I attempted to cancel my Orkin service multiple times via phone and email starting on November 23, 2025. No responses. No callbacks. No acknowledgement. Despite this, I woke up to a pending charge on my card even after clearly instructing them to stop all services and billing immediately. The actual pest control service has been terrible. Spraying was minimal, the roach issue never improved, and during the last visit the technician admitted he didn't even have mouse traps because he "ran out." That means the service was incomplete and ineffective. Ignored cancellation requests + continued billing + poor service = completely unacceptable. I have retained all written communication and call records and will continue escalating this through my financial institution, BBB, and consumer protection authorities until this is formally resolved and refunded. This experience has been exhausting and unacceptable. Proceed with caution.

The assessment wasn't bad, but they did recommend re‑insulating my attic due to the age of the existing insulation. When I contacted Atticare for an estimate, I learned they partner directly with PSE&G on home energy‑efficiency projects, which immediately made the process smoother. Stephen (Inspection & Sales) - Stephen arrived exactly at the scheduled time and was friendly from the moment he walked in. He inspected my attic, measured the square footage, and walked me through all available insulation options. No upselling...just available options. Based on our conversation about my high winter heating bills, he also suggested that my outer walls likely needed insulation. Before giving me any pricing, he made sure I understood that Atticare would secure the best possible PSE&G rebate. They ultimately obtained a sizable rebate (free money!) and a 0% loan for 72 months billed as part of my monthly utilities bill, which allowed me to insulate all three floors of outer walls in addition to the attic. Nick & Crew (Attic Insulation) - Nick and his team also arrived right on time. He explained the scope of work clearly and determined the most efficient way to complete it. His crew worked quickly and had the entire attic insulated in under a day. Victor & Crew (Outer Wall Insulation) - Like Stephen and Nick, Victor and his team were punctual and professional. Because my home's exterior is stucco, he explained the indoor insulation process in detail. His team moved furniture away from the outer walls, covered everything with plastic sheeting, and got to work. I will note that dust mitigation could be improved for walls and furnishings -- not a dealbreaker, but tightening that up would elevate the experience even further. The outer wall insulation work took a bit longer than expected due to the number of holes that needed to be drilled, patched, and painted, but the team handled it diligently. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the services provided and am genuinely looking forward to seeing a decrease in my heating and cooling bills. Not only would I recommend Atticare -- I already have.

He was very friendly and patient while listening to my recap. After looking around he told me it seemed to be flying squirrels and that their course of action would be to set up traps. He offered me their 2 plans. A 30 day guarantee or a yearly plan. He didn't pressure me at all to sign up so I decided to sleep on it. He left and I began cleaning up, I then saw more damage than I had noticed before, I called mike again and he said he'd come right over! He came back and took a look, we came to the same conclusion and I thanked him again. I then opened the door to another room, and I see a BIG BUSHY TAIL I called mike again, feeling sort of stupid. He made me feel like it was no big deal, he told me he would call his coworker mark and they would be by me in 10 minutes. He told me how to close off the room while i waited. They got here and got right to business, they trapped the squirrel and sent him outside. They then looked around for the entrance point and told me that a follow up appointment would be scheduled by phone to next week. I am so pleased with how friendly, patient and kind they were, let alone how good they were at their job.
