And since they're a "non-toxic" salon, they handwaved it away saying they couldn't fix it. It's unfortunate too because given the price paid, if they had at least asked her if she wanted her acrylics gone before proceeding to unglue them, she would've backed out of having her nails done and we would've enjoyed our time otherwise. But instead this happened and there was no effort made to make it right. I wasn't keen on raising a fuss after I mentioned that it "could've gone better if they hadn't removed the acrylic without asking" and they didn't make an effort to make it right, so I ended up just paying the bill. If you're doing anything more than basic work and especially if you already have anything preexisting you'd like to preserve, avoid this place. There really will be nothing in between them and your nails, whether you want it or not. Worst part was, it was her birthday. --- Edited to add before/during/after photos (before and during were impromptu, so they're not the best, but they were the day of) showing the outcome as well as an image of their listing where they certified that they do acrylics, which was why she picked them in the first place.
