2 stars for location, but that's about it. Got a regular manicure, immediately asked why I didn't want gel since it lasts longer. Well, because I mostly wanted the attention placed on my ragged cuticles. In short, it was such a waste of money. I dunno if the staff needs better training, or sharper tools, but I honestly could have done better. Which wasn't the point; I was hoping for a professional manicure that would address my jagged cuticles and hangnails. Instead, see the pics for what I got. Never again

I really tried to like this place. I gave them so many tries. If I could give them zero stars I would. They really thought it was OK to let me leave the nail salon like this and when I came back and asked for somebody else to at least reshape them to something better they made the same person who did this try to fix problem which of course she didn't not. I tried to give them even another chance maybe they will do fine on a pedicure I made an appointment I walk in and they have me sit down in the chair. Don't put any water in the chair. Don't even ask me what color I want nor did they even tell me they needed me to wait. After several minutes of not receiving service I asked what was going on with my appointment and they asked if I could come back later. Hell no. Mind you my appointment was at 10am when they opened. Don't waste your time or money.

This place, in general, and Jennifer still gets 5 stars but I had to let you guys know that I LOVE getting my nails done here, especially the SNS. It stays perfectly shiny, like new, for a minimum of 3 weeks. Also, I always get the works here - lovely lavender pedicure (sometimes I switch up the fragrance) complete with heated neck pillow, paraffin on my feet, and treatment on my hands. You guys, today my colleague touched my hand to look at my ring and she was so amazed at how soft my hand was. She even told my other colleague to touch it. I had no idea why my hand would be so soft but I honestly think I can attribute it to the hand treatment I've been getting since Jennifer suggested it months ago. I will continue to get the works when I come here - and I found that every 3 weeks is perfect for me. I love how comfortable I am here, the friendliness, and the overall care that Jennifer gives from the actual mani/pedi to the leg and hand massages. Just go.

Horrible place!!! Grumpy old man did my nails, never smiled, you cant even ask questions. They're forceful of upgrading you. Did full set and pedicure for $95 how on earth? Full set polish was too thick been trying to dry it for over an hour and still wet and ruined after almost drying it for an hour and a half. Ended up asking to just take all the polish out because its so thick and still very wet and I have to run to the airport already. Instead of apologizing this old man was even argumentative. Its not my first time doing nails so all explaination dont make sense. Trust me they will rip you off. $95 for regular pedicure and full set!

Jagged edges

Not happy. No wonder my nails only last 2 weeks vs. my friends lasting for over a month going to Russian salons. I had to ASK them to push my cuticles down and then when they actually filled the acrylic and painted, they didn't even go to the end of the nail bed! On top of it - around my nails/cuticles were not manicured and left looking disgusting, my nail polish was inconsistent in coverage and my thumb nail had noticeably jagged edges. I walked out looking like my nails were at least a week old!

Ask for Vivi. She knows what she is doing. Her nails look so natural and so pretty. She makes them neat and very clean cut. I'm so glad I found this spot. I got acrylic tips with gel polish and I paid about 56$ and then I paid my tip in cash.

Came here on a recommendation of a friend and was really looking forward to trying an Alexandra salon. It was a way to catch up with a friend while getting our nails done for the following weekend. Alas, our experience was closer to some of the other less positive reviews and for all that it was one of the more expensive mani/pedis I've evhad. The level of detail and subtlety was not really there and on top of that I received a judgmental comment on the physical appearance of my nails despite the fact that it is just how my nails have been all my life. Perhaps, if you come here by yourself and keep an eye on everything they do, you might get a better service and outcome. We were chatting to catch up, so maybe that had something to do with the quality we received. I don't know, but in any case, below are the details of our experience. First, we came together with my friend and even made a reservation for the two of us. However, after we came, they wanted to start her with a mani, while putting me in a pedi chair, even though two pedi chairs were available side by side. So, we had to ask to be put together. Pedi: came out OK, but both of our technicians were really aggressive with our nails and cuticles to the point where we had to tell them. Mani: felt super rushed. On the hands, they actually didn't do much about cuticles or other loose skin. I understand if they did that because of our feedback on the pedis, but we had our manis done first. The nail shape was not very uniform - some fingers ended up more squarish and others more rounded. Also, gel was applied very sloppily and was all over my cuticles and skin. I had to do additional cleanup at home afterwards, trimming both my cuticles and excessive gel. But of course, my very detail oriented technician made sure to tell me that my nails are not perfectly flat (as she called it "wavy"). My nails have been this way as long as I can remember - a physical difference (my mom has it too), and pointing it out like it was something that needed "fixing" (and rather loudly for the rest of the salon to hear) made me feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome. UPDATE: I had my mani done this past Sunday, it's Tuesday morning now (not even 48 hrs past the mani), and here is how my gel manicure looking now (see t. Please note I was not doing any extra scraping with my nails and such, just had a regular day at the office. Did t even cook a full meal - just threw some things into the oven. UPDATE #2: attaching a photo from Wednesday morning, just 2.5 days from my manicure.

Overall I was fairly happy with the results (acrylics). It was my first time getting acrylics so I had alot of questions but unfortunately the language barrier made for a silent, awkward, and "what's gonna happen" next appointment. I had no idea what I paid until I checked my bank account when I got home, it was more than I was expecting to pay. Their website said $50 but it was $65 plus an expected tip. Their website said 45 minutes but it took 1.5 hours. Nice salon environment but will look for a new place.

I give this place five stars. My nail tech is Jennifer and she always does an amazing job on my nails. I love coming here and always walk out loving my nails! 10/10 Recommend 21 Nail Lounge and Jennifer!

Monday's Chip, minor so I let it go.

I wish I could say that I had a good experience here like some of the other reviews but I didn't. This was my first and last time coming here! Sunday, April 9, 2017: I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure. I decided not to get the pedicure because they were far too busy. They weren't very personable, I just thought "whatever they're busy". I came on Sunday because I knew it would be hard to get here during the week. Monday, April 10, 2017: the first chip on my left thumb, but it was minor so I just let it go. Tuesday, April 11, 2017: the second chip on my right thumb, this time, much more noticeable. I decided to go back and get them fixed, after all, I paid $45 Wednesday, April 12, 2017: I sit in 5oclock traffic after work to get to the shop for a repair. They weren't nearly as busy as Sunday, but still not very personable. The same Tech fixes my nail. She rushes through it. I leave the shop at maybe 6:30 Wednesday, April 12, 2017: I go have dinner, watch tv and then notice the third chip again on my right thumb. This time there's a huge bubble in the nail. Of course I'm furious because now I have to go to work with a janky nail. Thursday, April 13, 2017: I fight 5oclock traffic and I go BACK to the nail shop. The nail tech says AGAIN! Yes! AGAIN! Then she proceeds to tell me that oh it chips easy because my natural nail is naturally oily! I get gel nails all the time! I've never heard this before and I've never had this issue. This whole ordeal has been a huge inconvenience and I will never step foot in that place and give them my money for such piss poor service! See Pictures

Ask the Community - 21 Nail Lounge

I'm looking for a new nail salon and I realized they did SNS nails and I was wondering if they add tips before they dip the nails in or do they only use the natural nail?

Hi! I've had them done both was (natural nail and tips). They both last a very long time. The only downside with tips is that they have to file down your actual nail bed to make it lops seamless. I stopped after a few months because of this :(

There seemed to be a little confusion when I arrived about the fact that I had appointments for both a haircut and a pedicure, but after some discussions the staff got it sorted out and started me with the pedicure. I was amused that it didn't take long for my basic pedicure to get upsold to a more expensive one, but the lady was polite about it and, given it was my first pedicure ever, I figured why not give it a try (or maybe I'm just an easy mark). A very nice lady named Trinh did both my pedicure and haircut and she was overall just wonderful. I was happy with the haircut, and she made my first pedicure a good experience as well. I'll definitely be returning and requesting her. Basically, everyone I interacted with was friendly, and the place itself is clean, quaint, and comfortable. Overall I had a really good experience (even while seated for my pedicure as THE ONLY MAN). I am already looking to schedule my next appointment.
