We stopped by here instead of getting food at the Chihuly glass garden museum. It's just outside the space needle area and the climate pledge arena. Their menu was pretty large with great drink options. They had an outside patio area, a bar and also booths. Their drinks were delicious and the hibiscus mezcal was beautiful. Food was delicious - I loved the green sauce with the calamari. The birria tacos were grilled just the right way and the dipping sauce with had jalapeños which was a nice touch. The quesadillas were on the appetizer menu but were a great option for lunch!

Great experience! Classic, slightly nicer Mexican restaurant with wide selection of margaritas/tequila and dishes. Especially loved the spicy salsa verde, prickly pear agave marg, citrusy Cadillac marg, and crispy cod tacos. Portions were large and filling and Michel was the best server!

A Mexican restaurant nestled into the heart of Queen Anne -- they're a stone's throw from Climate Pledge Area and SIFF Theaters, among other things. We stopped by for dinner before heading to the movies. The ambiance inside is nice, and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was decently busy for an early Saturday dinner, and the food did take a while as a result. The margs here are really good but I wasn't that impressed with the food IMHO -- there aren't many vegetarian options, and I felt like the Agave Burrito with Mushrooms and Spinach was mostly rice. I'd maybe go back for a drink and a snack before going to game or concert!

We came from Texas to check out this place, was my bf birthday and i pick this place to take him for dinner, we stopped before going to the game, the place was full, the person at the entrance told us we could wait on the side of the bar and get drinks, the manager was not as friendly as he was with the couple who was in front of us, the bar back only removed the plates but did not clean, I had to ask someone to clean the bar top to put my drink, we decided it was better not to eat here, the bartender was the only one who talk to us and make me give This restaurant 2 stars. Not what I expect for a special occasion.

I seriously don't understand how people can be so entitled to leave a 3 star review while acknowledging that the food is amazing and any service issues are due to the place being packed during an event. There are very few options in the area so clearly there is high demand and a need for additional restaurants, sounds like a good problem to have! That being said, this is at the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Seattle, and having moved here after living 40+ years in Arizona and New Mexico, I can confidently say, the food is some of the best Mexican food I have had. I recently moved into the neighborhood and I will definitely be adding Agave to my regular rotation.

Agave was surprising good for the limited menu that they had for the nights of events at climate pledge. It was a little unfortunate that the first time I go that I wasn't able to try the things on the full menu but our waitress was super sweet and gave us a little surprise towards the end of dinner. Went to Agave the night of the Lizzo concert and it was packed. We got a table in the back kind of adjacent to the restrooms but there was little room for the waitress or individuals to pass behind my chair as the table behind us was super close. It was loud but eventually died down a little as everyone packed up to go to the concert. The table ordered chips, guac and salsa to start which the chips needed heaps of salt for taste. Eventually the food came out: Agave Burrito with Carnitas, Chicken Tinga Tacos, and Al Pastor Pork Tacos Though there wasn't supposed to be dessert, our waitress brought us out the fried ice cream and the Molten lava cake! The latter was very delicious! Make sure to check in so you can get a free dessert coupon!

Stopped here for a quick, convenient bite on a Friday night before a concert. Be warned that it's teeming with patrons when there's an event at Climate Pledge - we waited about an hour before being seated. Everyone in your group must be present and there's a strict time limit on dining so patrons can be shuttled in and out efficiently. The portions are MASSIVE - I'd highly recommend splitting an entrée if possible. I ordered the nachos with carne asada and the plate was bigger than my head. Service was spotty, but that can likely be attributed to how busy it was. A good place to eat if you have an event at Climate Pledge!

The best tacos I've had in a while. Was shocked to see the overall rating of 3.4, the guys were really friendly and the bar was amazing. The tacos were so so so good during the happy hour!!

Great service, great food, great location! Favorite spot to hit before a concert. Splurge on the skirt steak, it melts in your mouth like cotton candy! So good!!

**vegetarian review** Agave is a large pleasant place with several vegetarian options! It was quite full but I could easy hear my friend so it's well spaced. I ordered the fried artichoke tacos which were so damn good. Omg the artichokes were so well done. I cannot say enough good stuff about it. I also got the cilantro jalapeño margarita which was quite good - could be a little less sweet but good regardless. I also got chips and salsa and the salsa was so nice. Spicy and perfect. Highly recommend.

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.

I would love to have a nice bar to patronize, but the bar food menu doesn't match bar food vibe. I am curious what dinner would be like here. Whoever owns this bar and whoever is curating this menu is absolutely a music head. No debate. And here's your gentle PSA: please pass that love of music AND hip-hop history to your waitstaff. Because what happened to me... was personal. There are three drinks on the menu that basically scream, "someone in here grew up on hip-hop and never emotionally left the 90s." We've got: ATLiens Aquemini 2 ____ a Butterfly (fill in the blank, but if you know, you KNOW Kendrick Lamar, 2015) Now listen this is not "aqua-mini." This is Outkast. Andre 3000. Big Boi. Southern rap royalty. It is pronounced Ah-kwim-in-eye The waitress looks me dead in my soul and says, "Oh, you mean the Aqua-mini." I was transported out of my body. Now here's the issue: I would've let it go...if a Kendrick Lamar song wasn't also on the menu. Because why are we confidently mispronouncing Outkast while casually referencing Pulitzer-level rap on the same drink list? At that point I realized I was surrounded by people under 34 who had never had to wait for TRL, decode a CD booklet, or defend Southern rap. No one in my group shared my emotional breakdown. Not one gasp. Prices & Drinks (important part): Let's talk about the $18 drink situation. I paid $18 for an Aquemini and received...vibes. Not buzz. At $18, I expect at least a whisper of alcohol. Instead, I got decorative hydration. My husband's Blueberry Smash? Better. More flavor. More personality. So now I'm sitting there thinking: I paid premium pricing for a drink I had to defend and pronounce correctly myself... and still left sober. Food: I was a little hungry and ordered fried shrimp (not on the online menu) The shrimp was fine. Just fine. The dipping sauce tried its best, and I respect that effort. Why is everything either wagyu, mussels, duck, or something you need a culinary degree to pronounce like gruyere but I can't just get a basic bar plate? Wagyu sliders, chicken bites would have been nice because I don't usually go out thinking, "Tonight feels like Wagyu and mussels at the bar." Service: I'm from Los Angeles, so I'm familiar with urban sketchy with a side of vibes. The activities near the parking spaces was very sketch. I was with a group of 8, including my husband so I felt protected by numbers. Inside, it was a Friday night but surprisingly empty. The music was loud enough to feel like a party, but quiet enough that you could still hear each other. We tried to rearrange seating to accommodate our group and the waitress said "I'm not walking around you, so keep this aisle clear." Which was fair, but also, there are gentler ways to say "I need this walkway." Or tell us the better way to set up seating in the empty bar. I didn't have a second drink frankly because I was never asked. Most places I go the waitress will come and ask if I want another drink. I don't live in Seattle, so this was my intro to night time bar life in the city. Sleepless in Seattle? I think in 2026 it's more like Sleepy in Seattle by looking at the emptiness.
