I think I prefer the one in Laguna because the service is better. I think the food is actually better as well. This one actually seems like the food was just kind of thrown together in prep. Service was nonexistent. Service wasnt very attentive, so I'm pretty sure that experience had a lot to do with how my food tasted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It just didn't feel right. Don't get me wrong the place looks cool but everyone feels distant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would rather go to the one in laguna for sure. That one is amazing and everyone is super friendly.

Came here on Saturday for a quick bite with family. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute spot at the Camp plaza.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was really tasty. You order first and find a seat so it's pretty quick service. I saw a lot of different parties, some couples, a big group of friends and a few families. They really accommodate to all.

Tried Ahba for the first time recently and came for brunch. I love the vibes inside and on the patio, great ambiance for sure. The food came out fast and it was fire! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because parking is horrendous, and it is a bit more pricy for the portion sizes you get. I would recommend this place if you have ample time because parking will add extra 20+minutes to find, and if you want a vibey place to eat and walk around after.

Last time my boyfriend brought home leftovers and it tasted better than my current visit and this review. I thought the brocolini was overcooked and soggy instead of crispy. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was good. I like the dill sauce to accompany the fries. The lamb added to pasta was decent. I think the lamb was a little gamey. The restaurant is at the CAMP and the parking still sucks for this plaza. In addition, you order your meal at the hostess stand and grab an open table to dine at.

food: no notes! the ahba burger is so good! the meat is so tender and juicy. the garlic fries r bomb! good portions too service: interesting concept. you order up front n they bring it to ur table ambiance: casual

I've come multiple times because a friend wanted to try it out. It's a restaurant in the Lab. I ordered the burger with the upgraded truffle fries. It wasn't bad but just wasn't that great either. Personally, it's one of those burgers I try and just forget about. I'm not sure what the rave is behind these burgers but there are other great burger spots in OC. I've also tried their pasta and broccoli. I'm not a fan either, it needs more seasoning. Service is okay, not good or bad. The restaurant itself is cute. When I sat outside, it felt like I'm in someone's backyard - lots of plants and fairy lights. Overall, I think it's a cute place to hangout and maybe grab a drink upstairs but I wouldn't come back unless someone else wanted to.

This was an overall confusing and disappointing experience. The concept itself is different than other restaurants where you order upfront with the hostess and seat yourself anywhere. I am not criticizing the concept itself because I've been to places that have done this casual dining concept before but the hostess seemed dismissive and inattentive to the fact we have never been here. She told us to sit ourselves which we did in the back patio. We then realized there were no waiters to serve us menus so we then walked all the way back to retrieve them. Once we decided what we wanted to eat, we once again walked all the way back to place our orders. It took a while to actually get settled. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The back patio seating was awful because the tables were wobbly and the chairs were at all different heights.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It felt like I was at a backyard cookout at someone's house. We switched to indoor seating shortly after. The food itself was good but not memorable. I've had better smash burgers, broccolini, fries, wings, and Caesar salads at other places. The best thing was probably the rigatoni which I'd rate a 8/10 while the others were probably a 6/10. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is an upstairs bar area which was very cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, when we tried placing our drinks orders to the bartender downstairs he said one of the drinks was only able to be ordered upstairs. When we proceeded to go upstairs, the bartender then said we couldn't bring the drink downstairs. As you can see, there was a lot of unnecessary walking throughout our experience. The service was nonexistent per its concept. But even with the little interactions we had with the staff, it seemed like they were very indifferent to the customers and very little guidance on where to go and what to do. If they improved on their service and were more service oriented I'd consider returning for the cute aesthetic.

I would always see a line out of this place, and finally decided to try it out! turns out there's a line because you had to order first at the front and seat yourself lol we sat outside because we noticed they were playing spirited away on the projector- service was good and the food came out pretty fast once you ordered what we ordered - - whipped feta - wings - our tables favorite! - steak frites - wouldn't recommend the steak but i loved the fries! - sweet papas we definitely want to come back to try out their coffee and breakfast menu!

A cute spot to hang out. Went on a Friday around 4pm and we got seated right away. We got the hh white wine, it was fine. We only stopped by for a quick drink before dinner, didn't try the food.

What a cool place! Located at The Camp, parking can be brutal sometimes but it is what it is. My husband and I heard great things about Ahba so we decided to try the fan favorite burger and it did not disappoint! It's your classic American cheese burger, the waygu beef and quality ingredients makes it even more delicious. It also comes with fries, not bad for $18. Great service, friendly people and good vibes. I heard they have a rooftop bar too, I'll have to try next time for happy hour!

AhbA is located inside The Camp, which made it a bit tricky to find. Ordering was also a little awkward--you place your order at the host/hostess desk, which felt unusual--so we opted instead for full service at the bar. The ambiance is definitely a highlight. On a sunny SoCal day, I can imagine the vibe being fantastic, especially with the mix of indoor seating, bar space, and a protected outdoor patio. My table guest and I split the smash burger with regular fries. The food came out quickly and was tasty enough, but for the price (about $20 all in), my guest commented she'd rather grab In-N-Out or The Habit. Will I come back? Chances are doubtful--but I can see how this spot could really shine on the right day, with the right expectations.

We saw how he was with other tables and he was just as pleasing with others. Their menu size is perfect. They have a little bit of everything but not a huge selection that makes it hard to decide. For drinks we got the REFILLABLE lychee lemonade which was amazing! There were 2 pieces of lychees in the drink at the start. We also got the Ube Beer which my bf loved. Slightly sweet light flavor "In between a beer and cider if order again". We ordered the calamari, chicken wings (Parmesan that came with garlic), hamachi tostada, ribeye garlic noodles, shrimp and pork wontons (steamed) and the seasonal special scallops. The food was amazing!!! The calamari was pretty average, but had a good portion size!! We ordered 2 hamachi tostadas because they were so good. The tuna was fresh, the sauces were amazing, and the crunch of the tostada was amazing! Highly recommend! The garlic noodles were an 8/10. Steak was good and the noodles were a good portion. Chicken wings were very flavorful and the parm/garlic made it. Highly recommend! The wontons were also an 8/10. Really good flavor/sauce in the dish also recommended. The scallops were memorable. They were on the special menu and it was trulyyyy so delicious and just as fresh as the tostada. I hope they still have it cause you need to try it and the flavors. It was my bf birthday and they gave him a matcha cheesecake with caramel drizzle. It was the perfect size and not too rich or sweet. We got the picanha fried rice, filet Mignon lomo saltado, beef and mushroom fried rice, and shrimp garlic noodles. Picanha Fried Rice (4/5) - The picanha was cooked perfectly and paired really nice with the fried rice. The green sauce definitely complimented the dish overall but I think there could've been a little more seasoning added to the fried rice overall. It was missing some salt or spice (which you can ask for on the side). Beef and Mushroom Rice (3.5/5) - This was a tasty and classic dish but I would suggest getting other dishes. Portion was great though! Shrimp Garlic Noodles (4/5) - The noodles were great, you can really taste the garlic in them but the Parmesan was a little overpowering personally. I wish they used unpeeled shrimp since it caused a little bit of a mess with using hands. The overall dish was good but was missing a little bit of flavor. Definitely tasted better asking for chili oil and their spicy sauce to mix in with it. Filet Mignon Lomo Saltado (4.5/5) - This is one of my favorite dishes at any restaurant so I had to get it here. The seasoning was perfect on the fries, steak, and onions (there was a little too much salt) and all paired well with the rice. Service was great, the restaurant was really clean. Will be back!
