This is a clean, large, ultra-modern and glittery salon. It looked brand new and ready for clients. I was tired of my old salon with too many trips back for chipping or entire nails popping off. It was either the acrylic or old polish but they decided to charge for fixes if it was needed after 3 days! Wendy did a great job - I had all the old acrylic removed along with the few nails still hanging on. I got a full set with 2 designs on each hand, gel. The total charge was $80. I like Wendy's style and care. The designs were beautiful! The only downside was so much confusion when I arrived. They kept yelling for some guy who eventually came over to me. But, he insisted someone else help me as he was not good at even a simple design. Communication in English was very difficult. Still, if my nails hold up for at least 2 weeks, I will return. read more

AG nails used to be phenomenal when they first opened. Quality of work has significantly declined. Its mediocre at best now and they overcharge as well. I used to be a regular, but have since stopped going because I rarely leave satisfied with my nails. So disappointing read more

I have mixed feelings with this place. It was a nice atmosphere. They have a lot of chairs but get crowded on the weekend. I tried this nail salon twice, and was never happy about my nails. The staff seem nice, but my nails were never the way I wanted them to be both times. Either they looked clumpy with too much polish or the nail tech rushed and didn't add enough acrylic. I will likely not return. 3 Stars read more

After 3 days unfortunately my regular mani looks like this. The polish actually started chipping within 24 hours which has never happened to me. I received a pedi and my toes are beginning to chip as well unfortunately. It appears gel is moreso their specialty. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I booked a Gel-X manicure and pedicure the day before my birthday and spent hours in the salon only to leave without the manicure I came for and with damaged natural nails. Early in the appointment, I pointed out multiple times that red polish from my previous set was still visible underneath. My concerns were not taken seriously, and a full Gel-X set was applied anyway. The red remained visible, and the entire set ultimately had to be removed. After the first Gel-X set was removed, a second Gel-X set was applied despite not having tips that fit my nails properly. The tips had large visible gaps along the sides of multiple nails, particularly my thumbs. When I pointed this out, I was told they did not have a size that fit. Instead of stopping the service, an attempt was made to fill the gaps with builder gel. The lack of technique made the builder gel chunky and they would not file it down, leaving an uneven texture. If the salon did not have tips that fit my nails, the service should not have proceeded in the first place. I asked not to proceed with the service and have the nails to be removed. The problems did not stop there. There was visible debris under the nails, leftover glue, uneven shaping, and repeated issues that I had to point out myself. Throughout the appointment, my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed and the tech ignored my requests. The removal process was especially upsetting. The technician was very rough with my hands, soaking my fingers in pure acetone and then ripping off the nails with her fingers. I repeatedly asked for a different removal approach (filing) and eventually had to pull my hands away to prevent further damage. By the end of the appointment, my nails had been heavily over-filed, were significantly shorter than when I arrived, and one nail was filed so short that it's painful. I walked in with healthy natural nails that I had spent months growing out. I left with thin, brittle, painful nails after two failed Gel-X applications and no completed manicure. The condition of my nails when I left was worse than when I arrived. The only redeeming part of my appointment was the second technician who stepped in at the end. She listened, treated me with kindness and respect, removed glue residue, corrected some of the damage, cleaned up the shaping, and did her best to salvage the situation. I genuinely appreciated her help. I was not charged for the Gel-X manicure and was given a discount on the pedicure, which was the right thing to do. However, that does not change the fact that I lost hours of my day, lost the healthy nails I had worked hard to grow, and left without the service I came in for the day before my birthday. I will never return and I recommend you do not go to this salon read more

This is my new go to spot, I came here for the first time in May and have gone back twice since that initial visit. I did a gel x manicure the first time, gel x fill the second time, and then removal with a regular gel manicure the last time all with Hanh. Tried this salon because of the convenient location. I came in for a gel pedicure with French on Thursday, by Saturday the polish was already lifting. These nail salons charge too much for poor quality polish. If the prices are going to remain high then the product must reflect quality. I have gone to several other salons that do a much better job and the gel looks good for at least a month. Very nice people but I will not be returning due to the quality. read more

I wanted to try a new salon. The price was right. I got a spa pedicure for $48 plus $20 for gel. The woman who helped me, Vanessa did a wonderful job. The salon is absolutely beautiful and very bright. I was really happy with how everything turned out and I would go back. read more

This is my go to spot! When I moved to VA from California, it was horrible trying to find a new nail place, until I found AG nails. And lucky for me, it's also super close to my house! Tiffany is hands down the absolute best. Always on time, always does an amazing job, and is the sweetest! I'll come in with a picture of what I want and she always goes above and beyond to deliver! Thanks Tiffany for always being the best! read more

This was my first time trying this place and I had a pleasant experience. I was able to get in quickly for a gel manicure and the nail technician, Kim, who was meticulous about my French manicure. The place was clean and bright. I will definitely come back again. read more

The service was just okay. My fingernails did not need 4 coats of the polish, my toenails only needed 2 coats and they look great. Meanwhile, the polish on my fingernails have begun to slide away in certain areas. I do blame myself somewhat for not being more careful on the way out knowing she applied way too many coats. Techs were welcoming, although, I did not appreciate the giggles when I requested normal polish instead of gel. It is a service they offer anyway. Respectfully, if the techs are not able to provide a service, don't offer it. read more

My husband, got me an mani and pedi for Mother's Day and boy was it needed! Booked at 9am and my nails haven't chipped! The process was great and the place was pretty clean with massage chairs the only issue was their website is very much outdated and they still have a coupon from 2017 lol. Street Parking was easy to find and looking forward to going back! read more

Sat in a chair for 2 hours only to be dissatisfied. What I wanted verses what I got was mad different. To add insult to injury the nail tech clearly wasn't used to doing the style i request and that's fine but she said NOTHING! After several attempts and mistakes and corrections i was still charged $50 just for "The design". I paid it yes but it definitely won't happen a second time! I'm so annoyed that I just had to get out of that place. read more

They advertise in their services menu that they have a Russian manicure, which is a specific dry style of manicure that clears the cuticle and takes extra time to shape the nail, etc. When looking at their availability online, they show that all of their services have nail techs that can complete those services. When I took the time out of my day to go over for the appointment time I had booked for a Russian manicure I was turned away because the singular person who did the Russian manicures was no longer working. I suggest that they take this offering off of their website because it is false advertisement. If you don't offer Russian manicures don't have appointments made for that. read more

Was very disappointed with how my nails came out. Went in for a fill and it felt very rushed. Nails are crooked, not filled all the way in, polish is sloppy and the top coat wasn't fully applied to my whole nail. Will not be returning. read more

clear, friendly and quality nails.. went to get my fill and added o a pedicure. while the pedicure was OK the chair was comfy and has the massages. The nails on the other hand were great, he took his time, made sure the length and shape matched and even did a 3rd coat when i asked for it to be darker. Clean salon, quick service, and gentle technicians made for a great experience. I will visit again. Highly recommended.

I've been here 3 times. I got a full set with French tips and designs with pedicure each time. the price kept going up every time I went back. $120, $150 and then $170 for the same exact design styles. They don't offer water and they slightly fussed at me for wanting a nude base coat before doing my French tips. they make up their own pricing. My friends and I will not be back read more

I've tried a walk in and they never have enough people to help you. I was told to come back another day. Second time I came at 6:45pm (closes at 7:30) and there was no one there to do eyebrows was asked to come back another day.. read more

Loved my first experience at AG Nails! Van did a great job on my dip powder manicure and took her time to ensure that my nails looked their best. I asked for a design on my ring fingers and they added little flower gems to my nails, which was a fun surprise.
