Great place to stop and get GF breads, but hard to find because it's the factory and hidden away in an office park.

Another awesome Breakfast at the most popular breakfast place in our area! And it's just down the…read moreroad from us! All their pancakes are amazing, even though with my sodium issue I only get a taste of my husband's. My ole favorites were Pumpkin and their classic Sugar & Spice with the perfect amount of sweetness and spice mix. I wish they would serve saltless grits! That would make this girl happy! I only eat a couple of the potatoes, they are very tasty however salt is used or the rest of you wouldn't be eating them....am I right! Of course, my eggs were cooked perfectly! I keep forgetting you have ice cream! They also have many local theme items for sale and don't forget to not head home with Vermont's local Maple Syrup! If you came in March you will get to see the sap being processed into syrup!

After searching reviews across four states, Maple Sugar & Vermont Spice was clearly at the top of the list. Three hours after leaving the Boston suburbs, we pulled into the parking lot. The scenery was beautiful we were hungry, and we were happy to be promptly seated by our friendly host. Every positive thing you read in the reviews is true. The staff is friendly. The food is plentiful and wonderful. However... we were not seated in the main dining room. We were brought to an auxiliary room on the west side of the building. The most dominant feature of the room was the white interior sloped ceiling, barn-like wood paneling occupying about two-thirds of the horizontal portion of the walls, and a few coffee mugs and small photos resting atop the paneling. There was a small casement window in the center of the southwest wall. This room had all the charm and natural light of a church basement in Indiana. The comparison to the main dining room is stark. The main room has a view of the grill, and is filled with all the syrup and souvenirs they could possibly fit into the space. The main room is as funky and fun as the auxiliary room is sad and depressing. Will we go back to Maple Sugar & Vermont Spice? Absolutely. The food and service was wonderful. However, we would insist on sitting in the main dining room. If you go, you should, too.

"Half-baked cookies in the oven Half-baked people on the…read morebus" (Jimmy Buffet) Wandering around Shelburne Falls, we decided to stop somewhere for a coffee or a snack. We ended up finding both at Baked. When we walked in, we saw a few big bakery cases filled with pastries, muffins, and all sorts of baked goods. A little further into the space, we saw a reception stand for their full service, sit-down restaurant. We just wanted a beverage and a bakery treat, so that meant we couldn't sit in the restaurant, but luckily, we grabbed the only table in front of the bakery cases. It was quite a chore narrowing down our order from their many drinks and baked goods, but eventually we decided on a Cold Vanilla Blueberry Latte ($6), a Hot Banana Bread Latte ($5), a Macaroon ($3.75), and an Orange Cranberry Scone ($4). The cold latte and scone were mine and I enjoyed both a lot. The latte had great blueberry flavor and the scone was fantastic. We shared the baked treats, and the macaroon was great too, with plenty of chocolate chips, and a freshly made gooey consistency. We both noted how fresh everything was. All in all, their quality, prices and value were excellent. Well done, Baked... we loved our visit.

I was seated right away at the counter (definitely helpful that it was just me, as I did see a line forming). And the servers were kind and helpful when I asked about the menu. There were so many options it was has to choose from, so I ended up with the southwestern benedict and it was amazing! It was also ginormous and so affordable, I wish I had more room to try more of their goodies! Now for the inside, it's legitimately the cutest old diner, you can tell it has been loved by the community for years as I heard so many fun conversations and rapports between the guests and staff. And again, my server was the sweetest woman, I'm seriously considering coming through Bennington on my way back down just to try something else!
