I've been around a long time, over 70 decades. I seldom find a company who fulfills their promise like ASC did for me. Only a small project, the Classic Sliding Screen Door Kit. It assembled quickly and the parts were quality made. It was packaged strongly and was in perfect condition when it arrived. Screen install went smoothly. They even sent a rolling tool! Perfect instructions too. I mistakenly ordered the wrong color, so I email them asking if they could change it, and they promptly emailed back that it would be no problem! Just a wonderful company who obviously takes pride in their product. I would not hesitate to call them for a much large project, as their ethic tell me they would excel in that as well. read more

I found this company online and I needed a replacement window screen for my house before it sells. I thought they were expensive for what it is; however, they did do a good job with the screen. They shipped it in a wooden box so it didn't get damaged. I will say they take FOREVER to process. I ordered it back on Sep 29th and it came today Oct 22nd. So if you need it fast... I needed a replacement sliding screen door for my mother-in-law. I bought one two years ago through H&D Supply. It was too small and flimsy and did not last, so I was looking for something better. I purchased an aluminum screen door with stainless steel wheels. I noticed how nicely packaged it was. When I opened the box, I immediately could tell the quality of the door frame and screen. However, there were numerous quality control/poor workmanship issues. Most important, an approximate one inch slit in the screen where the material is tucked into the door. This defeats the purpose of having a screen. I'm sure flies and mosquitoes will work their way inside. Another corner had a three inch strand of material hanging out. In another corner, excess material was sticking out. Finally, the latch was wedged against the frame making it immovable . I had to use lube spray and some pliers to work it back and forth to my satisfaction. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in the quality. I don't mind paying two and a half/three times the amount for quality. I did email my views, to no avail. I recommend finding someone who values workmanship. read more

I live in Northern California and am the second owner of my home. My screen door broke and somehow in the repair process I managed to misplace the handle. None of the local hardware stores had a match so I turned to the net. I located the handle on Affordable's website and gave them a call. The screen I was replacing has WHITE pull tabs at the bottom for removal and sits next to two others in a triple window, so I ordered a replacement screen with pull tabs at the bottom assuming it would MATCH THE OTHERS. I was disappointed to receive a screen with BLACK pull tabs. I was NEVER ASKED in the order process what color my pull tabs were. HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT I NEED TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION? I do not order screens every day, nor do I make them for other people. This was Affordable Screen's responsibility, since they make replacement screens. This company doesn't know that there are other color pull tabs in screens besides BLACK? They obviously don't care whether my screen matches the others or not. The screen looks lousy and the black tabs stick out like a sore thumb against my all white window frames. This is ridiculous. A complete waste of my time and $40. read more

Great experience with Affordable Screen Company. We live in North Texas where it gets HOT in the summer. Our house faces west and our family room would get uncomfortably hot due to the western exposure. Matt Dunford took the time to explain the different products and made suggestions to correct our situation. The install team was courteous, efficient and most importantly neat. After installation of the solar screens, our family room is now nice and cool. An added benefit is that the screens have greatly reduce the glare which makes watching TV enjoyable. We live in North Texas and our summer temps. are in the triple digits. I have a thermometer in my bedroom and even with the ceiling fan on and the A/C at 78, my room's average temperature in the late afternoon/early evening is 82 degrees. After installing the screens my average temp. is 75. They look nice from the outside and the inside view is not changed. I highly recommend them. read more
