We've been wanting to wash some comforters; in the past we went to full service laundry shop and paid a lot, sometimes even more than the cost of the item washed. Found this Launderlux near us through yelp, we were impressed with the spaciousness, cleanliness, availability of many machines of the store. Being inexperienced with self service laundry mat we were also very appreciative of how friendly and helpful the attendant was. We spend a total of 1.5 hours which included doing some grocery shopping at nearby Nob Hill while the comforters were in the dryer. Even by using the largest 90 lb washing machine the total for washing two comforters plus drying came to less than $20 which is a fraction of what we used to pay. Hubby and I were quite happy with our first experience here and will be coming back again soon. read more

Solid and reliable, this laundromat is clean, doesn't smell, and has a variety of machines with various capacity. Our last apartment had in unit laundry, our current place doesn't. The nice part is it's a massive time saver. With only in unit machines, laundry could take all day. At the laundromat, it is an hour or so, then done. Laundry for a couple, once a week, costs about $20 here. Why not 5 stars? It isn't perfect. One machine has water on the floor - looks like a leak and I don't think it is air conditioned. And, either way, some large fans mounted in the walls would help with the humid heat that builds up. But, fast, clean, and convenience is worth 4/5 stars. read more

2nd time and am really impressed as to how clean it is kept and the care that is taken to upkeep the machines. An attendant is present cleaning and assisting the customers as needed. Probably the best laundromat I've gone to ever! I like that the machines have signage that informs the customers of capacity. I also like that it's either coins or credit card ( Visa, MC, Disc., Am. Ex) friendly. Plenty of seating while you wait. Several folding tables provided. Change machine. Clean bathroom. Several trash barrels around the laundromat. And a 7eleven is next door. Went on Sunday after 1:00pm, was busy but not crowded. Clean, very efficient. All machines worked, did colors and whites in 2 separate units, washed quickly and used dryer and was done in 20 minutes, had plenty of room to fold cloths. In & out in less than 1 1/2 hrs. read more

This is the cleanest laundromat I have ever been in throughout my entire life!! The attendant is always super helpful and really nice. The garbage is always emptied and the floors and benches are clean. They also have a big screen TV. There are three huge marble tables to fold laundry. The clientele is really nice too. Well, I wanna say Julio with glasses, older gentleman he's a freaking asshole Hella rude I asked for the key to the bathroom. He said he walked away from me and I said hey and then he gave me that look like I was bugging him anyways he told me no bathroom is broken then one of the washers. The big one didn't wanna start up and it took me forever to find him. I don't know where Julio was after five minutes, but he wasn't in the office and he wasn't in the washing the thinghorrible experience with Julio but the washers and dryers were great. A friendly staffed business that offers drop off laundry service (yes I tried it) which gives you clean, folded results when you pick it up. Ventilation system is excellent on hot days and staff is constantly cleaning, especially the dryer filters. Forgot something at home-no problem! You can purchase soap, bleach-even nylon laundry bags. Staff is very helpful and greets each customer with a smile. As previously mentioned, there are huge machines that can handle all your needs. I don't think the washer here use enough water. I sat here and watch the washer, it took 34 minutes to wash, after 10-15 minutes, I saw that my close are barely wet. After 24 minutes, with 10 minutes remaining my cloth only look dam, not soaking wet. This is disgusting, and cheap practice. If you have a car cover that needs a good wash -- this is THE place to take it! They have two 90-lb washing machines and while no car cover weighs that much, they are still a LOT of fabric that just won't fit into any normal washing machine. These Landerlux BIG washers complete their cycle in 30 minutes and the spin cycle is so fast my cover came out almost completely dry. I hated fighting for the washer and dryer in my apartment complex. I decided to try out a laundromat. Launderlux was the closest one near me. This place is located in a small plaza next to a gas station and liquor store. There's limited parking for the plaza but I've never struggled to find parking here. I've been going to Launderlux about 4 maybe 5 times now and I have to say I love it here!!! I love how spacious and clean this place is. The staff is nice. There's a quarter machine and they have detergent and dryer sheets and soda/snack machines as well as tvs. I love the two large folding table areas. There's also plenty of washer and dryer machines with varying capacities! So awesome! I love that there's benches to sit on as well. I love that they take card or quarters here. I've never heard of a laundromat taking card so that's awesome bc I rarely ever have cash on me. They also have a folding service for great price. I haven't used it yet but it's great for those who hate folding. Definitely recommend this place. read more

I had been going to the Launderlux on STA for a few months and it was alright. Thought I'd try the new one today and I wish I had started going earlier! The machines are new, the air circulation is better, and the folding tables are huge! It looks much cleaner and much larger than the STA location. I'm definitely a fan and will be coming back in the coming months! See photos for more details. There are washers for 2, 3, 4, 6, and I believe the massive one is 7 loads. The dryers have a 2, 3, 4, or 6 load capacity. Plenty of carts. Coin bags and vending machines are available. There's an ATM inside in case you need cash. There are restrooms available and you'll need to ask for a key. I saw a wifi broadcast, but didn't ask for a password. You'll be able to connect to xfinity's wifi if you're a customer. read more

Staff (Marcella) told me not to use the table because she will be using it to work on folding laundries from her customers. There are 3 large tables and all were being used by staffs. I asked Marcella that I need to use part of the table. She ignored and intimidating by talking to other staff about me saying I didn't even ask and I shouldn't be using the table. Love coming to this laundromat when doing my bedding. The women who run the laundromat and constantly cleaning machines and wiping down shared surfaces. Since the machines are constantly being cleaned which includes the dryer lint traps being emptied, you're not being overcharged for drying! I'm always in and out in about and hours time. I've been coming here for some time now. The staff are responsive if there's issues and otherwise keep to themselves. I appreciate the bathrooms are locked and relatively clean. The place opens on time and it's best to get there early. There's usually 1-2 machines out of service but it will be marked and there's plenty of others to use. My only issue is that some washers have bleach left by previous customers so I always have to check for that on top. Nonetheless, not the establishment's fault. It's always clean here and the crowd is appropriate to where I, as a single woman in my 20s, feel comfortable going alone. Highly recommend! Will continue going here. read more

I'm here now and although it's a nice place and previous comments are true, they lost my trust. Number one rule is don't touch other people's shit. If a rolling cart has baskets in it, YOU DON'T TOUCH IT. I walk in and go straight to three medium sized washers and start filling them up. An attendant walks right over to me asking if I was using them... obviously yes. I nodded. Then I go sit in my car for 26 minutes and come back confused because my basket is missing and someone moved my items. The attendant quickly pointed out my things as if she placed them there. So I wander back to the front and get another even though there's 6 unused carts and barely any customers. Why? Please tell me why. First time my baskets been jacked for literally no reason. Today August 4 I came to the laundry between 11:30 and 1:30 and it turns out that the woman who attends there was very rude to me and two other customers because it turns out that she went to her lunch and turned off the machine to change coins. I went to interrupt his lunch to explain that the machine was not working and he told me very rudely that the machine turns off and it has a sign that says it turns off at lunch time, she told me too call my boss . I called so many times the nunmber and nobody answered . She came back and the costumer were waiting to change coins, It is true that it has a sign but it is ridiculous that don't explain what time or for how long it is their lunch. She was so rude with another costumer showing the sign telling him that the sign has been there for so long but again how we supposed to know at what time the lady going to go or back. Hands down this will be my go to from this day moving forward. My family and I recently moved to a new place and come to find hour there was a problem with the plumbing in the garage with a water leak so we couldn't hook up our washer and dryer. I walk in to this place like a lost child in a toys r us as I hear they will be obsolete. The washers and dryers are high end and up to date. They even have their washers with fascard where you can swipe your debit cards. Long gone are the days where you have to find quarters and bring your $10 quarter rolls from your neighborhood Starbucks. Unfortunately they only have 4 dryer machines with that option but I got over that real quick. Best part is that as I was standing staring at this machine, one of the employees here came up to me, greeted me, asked and showed me how simple all this was.
