhbA is a cute spot to grab brunch with friends. You order at the front then pick your seat. We went Sunday at noon and had no issue finding a table for four inside, but the patio was full. We ordered from the lunch menu and tried the AhbA burger with garlic fries and fried chicken sammie with spicy/cajun fries. Absolutely love Ahba. Every time I go, the food is consistently amazing. The burger is one of the best I've had, the chicken sandwich is incredible, and the mac & cheese is a must-order. The cocktails are great, the orange wine is delicious, and the vibe is always perfect for grabbing a drink, sharing some food, and hanging out with friends. Also, a huge shoutout to Brianna. AhbA has been trending crazy on TikTok so my friends and I went to go try it on impulse today! And I'm not disappointed! It was really good I enjoyed how the burgers tasted, the grilled onions and the peppers tie in on the smokiness flavors it's meant to give and their yellow sauce is a nice addition to dip your burger or French fries in. Although the burger gets a little bit toooo meaty like my friends and I were thinking about getting a salad after this because it was carb overload :3 anyways, our burgers came out really fast but in a good way like it tasted well! The instead is really nice too oh my gosh it's so aesthetic and I like the variety of seating you can choose from like outdoors indoors and upstairs, every detail is pretty thoughtful in here read more

The food truly was great but that's where the positives end. The service was frankly unacceptable. When my group arrived, the hostess stood right in front of us scrolling on her phone for several minutes while we waited to even be acknowledged. Not a greeting, not a "one moment", nothing. Just complete disregard. When our food was finally brought out, the girl who served us had such an attitude that it made everyone at the table uncomfortable. She was cold, dismissive, and clearly didn't want to be there. It's honestly shocking how unprofessional the staff was. It's a shame, because the kitchen clearly knows what they're doing, but the front-of-house staff completely kills the experience. If management doesn't fix the service, I don't see myself coming back or recommending this place to others. read more

AhbA is a VIBE. If you're looking for an aesthetic restaurant with quality bites, this is your spot. I originally tried their breakfast at their Laguna location a year ago and was so excited once I heard they were opening up the CM location. Conveniently located at The Camp, nooked away in the corner, you're transported into a quirky, stylish and carefully curated dining spot. I love ordering at the front and having the option to self seat in a location that suits your needs. EATS: * smash burger - recommend * roasted chicken dish - recommend * chicken sandwich - bland, don't recommend * breakfast burrito - recommend * French toast - recommend * American traditional breakfast - recommend DRINKS: You can enjoy a drink at the bar downstairs or make your way upstairs to their swanky outdoor bar, Buzz! They also offer a full coffee bar. Great spot for date night, friend meet up or a group! They have a raw bar on Fri and Sats and sometimes offer tacos upstairs at the bar. I love bringing family and friends here and I hope you do too! read more
