My daughter's gown was a complicated job as it was embroidered tulle with beading throughout. Nur upgraded the built-in bra, hemmed it so it didn't cut off the design in the front, tailored it to fit her perfectly and created a ballroom bustle that made her train completely disappear and transform the dress into an elegant gown. Really a first-class job! Furthermore, Nur is very responsive, on top of her communication/timeline and her prices are reasonable. 5 stars!

I can't really remember, but I think she charged $45-$60for a bridesmaid dress, taking the sides in, bringing the neckline up, removing the boning. The bridesmaid dress had a lot of layers on the skirt part and on the cap sleeves. For my dress, she wanted me to come for a 2nd fitting to finalize and then I picked up a few days later. Nabi Tailoring responded quickly and so did another tailor with lots of good reviews. Went to both for a suit set - Nabi Tailoring won me over. I walked in and he quickly measured me for some hemming, taking in the sides of suit skirts, dresses, jackets, and even moved a button up for one of them. He listens to what I want and makes it look even better than I imagined. When I came back to try on for the first time, I was so happy I hugged him! Since the first set; I've brought 4 other suits to get fixed up. I will continue to bring 2 suits at a time until I get all of them perfect. I don't have a rush so it's usually a 2-3 week turnaround time but if you need it sooner, I'm sure he would work with you.

I was in the process of buying a wedding dress, but I thought why not have Lydia make it for me since it is a very special dress and no one else will have the same exact one! She has done many of my things for me for example men's shirts, pants, bridesmaid dresses. One time the dress the bride wanted didn't come in a bigger size than a 10 so she was able to get two dresses and make it into one. It turned out great, like it was never added!! She's also made my bathing suit smaller in the bottoms, it was too long If you're looking for a great place to get your items altered go to Lydia! Marina at Le Caprice is a lifesaver!…read more I ordered a Vivienne Westwood gown from a very popular bridal shop. When I tried it on during pickup, I knew something was off. It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! Not only that, but I was completely comfortable in it when I was sitting and eating at my reception (: Marina was able to complete the alterations super fast at a fair price and I think the corset was elegantly executed. I highly recommend coming to Le Caprice!

Fast forward to 2025 and my beautiful daughter followed in her momma's footsteps and also purchased her gown from Trudy's and we went right to Danielle at Just My Size. Her new location is right next door to where Trudy's Bridal is moving to so I can only imagine how busy this little shop and its AMAZING team are going to be. Speaking of the shop, it's clean, bright and welcoming. Danielle is a master at her craft and really put me at ease because my daughter's gown required more work than I realized. It took several appointments to get it just right but holy moly did my beautiful girl look absolutely amazing. This was her dream dress, and Danielle and her team made it fit like a glove. I don't think people realize how much work goes into altering a dress especially a wedding gown that is extremely detailed. It is labor intensive, which means expensive. I know for me. I was a little sticker shocked, but in the end, it was well worth every penny. You can tell this team loves what they do and it shows in their craftsmanship. I would highly recommend Just My Size to anyone and everyone!

The dress I ordered of course did not fit great and I had to have it tailored. Angelica did a phenomenal job with the custom alterations despite a delicately laced bodice that needed adjustments. She also helped to hem the dress and create a slit for me so the dress was a tad sexier and easier to move in. I really didn't want to be lifting my dress all night to move and I didn't wear heels. I felt like such a princess in the dress after the alterations. She also helped show my maid of honor how to bustle the dress and let us record her showing us how to do it. Since my wedding I have been coming to Angelica any time I've needed anything tailored and am always so happy with my experiences.
