Scott was able to come over last minute with equipment and help me move in two hours. He was very fast, polite, friendly and accommodating. They were able to get everything in my storage unit , which was very impressive. I can't say how much appreciate his efficiency and willingness to assist with a move on little notice. Very reasonably priced. I will be using his services again!

They made clear efforts to be polite and respectful - little things like making sure we went through doors first when talking to them. We had a bit of a complicated move, they made sure they understood our goals and executed them better than we could have. I appreciated that they would good through each room with us before and after items were moved to confirm they were doing what we wanted. They saved us money by efficiently stacking everything both in the truck and in our storage units. We thought for sure we wouldn't be able to fit everything - but there was room to spare when tetris master Brittan was done with it. This was a far more positive experience than I'd have ever guessed. I'm pretty die hard with DIY approach to everything but this was money well spent.

After they left, my husband started going through the truck and saw that they had just placed things in the truck haphazardly and didn't stack from the bottom to the top so that there would be more room for other items. We realize that if my husband didn't intervene, half of our things were going to have to be left behind . My husband had to unload and load both the Pod and the truck, again, by himself. We were supposed to be on the road by noon. We got on the road at 9:30 that night. We ended up driving all night AND we arrived too late to move our things into the new home that has a strict HOA policy of moving only between the hours of 9 and 6 PM. So we couldn't move any of our things in until the next day. The folks that were supposed to help us move in that day weren't available the next day. This was a nightmare. These guys were terrible.

The night before a trip, I was packing and realized I didn't have some garments I'd dropped off. It was 9:30 at night and I was frustrated, so I texted their number not expecting much. I got a phone call back almost immediately, with an offer to bring the dry cleaning to me. Turned out one of my garments hadn't met their standards, so they'd sent it back for further cleaning -- which I appreciated. When I picked everything up after my trip, there was a $50 gift certificate waiting for me. Was I frustrated in the moment? Sure. But the response was fast, personal, and genuinely above and beyond. Also, when I dropped it off, the sign said "anything dropped off today will be done by Wednesday." Well, Wednesday passed and I heard nothing. Once Friday rolled around and I still had not heard anything from them (besides the $37 charge to my credit card), I had to call to inquire, since I needed the dress for an event the next day. No answer. Someone (no idea who) from the store ends up texting me and tells me it "should be done" by the day that I need it by, and also, there is a stain on the dress that they could not remove. Okay, whatever. I just want the dang dress back. So at this point, I'm out $37 and the dress still has a stain on it (the whole reason I brought it in for dry cleaning). I get that maybe the stain just won't come out and that's fine/understandable, but now I am wondering what I paid $37 for. And to get it 3 days after they said it would done (8 days total). We ended up having to take our daughter to the hospital over the weekend, and were there until about 4:00 AM. Probably because of that, I totally forgot CC Recycling was coming for the cars monday morning. I had one vehicle in the garage with only 3 tires on it (2 of which were flat) and another vehicle blocking that one into the garage. I assumed I could get the one vehicle ready to go while the other was being hooked up for the tow, but I totally misjudged how long it would take. Kevin from CC Recycling was incredibly helpful, and patient, while I did the bare minimum I needed to do to make it possible for him to tow both vehicles. The Interstate trucking company that I drive for hauls scrap between scrap yards and to foundries…read morefrom scrap yards. This is the most friendly and helpful yard I have ever dealt with. BTW, most scrap yards are very friendly and helpful, but this yard is at the top of my list! As an interesting aside, I could not help but notice that they had what I assumed was a brand new CAT crane loading me. I also noticed that the Operator was very deft and precise in his "Maestro" level of control while orchestrating the controls of his machine. I learned later that the "New" crane was in fact FIVE YEARS OLD". By all appearance, I would have sworn that is was less then one week old. I have seen a LOT of cranes in many yards. I have seen cranes that were less than a month old that did not look like they were even close to being brand new. I also learned that the Operator was so good that Marion Iron bought the crane especially for him and that he was the only person authorized to operate it. This company has SOUL!

In the past, we had taken a lawn mower for a new carborator, only to have them install it upside down. Later, we had them work on a snow blower, We didn't see it for a couple of weeks after it was delivered to the wrong address, although owner was sure he delivered to our house. It was several houses away, and finally the person living in that house called the police to report it, and we finally got it back. It's a small circle drive, shouldn't be that difficult to find our house where they picked it up!! (They delivered it to house #103 instead of "123" We didn't take any business to them for many many years until recently, we purchased a new Troy Bilt mower from a different store. A a couple of months after purchase, the mower threw a belt and we were told that Wade's was the only place that did their warranty work was Wades or a a city aproximately 50 miles away. We decided to give them another try.... Big MISTAKE! They were nasty on the phone and told us they were too busy and "their customers came first"! We called Troy Bilt, after which we received a message from Wade's they would come pick it up. After a week or so, they brought it back and left it in the driveway parked partially in front of our garage door, if it had been 15 minutes earlier, my daughtter would have backed into it when she backed out of the garage!! My husband was told it would be delivered in the evening, and they came around noon, not bothering to ring our doorbell to let us know it was sitting outside for us to run over!! Then they billed us almost $50 to pick up and deliver even though they are only approximately 6 miles away from our house. In short, this business is run by HIGHLY INCOMPETENT AND RUDE OWNERS!!

When they finally called back, they sent a guy out with less than a 24hr notice so I wasn't able to be home. They were very expedient with sending the service call bill however. I hired another company that fixed the problem in less than 48 hrs from the time of calling him to completion of the job. His fee was half of what Pool Tec gave me as an estimate. I have three friends in town with hot tubs and I'm recommending they use this other company instead of FOOL Tech.
