Recently sent a few Yelp requests for quotes for putting some bait stations out in my company's parking area. John was one of the first replies and certainly the friendliest and most professional. Moreover, his rates were very affordable and he was accommodating to my schedule. This company does accept credit card, will provide a written receipt, and is forthcoming about rates and fees. So many companies I spoke with were either cash only or had quoted a wide range of costs/fees that made it difficult to gauge what the end result might be. Recently moved to discover I had bed bugs. Initial experience was positive, had a good conversation with someone at the firm. Set up an appointment. They sprayed and then came back and sprayed again for the follow up appointment. My problem is it never worked. I texted the guy back saying I was still getting bitten but I never got a response. 800 $ down the drain! Bites continued for a while until I bought some different pesticides online and treated it myself out of desperation; they seem to be doing the trick. The pesticides he used could be purchased for $100 online and a sprayer for $30. Save yourself the trouble, worst $800 I've ever spent. read more

I had an awesome experience with Bugged Out. Roaches moved into our apartment and the management company's exterminator (combined with my over the counter roach traps) was ineffective. I was at my wit's end when I contacted Bugged Out via their website super late at night and was shocked when he responded right away to set me up for an appt within a couple of days. So today one of my worst fears happened, my brother found a bedbug... ugh! These little critters sure know how to give you a run for your money. I was really worried about it. I contacted about 8 different places on Yelp and these guys got back to me within minutes and helped answer all of my questions... I had a lot! Since I'm out of town and my brother is watching my place I was worried about payment and their availability. I was so happy that they were able to come the same day. They actually came 3 hours after I called! They do everything online which is great. I was able to pay using my card verses cash( some places only want cash.. who carrys cash anymore?) I also liked that they took their time( they called me when they got there and when they left. They were there for an hour) my brother told me they did a thorough check. Patrick explained my next steps. Luckily he didnt find anything else but did suggest that I still spray. Which I am because I dont want to take any chances. I was impressed with the level of honesty and integrity displayed by John of Bugged Out Pest Management. Upon receiving some bites in my apartment I was terrified of having an infestation. I called John to come over and perform an inspection and I was fully ready to pay for the entire apartment to be fumigated. Upon John's thorough inspection, he insisted that my apartment had no traces of the critters I was afraid of and he suggested I wait it out a few weeks to see if I notice any more problems before moving forward. John left my apartment that day without hundreds of dollars that I was ready to pay because he truly believed that my apartment didn't need to be exterminated. I feel as though that's a level of integrity we don't see very often in businesses. When we spotted the first bedbug in our home we immediately contacted Bugged Out Pest Management for help. With their upfront charge of $1,500 to exterminate a one bedroom apartment, it was very easy to schedule an appointment to have someone service our home within 48 hours. We cleared the apartment, as was asked of us. But, when we returned to the apartment it was a complete reck. All the furniture and mattresses were carelessly flipped all over the place. Nevertheless, we just presumed that's what should be expected of a good bug treatment. The rep from the company who serviced our apartment gave us instructions on how to prevent the bugs from returning. We followed all the instructions given. One piece of instruction/advice was to purchase encasements for all the mattresses. Both the representative who serviced our apartment and the office staff who scheduled our 3 bug treatments stated if the bedbugs returned within 90 days that they would return to service the apartment for free as long as we had encasements on all the mattresses. Well, about 6 weeks passed and we saw a bedbug. When I called the office to notify them of the bug as well as to take advantage of their guarantee that included re servicing the apartment if the bedbugs returned within 90 days it was like "pulling teeth" to have the company send someone to service the apartment again. I had to speak to multiple office staff along with the manager. The manager was quite rude and couldn't understand why we needed additional treatments even though I explained myself several times and the company "offers" this 90 day guarantee or they would return to continue treating the apartment. It was quite an intense conversation. But a representative was finally sent to re service the apartment. That treatment didn't seem to work that well either. So I ended up buying a $10 bottle of plant based bed bug spray and sprayed our apartment ever 2 weeks for a few months and the problem was resolved far better than the $1500 service I was initially charged. I would not recommend this company. Their service is poor and priced ridiculously too high and they don't easily stand by their word of offering free treatments if bugs are spotted within 99 days of treatment. I recommend looking into a different company that is more reasonably priced and who actually successfully get the job done. Or just purchase your own bottle of bedbug spray and follow the instructions on the bottle to just treat your apartment yourself. I'm was highly disappointed when trusting this company to help me resolve the bedbug problem I had. read more

I found a bed bug a couple of nights ago and flipped out! After doing a bunch of price quotes, I was glad to find one that was both very reasonable and close to my home. When I moved into my new apartment last year I ask about roaches and mice to be told I would not have a problem. I right away saw a couple roaches and in the months to follow the situation elevated. I keep my place including the kitchen sparkling clean but within 6 months I saw them every day. Eventually it was out of control and after researching and a few estimates I finally contacted Bugged Out to PLEASE HELP!!! They were not as costly as some of the others but I decided to try them thinking my landlord would be much happier with the low price. I started with the $140 2 service agreement with a 30 day guarantee in Dec last year. When the provider came I was prepared to leave for the day but instead was surprised that it was a simple maybe 30 min visit with no bombs or evacuation needed. I was honestly wondered if I made the right choice. I did see a big difference but was still skeptical. I then went out of town for the holidays. When I returned I was Looking for them thinking I would call to have a follow up. To my Shock and Amazement I did not see not even 1 roach for months! I meant to leave feedback but time went on. Yesterday I saw a roach and today another. Thinking back they suggest a quarterly service to keep roaches under control. I just counted the months and I guess I should have had them back last month. With that being said I just called today to have them come out again and requested the quarterly contract that they originally suggested to have them remind me that it is time again. I am serious about this review and Truly, Highly recommend Bugged Out to EVERYONE with a roach issue. Trust. Bugged Out Pest Management was recently employed to exterminate the apartment I am renting of water bugs. When John arrived to perform the extermination he walked me through each step and pointed out problem areas and areas which could be improved to prevent further infestation. I was grateful he did this as I am renting this unit from a private owner who lives out of state and needs to be made aware of each of the problem areas. After leaving I requested a written summary of the extermination and for John to include his professional opinion of the situation. What I received was an illegible hand-written receipt of the procedures performed, which was highly un-informative as to the extent of the situation or the potential measures which could be taken to improve the situation. After several phone calls and emails I finally received another note with similar information, but this time typed so it could be read more clearly. During this process I received notice from Bugged out that this was not something they usually provide, which I find strange as it would seem a small business would want to ensure their customers are as informed as possible, especially when dealing with renters and owners directly, as information will need to be shared clearly between both parties. When searching for pest control companies in the future I will make sure to choose a company more invested in their customers satisfaction, rather than a bottom line. read more
