We hired AFD and were very lucky to have Tim be the team leader. These guys worked their butts off and didn't leave a scratch, ding, dent or mark on any of our stuff, the old house or the new house we moved into. They were all so pleasant and very attentive to where everything needed to go. They always asked and never assumed where items needed to be placed. They disassembled and reassembled everything, as well. The pricing was very fair. I can't say enough great things about them! read more

Showed up on time with ample notice. Guys were respectful, courteous, and went above and beyond. They worked clean and fast while carefully moving each of my items. They even wrapped and boxed items that needed it. Very reasonably priced for great quality of work. Great experience from start to finish. I will be referring to family and friends! read more

AFD Movers is the best moving company we've ever worked with! We hired AFD Movers in 3 different occasions and they did amazing jobs every time. Their movers are very nice, polite and hardworking, their quote is very reasonable and without any hidden fees, their sales and customer service team are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a moving service. read more

They do much more than moving from point A to point B! We used this company in the past to move from one house to another but then decided to renovate so hired them again to load a POD. These guys know what they are doing! They were able to utilize every inch of space and managed to get our whole home and garage into the POD. We will definitely be using this company in the future for any moves....and for unpacking the POD! read more

AFD Movers - Not just for moving locations! - Movers Near Me - Irvine, California

This is my second move with AFD Movers. This time it seemed like we had the "A" crew for sure! Our 3 man team had everything done in 6 hours. They were so efficient and knowledgeable. Total solution seekers. Will use again and recommend to others. read more

Doiji and Sam did a terrific job with my move. Not only did they show up exactly at the time promised, they were so efficient, quick, and careful. I could not believe how quickly they moved and packed/wrapped all of my stuff! They were also super proactive and asked if I needed help moving stuff out of my car since we had a bit more time - this was truly going the extra mile! I would 100% hire them again. Jen was very responsive. It was also awesome that they did a military discount. Not sure what these negative reviews are about. I was presented with a contract before they even started work. They were very clear about pricing and there were no hidden fees ( like gas or a "service" fee like many other movers). read more

I didn't have a great experience with my move. The movers were nice, but unfortunately they broke a standing lamp (2/5 of the glass shades shattered) and the pot for my indoor tree. I was disappointed because these were quite expensive items and they offered a 5% discount which was not even close to covering the cost of even the pot. On top of that, they were going to leave without putting my sectional back together. I had to ask them to do that before they left. I've moved several times in the last few years and have always used Pure movers but wanted to try something different. Will definitely not be using this company again. read more

Update: Rocky, Eric and Max are great and polite but they forced us to write yelp reviews for them. They were very insistent and pushy to a point where they won't leave until we write a good review. We did not appreciate that. They also lost the screws the my squat rack. They were specialized screws and they didn't take good care of them. Now I gotta replace a $300 equipment. Make sure to look elsewhere for movers read more

They did a wonderful job. The team was on time, quick, efficient, kind, and handled my items with care. I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to my friends and family. read more

I freakin HATE moving & I'm not a cheapskate, but I do enjoy a good deal {some might even say I'm 'frugal'} either way, I found AFD Movers to be reasonably priced & at the ready in a pinch. However, other reviews may not have, as the idea of 'budgets & good deals' are entirely subjective. What works for me, may not for you. That said, here's my honest opinion on the experience I had with AFD Movers, today. Customer Service = 5 stars Efficiency = 4.5 stars {stairs no elevator @ old place, not their fault} Value = 5 stars Didn't break any of my sh*t = 5 stars Overall price = 4.5 stars {promo's are always appreciated by customers, Ijs...} Jen, Alex & Eugene were all awesome! The value, professionalism and quality of service were outstanding. I initially reached out to AFD Movers for a quote and was greeted by a pleasant woman named Jen who aided me in putting my move in motion. We discussed time, pricing and agreed that I should only need two movers. I will as not ready to proceed at that time so Jen put me on calendar tentatively & sent me a ballpark estimate for service. After finalizing the details a day or so later, we were good to go. This morning I received a call from Eugene saying they could arrive sooner than expected if I was cool with it. Shortly thereafter, two gentlemen arrived to facilitate the move process were Eugene and Alex, they were both polite and considerate of my time & belongings. Eugene started with a brief explanation of the move strategy and Alex proceeded with wrapping furniture and staging for the rooms and truck. Eugene and I wrapped up the contract and proceeded to also jump in. Eugene kept me informed on any adjustments to their strategy along the way, and got my move completed in a reasonable timeframe as to not "break the bank". Thank you again to everyone who aided in getting this sh*t over with! read more

The guys worked hard and got the job done, but they were pretty rough with my belongings and damaged a door jamb in the house I moved out of. Later, I found that they filled all my garbage cans with their wrappings, etc. I feel especially silly for overtipping.- read more

They were amazing, and made the whole move way easier. They even helped put up a little gate for us so I would recommend to family friends or anyone with a big move coming up! The value was well worth it too. read more

Super friendly. Really responsive. They disassembled the furniture and then reassembled it when it got to its location. They wrapped everything nicely. My only complaint was that they tried to charge me double drive time when it was time to pay, but did not tell me that when I asked for a quote over the phone. They also chipped my dresser, which was a little disappointing, because it was relatively new, and in great condition, and when I pointed it out, the mover couldn't have cared less. That part was really disappointing. read more

The guys were great & moved quickly and efficiently. However, when unpacking the truck into my new place, a lot of the food that was packed in boxes were put in other rooms and not in the kitchen and were put upside down and left for me to find a couple days later. I ended up having to throw out more than four or $500 worth of food. Also, my deep freezer was not plugged in as I requested even though it was put in the spot that I asked them to put it in the kitchen. So, there was food left in the deep freezer, and it all ended up having to be thrown out, which was about another two or $300 worth of fish and chicken and other meats. So all in all, I ended up losing $700-$800 worth of food that I now have to replace. So when, using this company, which I actually recommend, just be very attentive as to where things go, other than that, they come highly recommended... read more

Tony and Almaz were fantastic! They were prompt, came prepared, were well equipped, and they worked fast and efficiently. It was a tough move into a condominium with many stairs and tight spaces. I was impressed how efficiently they handled it. Thanks guys! read more

I would give this company 10 stars if I could. I chose AFD Movers because the the hourly rate was affordable, with a 3 hour minimum. The time you're charged begins when the movers arrive to your address, not when they leave their facility, as some other companies I called. The day I moved, rain was coming, another mover was called in to assist, at no extra charge. Their attention to detail was outstanding!! One of the men took the time to wrap a tall potted plant so it would not get damaged. They were very professional and handled all my furniture with excellent care. I would highly recommend this company! read more

Ken was professional and a great communicator. The entire team was tremendously careful and hard working.

Sooooo with a perfect five star rating you would expect a high level of customer service.....On Yelp I saw that they covered the area I was looking for a pool table move and requested a quote (as suggested through their Yelp page). I put that I was flexible on the dates, and IMMEDIATELY received a auto response from a bot letting me know they were not available for my time request (even though I said I'm flexible). So long story short, go with a more "hands on" company that prioritizes people and accuracy of quoted areas over "easy to use bots". For reference and too see the interaction with your own eyes check out my photo! read more
