My dog is always so happy after her appointments too, which really shows me they take such good care of her because she is a very anxious dog. I had taken my dog to a previous local groomer and after switching to 3-C's, we haven't looked back. It was a huge difference between how good her cuts are now compared to then and her behavior after being groomed. They really take their time to make sure their cut is perfect and they always give them a cute bow or bandana that perfects the look. They are also educational and will point you to the right products and tools for your pup. I always recommend them to everyone I know with dogs. You really get what you pay for and it is so worth it! Their pricing and policies are listed all at the front and they do ask you what you would like to be done, so there are no surprises. Every professional grooming place will have additional fees for matting, behavior etc. so that should not be a surprise either. I…read morethink the best way to put into perspective just how much she loved this place is that she would start absolutely freaking out with excitement the second she realized we were driving there. My husband and I used both their daycare and boarding services, and I always felt completely comfortable leaving her in their hands, whether it was for the day while we were at work or while we were out of town. That peace of mind means so much when you're trusting someone else with your fur baby. And this is definitely not the kind of place where dogs are just sitting in kennels all day. Our girl would come home so adorably exhausted after daycare that there was absolutely no question she had spent her day playing and having the best time. They even host cute little parties for the pups and do things like costume contests, which I always thought was such a sweet touch. The entire staff is incredible. You can genuinely tell how much they love animals and care about the dogs they look after, and that makes such a difference when you're leaving your pup with someone for hours or even days at a time. I especially want to shout out Cellee. She was always so sweet when I dropped our girl off in the mornings, and it was obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for these pups. She went above and beyond to make our final goodbye with Rivers Edge so special, and it meant more to us than she probably realizes. We are so grateful to Cellee and the entire Rivers Edge team for taking such amazing care of our girl and giving her a place she was genuinely SO excited to go to. We already miss you guys so much. This review is for my experience over the phone with Lori , I have not visited the clinic…read more My pup wasn't doing well. He was shaking, vomiting, had a lack of appetite, and bloody stool. He's a little guy, so he tends to go downhill quickly if he doesn't get treatment quickly. The vet I typically use said they couldn't see him until 3 days later, even after explaining his symptoms. I didn't want to make my pup suffer that long and I was really concerned because it was getting progressively worse rather quickly. I called local vets. Some weren't taking new patients, some didn't have any openings, some weren't friendly or informative over the phone when I called. I called Lompoc Veterinary Clinic, they could not see him HOWEVER, Lori couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. She was so patient and gave me a long list of other local vets & numbers to try. I was very appreciative of her extra efforts and her caring manner. Not long after my conversation with her she called me back telling me she forgot one other option. She totally went the extra mile and my pet isn't even a patient at this clinic. I'm so grateful to Lori because that phone call made all the difference. I called that last option she gave me and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. It's VERY rare these days where a business does what they're getting paid to do, even more rare when they're going above and beyond without getting paid for it! I SO appreciate Lori's kindness, thoughtfulness, and her going the extra mile. This is exactly the type of service I would love for my fur baby to receive. So while I have not had the opportunity to visit this clinic, I would not hesitate to recommend them based on the EXCELLENT service I received over the phone by Lori. Very grateful. Thank you !

Unfortunately people like the idea of a pets but not the idea of investing in the proper care and proper set up for them. I have been to many petcos locally and outside of the county. And this petco is a hidden gem because I've never seen such care and determination these guys put out. For all of those complaining or making things up to escalate situations for their own benefit I dare you to go to other petcos and see how much better the Lompoc one is compared to them. The staff really care and they are really good people. I've been coming to this one for many years. Don't always believe what you see in reviews. I've seen how badly the staff get treated for doing the right things.

While an employee was retrieving the hamster, the General Manager approached us aggressively, raised his voice, and began scolding us about the cage, claiming a previous hamster had gotten ringworm from it. I tried to calmly explain that the cage was temporary and that we had done our research, but he would not let me speak, repeatedly talked over me, and belittled me in front of my child. His behavior was hostile, intimidating, and completely unprofessional. He then told us that if the hamster got sick, we should "not come back" because he would refuse to replace it, which felt threatening rather than helpful. Most alarming, his speech appeared slurred, and there was a strong smell of alcohol. Regardless of the cause, his conduct was inappropriate and concerning, especially from someone in a management role. What should have been a happy experience for our daughter was completely ruined. No customer -- especially a family with a child -- should be treated this way. Corporate should seriously look into the management at this location.

When it came time to say goodbye to Roxy, they made one of the hardest moments of our lives feel as peaceful and supported as possible. Their compassion truly meant everything to us. A few years later, we found ourselves in that position again with our 15-year-old Dodger (our Black Mouth Cur). Even though Dodger wasn't an established patient, they treated him with so much care and kindness, as if they had known him his whole life. That meant more than I can put into words.
