Great experience! I tried them out after receiving a flyer and brought in a water sample to test. The staff greeted me right away and provided knowledgeable, helpful recommendations throughout the entire process. Excellent customer service, I'll definitely be returning every month and highly recommend them to others. read more

Great service, always helpful recommending items after they test my water. I've learned a great deal since we added our pool in 2021.

I used Affordable to redo my pool. A complete makeover. Grant and crew were in and out in under 2 weeks. All employees left the place clean, were professional and went above and beyond. I got this company referred by another person that used them and was very happy. BTW, I had 2 other qoutes that came in higher and also required deposits. Very professional company. read more

Great people and very knowledgeable. Helped me by rebuilding my older pool pump when I had a pool party the next day.

Love this place. Reasonable prices on pool supplies and friendly helpful service. Thank you !

This place is great, anytime I come in for help for my pool and spa, the staff is always helpful. Other places will try to get you with "well you'll have to pay for our advice" and I NEVER get that here. I don't pay for their cleaning services, but their staff will always take the time to explain what I'm buying, what I need, and how to properly apply it. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

Four quick stars based upon telephone customer service and the bountiful information provided. Three would be an average place, two below average and one just don't go. So four it is based upon universal average customer service. Maybe more or less stars later depending on my future encounters. read more

We had Grant and his crew completely refurbished our pool almost exactly 10 years ago. The quality of the work was excellent and has held up perfectly. We used fairly expensive glass tile in the pool which requires special handling when deep cleaning. We tried some other pool services and none of them were responsive or had a clue what to do with the glass tile. We contacted Grant and had the job completed within a week of contacting them. The work was done perfectly at a reasonable price and the pool looks great. We highly recommended affordable pools read more

Inquired for pool maintenance. Someone came out on time to inspect the pool and do what they need, which was great. Was told they will give us a quote after they work out some numbers and can possible service us the week after it everything was ok with us. Well 3 weeks later and 3 follow up calls from us, we got no quote or call back. read more

Affordable Pools is the pool company you can trust to do Five Star work. Our pool, of 20 years, was in disparate need of a face lift. The tile was falling off and the grey plaster became streaky and needed a fresh look. We received quotes from other pool remodel companies but choose Affordable Pool not only because of the fair quote but they are a local family owned and run business. The quote was detailed with no hidden cost (very upfront). Grant and his team were available to begin the job right away and from start to finish it took just under two weeks to complete our plaster and retiling job. We now have a beautiful very glamorous backyard pool. Nothing like a pool facelift to make a backyard feel fresh and pretty again. For all your pool needs.....I can 100% recommend Affordable Pool to you. This is a company you can TRUST. read more

My husband and I went on Sat 6/29 and Nicholas answered all our questions. He provided several options to fix a broken suction pipe. Hubby is deaf and Nicholas explained patiently and even did some sketches. Bought what was needed and left the store feeling grateful for such outstanding service. read more

Came in over the weekend to buy some things for our new (older) pool. The girl working there was very knowledgeable and guided us in the right direction without trying to sell us on anything we didn't need. Prices seemed inline. Would definitely come back. read more

They aren't really the cheapest, but they have a HUGE inventory, they're very honest, and recently upgraded the whole facility...a pretty big outfit. I dropped off my bottom sweeper for diagnosis and got word on its issues the next day. read more

Great pool store for supplies, water check, etc. Staff is always friendly super helpful. Recently wanted to replace my single speed motor to a variable speed motor. From the get go, I got "guided" to a Pentair even through I was interested in a Hayward because of the high efficiency score. An in person visit was scheduled for 9:00 am and they showed up at noon. That was about 1 1/2 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten an estimate. I won't be changing my in person visits to affordable, but for service calls, I think I will make other choices. read more

My husband and I stopped in today with a lot of questions about our pool. We've never had a pool before, so we wanted to have our water tested and learn some things. Aaron helped us and was so patient and knowledgeable! Although we weren't purchasing anything today, he didn't make us feel any pressure to buy! We will definitely be back to purchase some items soon. Highly recommend this place, ask for Aaron! read more

We had Bob's pool service until he sold to Affordable Pools...what a shame. In the first few weeks Affordable said the filter needed cleaning. Days afterward the water began looking dirty. We called Affordable who said we needed a new motor as it wasn't circulating water through the filter (was working before). Affordable installed a motor for $800 and said that would solve the matter. Nothing changed as the pool looked a little worse each week. Two months later and after a number of calls Affordable admitted the filter wasn't installed correctly. There was no adjustment to the bill. The following month we were notified their costs have increased and our monthly fee would be raised by $45. We were having our street repaved and asked Affordable to skip one weeks cleaning as the street would be closed to traffic. The didn't show and we haven't returned for three weeks as of this date. They don't respond to calls. Affordable Pools bought a good company and within months ruined what had been a great relationship with a pool company. We are now looking for a new cleaner...I wouldn't recommend Affordable to anyone. read more

Great customer service! Always willing to give great advice. I get my pool checked every few weeks!

This place is great. It has a large variety of pool cleaning supplies. I could not locate chlorine for my pool at any local Home Depot or Lowe's and this place had a solid supply! They charge a fee for refill/swap which I think is a clever way to get returning customers. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back! read more

Affordable Pools did a wonderful job on my pool. I wasn't planning on remodeling my pool but with some help from a paver contractor breaking my skimmer during their demo, it turned out the damage done was a blessing in disguise! I called Grant at Affordable Pools, he responded almost immediately and now my pool looks and operates amazingly! Thanks to Tom the tile guy, his work on my water line tile made up for poor workmanship by others on my pool coping! Thank you Affordable Pools for my brand new, beautiful and amazing pool. I have already recommended you to a family member! read more

Extremely disappointed in their follow up (or LACK of follow up). Failed in finding my electrical box to simply change the light bulbs to my pool! I was lead to believe that the work could be done, however, two months of having to call to inquire about their ability to perform the job. NEGATIVE. I was basically left hanging. No follow through, No follow up, No feedback from Affordable Pool. Back to square one. Waste of time!! read more

This review is regarding pool services. We had affordable pools servicing our pool for several years. We were very happy under the previous owner. After the company was sold the service was ok. They were not consistent. More recently the service was even worse. I had to call multiple times about the pool not being cleaned and it was still cloudy and green on the walls after they would clean it. Our dog was occasionally in the yard on the other side of the pool fence and rather than knocking on the door or calling us, they would leave and not even sift it or clean the filter. I was promised a supervisor would call and was given their email in which I shared my concerns because I didn't want to leave a review. No call and no response. We found another pool service and they cleaned our filter and said it was the worst they've seen. It wasn't being cleaned even though we pay extra for it. Maybe because their heavy load of clients or lack of training is the reason but it was disappointing when we were kind in sharing our concerns and they were not responsive. read more

Super happy with the service. Steve has been our regular tech for the last year and we couldn't be happier.

I have been going to affordable pool supply for at least 10 years even the higher price items I purchase through them during there yearly sale, Have never experience bad service in the store. Recently I purchased a Whisper flow pool pump from them and had scheduled them to install in last Friday, They called me on Thursday to set up a time for the install and I had someone at my house waiting for the tech for 2-1/2 hours. After about 4 hours of waiting I called the office to let them know I was not happy about the service and when someone was going to show up. No one ever showed up, no one called me to apologize & no one called to reschedule the install. If this is how the service department does work what a bunch of Crap! Your only as good as you weakest link, if the service is shitty then the review will be shitty. I will be taking my business down the street. My review is based on service only but not calling me back was the deal breaker. read more

This review is pertaining to pool remodeling. Grant and his employees were extremely helpful in updating our once 25+ year pool this last Spring. Grant was very knowledgeable about all the materials, and really provided us with all the options that would work with our personalities and landscaping. We have had several questions about the new equipment and materials, and Grant has always made himself available for questions. (And returns out calls promptly.) Overall, we are completely satisfied with our renovations and would use Affordable Pools again. Thanks guys!! read more

Affordable Pool Supply - Our new pool looks so calm and serene! We got the Roman Bath look we were looking for. - General Contractors Near Me - Whittier, California

I have used Affordable for several years. It was rarely a simple process. A year ago, I hired them to do my weekly service and the tech did a good job. Then they made a billing error and I called on three separate occasions to get the issue rectified, without affect. No one in billing would take, nor return my call even when it was marked "URGENT". I finally made one last ditch effort to reach out to them with the positive injunction that if someone did not return my call by 5:00pm, that I was cancelling my service.I am now using a different service, So far, so good. And I am saving $25.00 a month compared to "Affordable". read more
