I have been coming to Aged for over 5 years. My husband and i had our first date here so you know its quite special to me. Ive been around for a few management changes and the new management is quite good. The servers are okay but i think they can improve on that. Our last server asked my friend how she wanted her eggs cooked when she ordered an omelet. She was so frustrated and went to get the manager to clarify. Simple things like that are quite concerning. Despite the misunderstanding, the omelet was perfect! I ordered an eggs benedict! It was excellent. It had the right amount of seasoning in the hollandaise sauce. My eggs were perfectly runny. The English muffin was lightly toasted as i had requested. To be honest, there isnt much i can say to describe how delicious this meal was. We also got the unlimited mimosas for an additional $10. They used to have it for 3 hours but its now 2. The mimosas were good and our server was very attentive monitoring our glasses so I'd say i had a good number of them before we headed out My go to order is usually the steak and eggs. I ordered the steak and eggs about a month ago. Steak was cooked exactly how i had requested it. It was very tender and juicy which is how i like my steaks. I had a side if home fries to accompany my steak. They were good too! Over the years the decor has changed. I love the ambiance and rustic feel that the restaurant carries. This place is perfect for a date or brunch with the girls. They usually have top 40 music playing in the background but it isnt too loud so you can actually hear each other. We ordered from the pre-fixe menu which gives you appetizer,main and dessert for $24.95. I had the salad, lobster ravioli and the cheese cake. The salad was very good in the fact that they just didn't give romaine and tomatoes. It had onion, cucumber, tomatoes, grapes and romaine. The ravioli was okay. I tasted a little lobster. The cheese cake was nice and creamy. It was on the sweet side for me but I don't like things very sweet. My lunch mates had the skirt steak which I thought looked very good. I'm pretty sure the pasta was spaghetti not linguini. The lobster was so chewy aka severely over cooked. There was visible pieces of garlic in the pasta but literally ... I TASTED NO GARLIC. We shared the 16 oz cowboy ribeye with steak fries and calamari. My... the steak was so tender, juicy and bursting with gamey (in a good way) flavor. 28 days certainly made it melt in your mouth soft and full throttle on that salty sweet sanguine meat yumminess- one could only imagine what happens as it ages longer. But that's for the experts to know and I to happily imbibe. Beautiful price point, beautiful cut and size, I couldn't ask for more. Well maybe 5 more ounces personally it was so delicious. We opted for the bernaise sauce and it was buttery good but for a steak of this caliber- one needs No sauce. Fries were really really good as they were perfectly fried (well) and not large wedges dipped in the House steak sauce which tasted like bbq mixed with cocktail sauce- great combo. Calamari were cooked and coated perfectly. A thick(er) breadcrumb coating that's was not my favorite but one could hardly Ever argue with fried squid! I had the Cuban mojito- the biggest disappointment to a superb meal. According to my friend, she's pretty sure that Aged might be under a whole new crew. It was my first time going although she's been a few times and recommended it to me. We went for brunch and had champagne for a good price. Although it only lasted 2 hours until they cut us off. I got a steak panini which I wish had been a little bigger or at least something other than plain white bread, but the inside and the fries made up for it. It was really tasty and a good portion. I've been to a few restaurants near Aged and have always wanted to try it I decided to go for lunch and upon entering the decor was nice the lunch menu specials were really attractive as well. After ordering was when my experience in ages really went downhill. My first course was the French onion soup which really lacked flavor it looked good but did not taste good. The burger I order "The Aged Burger" was actually a well cooked tasty burger I'll give them that. The fries tasted like bagged frozen french fries which in my opinion for quality accompaniment to a burger frozen is not your option. What really put a damper on my experience was the service the waiters seemed to be wandering around aimlessly like they had no idea that you're supposed to serve the customers not stare at them awkwardly as you pass them empty handed for the 47th time as it took 50 minutes for my burger to come out. In my time there I saw three people sit down and get up and leave without even having ordered or even be acknowledged. Was not a good experience for aged. Thanks to a friend I was treated to a dinner here. I was interested in trying the restaurant for a while now as steak is one of my favorite things to eat out. The major thing holding me back was the price point. I can truly say I have had better for less money at quite a few places locally. Don't get me wrong, Aged was fine but not anything special. The restaurant itself is lovely, service was good but once again, nothing special. We decided on ordering from the Prix Fixe menu.The highlight of my meal was the crispy salad. The dressing was very tasty. Hubby and I ordered the same thing.The skirt steak was cooked as I ordered, Chimichurri was tasty and the mashed potato was average. My host ordered French onion soup which was OK only after a generous amount of salt was added. I tend to not use salt, I feel food should be fine without if seasoned properly. For her main she ordered Salmon which did not come with a side?. Why no side, I have no idea. She got the asparagus which she said was good. Desert was Icecream or Lemon or Mango sorbet. Spent $150TO GET FOOD POISONING Absolutely terrible. Went here last week with a friend. The wait Staff took forever to take our order. We ordered the mussels for the table, friend got fish and chips, and I got the seafood pasta and we each had one drink. The fish and chips were completely bland, no flavor, and it was one clump of a whole fried unseasoned fish. The only part about it that was semi okay were the fries (because it's pretty hard to fuck up French fries) The mussels actually tasted good, and then the seafood pasta was bland again Then a few hours after I get home, I become violently ill, vomiting and stomach issues. I couldn't keep anything down. for the next 4 days, I deal with the effects of the food poisoning. I had to take off work, then work from home on the Friday, and then have my entire weekend spent in bed to the point of being exhausted at doing the slightest of tasks since at this point it's over 72 hours since I've been able to keep any food down. I call the restaurant a total of 6 times, each time they tell me the manager isn't there and to call back later. I eventually reach him and he tries to tell me it is MY fault because I might have suddenly become allergic to seafood after eating it my whole life, including the week prior to eating at their restaurant. I tell him I want a refund and he assures me he will. A week later and nothing. I just called back and he said that he can't give me a refund but he can give me a credit to the restaurant for the next time I go there.what?? I'm never eating there again, I was violently sick for almost a week. now I have to dispute it with my credit card company. read more

I've only been here on the weekends for brunch. I love that the restaurant is in Forest Hills, and it is so easily accessible by public transportation. One of the best things about their weekend brunch is the 60 minute, unlimited champagne feature. Seating is great, and is fairly quiet for a popular location. The food itself is good, but nothing to brag about, especially with it's prices. Honestly, the best features of this locale is it's service. The waiters and staff are very charming and attentive, which is something you want to look out for with all the champagne refills. At my last visit, I had a chance to meet the manager. Pretty much the definition of the word "Mediocre." Too pricey and not enough food. The type of place that slices your steak in the kitchen so you wont notice how small of a portion you're getting. We skipped the unlimited drinks since we had later plans for drinking, $10 for unlimited is not a bad deal for an hour. Sebastian was are wonderful waiter and he was very helpful and tentative to me and my family. We came all the way from brooklyn to enjoy and wonderful family dinner at again and I had a great time. The place has a very urban modern feel to it but the layout was very Good for a night out for dinner or maybe a date night with friend or loved one. I had baked clams that was amazing I wished I ordered a larger plate. The clams were cooked to perfection, my mom had a pizza platter and my uncle had the meatballs which he agreed was very delicious. I had the lemony shrimp pasta which was okay just wished it had a little more lemon kick to it, it was a little over oiled but the shrimp was well. 10/27/22 My wife and I are very disappointed. Driving all the way from Long Island and Looking forward for a good dinner but instead the Aged Steak House refused to honor the gift card that was gifted to us by a friend. Inspite of calling ahead for reservation and letting them know we have a printed voucher and bar code on the smart phone , on arrival was denied dinner service. Manager named Tony was not a help at all making us stand at the corner waiting for decision. Finally we left with feeling of disgust and disappointment. I've visited this place a few times and for the price, they could do a heck of a lot better. They charge five star prices for common steakhouse quality food and service. A lot of the food is just salty and covered in oil. It's not haute cuisine. The porterhouse was half inedible grizzle. There's nothing notable about it. The truffle fries are just regular fries covered in grocery store truffle oil. I was served an "avocado salad" which was literally just a bowl of lettuce with half an avocado in it. No plating, no presentation. The bathroom door doesn't lock properly, so I had an employee walk in on me while doing my business. Great. Thanks for that. We were given a gift card to visit this restaurant. The manger took an hour (read: 60 minutes) to figure out how to apply it to our check. So we sat there watching the ice in our drinks melt while they were in the back re-inventing calculus. (Mind you, this is while we have a babysitter at home!) Totally inconsiderate. Small little spot in forest hills. I walked in on a Sunday late afternoon, I had just came out from hours of shopping and was starving. So I didn't do any research at all on this restaurant before hand but my experience there was quite pleasant. Austin street has always been one of my favorite places to hang out because of it very Queens vibe and great bars and restaurants etc. this steak house looked very cute as I walked in, it was small but very nicely decorated, the lights were dimmed just right and the French windows gave us a view of the street which I liked very much. The atmosphere was great, wooden chairs and wine bottles and a very "cabin like" look. The staff were wonderful, very attentive and sweet checking up on us frequently. Even though I planned on having steak I ended up ordering the lobster Linguini ( i have a weakness for seafood Linguini) The Linguini was fantastic, I'm definitely going to go back there just for it! read more

We were greeted kindly by the manager and shown to a table by the front windows. The restaurant is very pretty with lots of natural light. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. My steak sandwich was a little disappointing. Another reviewer commented that when they ordered their steak, they weren't asked how they wanted it cooked. I was not asked either. It was more like a Philly cheese steak minus the cheese. Onions, peppers and mushrooms masked the fact that there were only two small slices of meat on each half. The fries were the best part of the plate. Crunchy and well seasoned. My wife's fish and chips was very greasy, as many are, but delicious. I wound up eating hers because the oil was too much for her. She commented that is was delicious but she should have known better than to order something deep fried. Lunch came with coffee or tea and the coffee was very good. I would give it one more try. It was good but not good enough to travel 20 minutes for. Let me just summarize it for you. I had purchased a Groupon for around $90 for a dinner for 2 to this restaurant. The food here was great. They serve large portions of food and if you have a Groupon like I did, it's too good to be true. As you can see in my receipt, I had the octopus and Calamari for my appetizers. It was delicious and so was the Porterhouse steak, it was cooked to perfection. The owner of the restaurant even stuck by my table and spoke to me and my mother and even instructed us on how to eat the Porterhouse steak. Fast foward to when we expect to see the check. I'm expecting to only pay for the wine and extra side dish I ordered so nothing about $50, right? Boy was I wrong. Our sub total came out to $32, added tax was 16.42 making it $48 and then came the insane part and I'm not joking which is why I added the receipt for proof. The 20% tips was already added and it came to $37 making our bill, 85.42!!!!! What is more insane is that on the receipt there's a section on how to tip accordingly so that $37 is definitely a service fee they give the customer so they won't lose money with the Groupon. Mind you I paid 90 for the Groupon so I'm total I spent $175.42 on this restaurant. Without the Groupon and the price details are on the side of each item ordered on the receipt, the total comes out to 169.42 so I saved five dollars with the coupon, wow. This is not a steal and I recommend that people be alert when ordering the Groupon for this restaurant. It seems like the owner doesn't want to lose money with the Groupon so he just tries to make up for the difference with that "20% tip" surcharge, which is ridiculous. The food was great but I can get even more tasting food around my area. Not worth it. read more

The food was very good -- good portions. $39 for a steak that isn't really dry-aged is steep, but it beats trekking to Manhattan. If I want Del Frisco's or Morton's, I'll go there. There are good steak restaurants and there are amazing steak places and I have to say this place is one of the best ones around Queens that I have frequented often for dinner. The service is great and beyond par and our waiter TARIQ went all out to give us the best suggestions on the menu starting from drinks while we waited for a table to appetizers and the main course. The steak was juicy well cooked and tender the Mahi Mahi was simply delicious and the side orders were cooked to perfection as well. This followed by amazing crembrule for dessert and coffee with ice cream on top to close the deal on a perfect dinner. This has become my go to place for steak and good ambience and excellent service. Do ask for TARIQ for your waiter you wont be disappointed. Tried the lobster guacamole (with avocado, cilantro, lime, and tortilla chips) which sounds nice but was a very cold and bland dish. The other dishes were decent: charred octopus (with hummus, shallots, roasted peppers, white truffle oil) , steak tips (with caramelized onions, blue cheese, and garlic bread). The he guy reply's with your 60 min is up and fills the glass up half way. I couldn't believe he came out his face like that.
