The coctails were very affordable, and the bloody Mary grew on me the more I drank. The food: the steak was good, although I asked for it medium rare, and got it medium well.. it was still good. We booked indoor but they allowed us to sit outside. The food was pretty good and the service was good very quick with the food and drinks and they continued to ask if we needed anything else. We all had the rib eye steak nice size portion and not a lot of fat, seasoning could have been better. They had the mashed potatoes and wings I had the chef salad and truffle fries. Don't let the bad reviews scare you, I'm actually surprised by them. Stopped by today and sat outside, and decided to try their $20 lunch special. I got the Greek salad and the burger, along with their Rose Mule drink. My waiter was very kind and attentive, and promptly brought me water. The salad was refreshing, with tomatoes, cucumbers and a nice chunk of feta cheese. The burger? Outstanding. Our waiter was attentive and our food and drinks were served in a timely fashion thankfully cause I was starving!! Lol More importantly, our food was delicious. My entire entree was savory, especially the wild salmon, it was very enjoyable and well cooked per my request! The burrata salad was good but could've used a bit more olive oil and pesto sauce, however, the cucumber addition was creative and made up for the lack there of. Then the waiter brought it back and said we "can have it" while he brings the correct order. Yet, he charged us for it!!? From the beginning of my experience at the restaurant to the end, we tried to keep positive about the experience. We were given olive oil (not extra virgin) and 3 pieces of poorly cut, burnt toast. Then we asked for better bread and they gave us 3 more pieces, some toasted and some not. The $59 Ribeye was not of quality, nor was the $55 Fillet Mignon. The knives they provided barely cut the medium steaks, and we even had the knives replaced, but they were still bad. The asparagus was not great, but probably the better part of the meal, and the mashed potatoes with the Fillet were terrible. I paid the bill of $181.68 plus a cash tip. Ironically I had to put Tabasco sauce and it tasted better with it! LOL! For the burger, what do you expect lol just like any other burger! Not worth $25! Heck no! I came on a hot & humid day in summer, they don't have the AC on(either it's broken or they don't have it at all who knows), they only have that big machine blowing air. The ambiance is rustic and spacious enough for the area it's located in. There also outdoor seating. I always get the steak sandwich/panini off the brunch menu here as it's pretty good. There was a worker drilling signage outside which got a little loud and annoying but it forgivable. Last night, my friend John and I, decided to eat at "Aged" Steakhouse. When we walked in it was a beautiful quaint restaurant with French doors letting the setting sun into the seating area. They have a nice bar you can sit at or be seated at a table or bench nook against the wall. They have wine, and special signature drinks and mojito, margarita and sangria homade pitchers. We started with a pitcher of red sangria served with rosemary bread soaked in olive oil. For appetizers, scrumptious calamari lightly deep fried with fried jalapeño peppers, mouth watering baked clams and an amazing grilled octopus over a splash of tomato sauce and little grilled cherry tomatoes and breaded fried cauliflower, cooked soo good it was like a steak. For dinner we both ordered the large boneless thick and juicy Ribeye steak. Soooooo delicious and cooked to perfection, medium rare, pink on the inside and charred on the outside. Mmmmmmm mmmmmm good. With a side of sautéed sliced mushrooms and chimichurri sauce to dip. The steak was so well prepared it needed nothing on it though. We were seated and waited for the server to come over. Typically you are paced through your meal. Starting with water and drinks (if desired). Then appetizers and your entree. Everything felt rushed. The drinks took about 15 mins to be ready. But it wasn't so crowded so I'm not sure why there was a delay. We went with one appetizer but were asked a few times if we wanted more appetizers. As if there was some expectation to the amount of appetizers to have for a party of 4. The calamari was ok. Could've been a bit more crisp but it was seasoned well. For the entrees we went with two rib eyes, one salmon dish and one short rib. The medium ribeye looked fine. Whereas the medium well one looked mangled. It was not appealing looking at all. When it was mentioned the food server shrugged and we requested the manager come over. He had it replaced relatively quickly and it was a lot better. We sat and ate. It was awhile before the server came back again and we were able to get a birthday crème brûlée. They sang. Nothing too special and then we requested the check. For service that was definitely lacking there was a $50 gratuity added. In addition there was another suggested gratuity at the bottom. Easy to miss the previously added amount and to pay additional. So my wife and I decided that it would be a good idea to check it out for Valentine's day (which is months ago but forgot to review this place...give me a break.) Service was fine, they were nice and quick. The thing that I took points off for was really that I just don't even remember the steak. The service was cool, we got calamari, and i got a ny strip steak w truffle Mac and cheese which was so good. My friend got the Atlantic truffle salmon w mashed potato's.
