She explained and was honest about the work and told me it would be $35 for one thing and $45 the zipper which she said isn't necessary, she told me to try it on and re explained herself which then i understood what she meant. I went to get my 3 business pants hemmed and Thuy was very friendly, quick and professional with measurements and the execution of service! During the fitting, she made recommendations to adjust so that the pants will still look nice wearing flat shoes. Her pricing is fair given the tailoring costs now and the quality of the hemming work is satisfactory! She is able to do same-day service if you're in a rush but I took my time. I came in on Saturday and they were ready for pick up by Monday. If I could give zero stars I would. Took my formal dress here to be pressed... come back to a permanent line running down the front of my dress. When we asked them to fix it they claimed "it wasn't there", "maybe it was deodorant", " maybe it was the cleaner" and a list of other things. The line didn't disappear within an hour if it was "water" like they claimed. When we asked for a refund they literally Yelled at us. Yelled!!! I don't think I will ever go to this place ever again. I went to get a pair of curtains tailored. A lady told me curtain tailoring starts from $15 on the phone. When I got there, she told me it would cost $50. I was also asked to pay before the work was done. I didn't think through at that moment, so I paid her and left. But when I was walking towards my car, I felt it was just not worth it for me to spend 50 bucks on cutting the curtains short. So I went back and asked her to cancel the order, and that was 2 mins after I left the store. She had not started to work on anything yet. And she told me she couldn't do that, she didn't know how to refund me since I paid her with card. Then she said she was not the owner, only owner had right to refund people on POS machine . I said call the owner then. She replied that as the manager of the store, the policy is she could never bother the owner. So she kept that story going for a while, until she saw I was very firm on canceling the case. Then she used the POS machine and refunded me.( See, she knew how to use the machine and she didn't need any authorization from the owner). I just don't feel great about a business that obviously tried to lie to me. So no thanks. read more

Thuy is the best! She's kind, professional, and genuinely loves making her customers happy. She has fixed many of my clothes before. She fixed my cheerleading uniform, work uniform, skirts, and dresses. She told me her business was affected due to COVID-19, since people rarely leave their houses anymore and to keep her doors open, she started selling face masks made out of cloth. I bought some for my family and will definitely be buying more. They're so nice! And the best part is, she is using left over material from old clothing scraps to recycle them! She also said if you have a particular pattern or print you'd like, you can bring it in and she'd use that to make them. I brought in a dress to get dry cleaned that had some very faint sweat marks on it and I was very happy to would be able to clean it and have it ready in two days. When I picked up the dress it looked fine and I didn't see the stains so I was happy. When I got home and started the look at the dress, it was covered in faint stains all over it front and back. It was cheap to get cleaned but not worth it at all now that I have to buy a new dress the day of the wedding. read more

She used to work at a different shop, but we only trust her and would follow her anywhere. This shop is also bigger than the last one. I went to get a new blazer that I purchased online taken in 1-2 inches. They walked me through the tailoring options to trim up the blazer along with the pros and cons of the look and the cost. We picked a method that worked best for the jacket and the fit I wanted. She turned it around in under 24 hours without me even really asking for that much of a rush (not sure if that's typical) and the jacket fit perfectly. Also it cost less than half of what three other places that I called near by charged. She charged $25 while three competitors quoted $68, $65, and $45 for the same work. I didn't get a red carpet like you might with an expensive Italian tailor, but the owner was Thoughtful, inexpensive, quick, and good quality. Not sure what else I'd want in a tailor. read more

I came in needing a last minute alteration on my dress the day before I was taking a trip. Back in December I had a Christmas party to go to and being the procrastinator that I am, I waited until the last possible moment to find a dress. Due to the fact that I am petite (5'0") and not blessed in many areas (if you know what I mean LOL), dresses rarely ever fit me well. This dress in particular was too long and just looked very awkward on my body. Luckily, I found this place through yelp and saw the glowing reviews and had my dress fixed within one day!!! I walked in and let her know exactly what I did not like about the dress and she was very receptive to my requests. This was my first experience having my clothes professionally hemmed and I was so happy with it! It fit my body perfectly and didn't have the awkward gaps here and there that I'm sure we are all too familiar with. It was such a job well done and the price was right! I have come here before to get slacks hemmed and they did a great job. I brought in my Army uniform to have some name tapes sewn on. They assured me that they have done military uniforms in the past and not to worry. When I got home and really got a good look at my uniforms I noticed that the name tags are not even with each other. They did a good job on my pants. I've taken several items here to be altered and I've found the prices to be fair. I want to give a higher rating than a 3 star, but in honesty I cannot. I think the customer service is a little lacking. I had dropped some pants off to be hemmed. On picking them up I went to pay for them and pulled out my debit card. The bill was $9. She said if I wanted to pay for the pants with a card she would have to charge me more. I looked around and saw no notice to that effect and said as much to her. She made no response. I again said she needed to have that posted if that was her policy. Again, no response. I ended up paying in cash, but left very irritated with her. The lady that works here is so sweet and nice too...(and I'm kicking myself right now because I can't remember her name). What I especially appreciated is one time I brought in a leather skirt that would have been ruined if dry cleaned, but she proactively stopped and advised me on a better alternate method of cleaning it instead, instead of taking it and having it ruined (something that's happened at other places that care less about what's best for you). This place was the most disrespectful, unprofessional "businesses" I have ever been encountered with. They lost the dress I got married in. For about a month they made up different reasons as to why they didn't have my dress. First excuse was that there was a stain they had to get out so it would take longer. Second excuse was that they sent it off to another business and had to get it back. Third excuse was that they must have given it out to another client and they would refund me 10 times the $8 I paid. This dress was a $300 black dress that was given to me from my mother... Just because it wasn't white, didn't mean it didn't have EXTREME sentimental value to it. The owner of the store yelled at me on the phone saying it was not her fault and "this has never happened".. I told her I needed her to find my wedding dress and she snapped back at me "IT IS NOT A WEDDING DRESS.." So now I'm left with $80 and no wedding dress. AWESOME. The owner was extremely rude and had NO SYMPATHY what so ever to the sensitive situation. I will be reporting this "business" to the BBB. DON'T GO HERE. read more

Thui who I presume is the store owner did a fantastic job fulfilling a request I had on such short notice and she and I hadn't even built any rapport yet. I asked her to tailor 2 of my suits and I am normally accustomed to waiting a few days for 1 suit in general to be finished. Thui finished both in that same day!!! Not to mention her store is very clean, she has a friendly smile and amazing attitude to go along with it. WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! The worse! I tried for two years to give them a chance to get it right...and it went down hill. The previous owner altered two dress shirts and ruined them! The new owner could not get my dry-cleaning order correct...not once! I requested medium starch on my shirts and that never happened...I reminded each time but that was to no avail!...She just did not care. The straw that sent me out and to never return was... I asked for sheet of cloth to be cut (1 cut then sewed together total sewing 55 inches)... she asked what was it for which I said was for a simple curtain to hang on simple rod... she quoted me $25... I explained that was high but she explained she would clean and press to look professional...and I accepted... on the date supposed to be ready it was NOT... I came back 1 week later and it was sewed and she handed it to me without cleaning and without pressing... I told her that I would never do business with her again!
