Angelica tailored my wedding dress for me and she did an incredible job! It fit immaculately, and was very comfortably supportive and snug on my wedding day :) I loved how she did my bustle as well, she made my dramatic train tuck up beautifully for the reception, and the way she installed it was genius. Average wedding dress tailor cost, and so happy with the results! And her shop is very cute, easy to get to, and she made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend! read more

Angelica tailored my wedding dress for me back in 2018. I was so nervous about finding a dress that would fit well because I am plus sized. The dress I ordered of course did not fit great and I had to have it tailored. Angelica did a phenomenal job with the custom alterations despite a delicately laced bodice that needed adjustments. She also helped to hem the dress and create a slit for me so the dress was a tad sexier and easier to move in. I really didn't want to be lifting my dress all night to move and I didn't wear heels. I felt like such a princess in the dress after the alterations. She also helped show my maid of honor how to bustle the dress and let us record her showing us how to do it. Since my wedding I have been coming to Angelica any time I've needed anything tailored and am always so happy with my experiences. read more

I was searching for a reputable place to take my new designer wool suit to be tailored. Upon reading the reviews of many places, I settled on Angelica's. I was able to walk in and was helped right away. I was quoted $110 for moderate adjustments to the blazer and mild adjustments to the slacks. Despite being the holiday season, I was able to pick up my suit in approx 1 week. They did a beautiful job. I would certainly recommend this place for suit tailoring. read more

Angelica is a life-saving angel! I had to quickly lose weight because my dress did not fit 3 months out from wedding day. My previous seamstress told me to reach out to her again by a certain date and when I did - I never heard back from her. Panicking I called Angelica to see if she could squeeze me in 5.5 weeks out until wedding day. She was able to see me right away and there are no words for how amazing she is! She listened and encouraged me in a time when a bride is very stressed. She talked me through different decisions and alterations. Luckily my dress fit and she mostly had the shoulder/bust area adjusted a little and a significant amount of length taken off. The dress was a sample and needed a new clasp and zipper which she also had fixed. I went back for 2 more fittings to make sure everything was perfect. She even offered to make scrunchies with the excess material which I decided to use on my bouquet instead. She steamed both my dress and veil before my last fitting/pick up. Quality of service at Angelica's is invaluable. I never felt more safe and encouraged during a vulnerable high stress period of my life. I cannot thank her enough and will be continuing to recommend her to as many people as possible. She is worth every penny. I plan on going to her for all other future alterations. Alterations done: hemming length, shoulder adjustment, new clasp and zipper, bustle, cups added in bust read more

Angelica is simply the best! I hired her to alter both of my wedding dresses for my special day in September. She was so fabulous and easy to work with. She made me feel comfortable and made my alteration appointments quick and easy. I had to do three different fittings to get my dress to fit right in time for my wedding and when I put it on the day of my wedding it was perfect. She worked magic because I had lost so much weight that the dress was basically 3 sizes too big - somehow Angelica and her team made it work and made sure it fit me perfectly. She handled my dresses with extreme care and I had no issues with any damage to the dresses. She also ended up altering one of my bridesmaids dresses and she was very happy with how it turned out! I would definitely recommend her to any bride looking to get their dress altered - you wont regret it! read more

Angelica is incredible at her job! She altered my dress to fit my body and add lace to parts of the dress I requested. They give you plenty of time to look over the dress, ask questions, and address any concerns you may have. I highly recommend taking your wedding dress to Angelica, you will be in great hands! All my alterations: hemming, tightening the top of the dress, sewing in some hems to accentuate the back of the dress, and adding extra material on the side of the dress. I "had" a snap missing on my brand-new raincoat (please see the before and after photos). After extensive research, my prayers were answered when I met Angelica this morning (Friday, Oct. 31,2025). Angelica was very honest and professional. There is a special machine that few establishments have and the knowledge base to repair this type of problem. I was very impressed with Angelica's expertise to immediately problem solve with the integrity and sincerity to suggest someone else who could successfully do the repair. One hour later and a couple of dollars more, my problem was solved! My heartfelt thanks to Angelica. I highly recommend her. Great service. Amazing work, they can do just about anything you can think of. Would always recommend them!

Highly recommend this place for all future brides! Angelica is the best! She is super sweet and honest - she will not try to upsell you on something you don't need! I thought I needed to take the dress in a bit and she reassured me it was OK as is. She could've upsold me on getting cups sewn in but rather advised me I could purchase my own if needed. Got a quick and easy hem and we were good to go! Location is super cute and comfortable. She has pretty quick turn around times but don't procrastinate if you have a have a hard deadline! One thing to note is Angelica's prices are not cheap, but why would you want to cut corners on your special day?! Angelica's Custom Tailors - Thank you Angelica!!! - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Campbell, California

Back in 2015, I came to Angelica's to get a bridesmaid dress fitted for my stepbrother's wedding. I am extremely petite (4'8, 80 lbs.), so I wasn't sure the dress would fit well even after getting it altered, but Angelica worked her magic and the dress ended up fitting like a glove! Fast forward to this year (2024), I came back to Angelica's to get my wedding dress customized and altered. I knew I would never find a dress in the U.S. that fit my body well, so I trusted Angelica to customize and alter a dress I bought from Asia. The dress was very simple when I received it and I had a specific vision for how I wanted it to look. Angelica made my vision come to life! A few customizations I wanted: add buttons to the back, add a bustle, add sequin/beading to lace parts of the dress, and of course alter it to fit my petite body. Let me tell you--Angelica's hands are MAGIC! My dress was so beautiful, and all my guests kept saying how great it fit. I was so happy with how it turned out and so glad I trusted Angelica to create a dress that was special to me. read more

I had an incredible experience at Angelica's Custom Tailor and I can't recommend them enough! From the moment I walked in, Angelica's exceptional customer service stood out. She was so friendly, approachable, and truly took the time to listen to my needs. Her assistant was also wonderful, helping me in and out of my dress and even bagging it up between fittings. What I really appreciated was that Angelica herself handled all of the pinning and fittings. It gave me confidence knowing the owner was directly involved in ensuring the dress would be a perfect fit. She even offered two different bustling options, using my dress to show me how each style would look, which made the decision so much easier. Once I chose a bustle, Angelica took the time to walk my mom through the process, showing her each step and having her record it so we could replicate it easily on the big day. Before the final pickup, Angelica steamed both my dress and veil, and provided helpful tips on how to keep them wrinkle-free before the wedding. When I finally tried the dress on, the fit was perfect--exactly as I had envisioned. I wholeheartedly recommend Angelica's Custom Tailor for anyone in need of formal alterations, especially for wedding dresses. The care and attention to detail here is truly unmatched! Great services! Made me feel it ease during stressful planning... definitely go there again!

I purchased my wedding dress at trudys and they highly recommend Angelica for my alterations. My wedding was 10/23/21 and I have not stopped getting compliments on the fit of my dress yet. I started working with Angelica in August and had 3 appointments leading to my wedding. She is a master in her profession as a seamstress. She is honest, friendly and really easy to work with. She had me put the dress on and provided me her recommendations which were shorter and tighter sleeve, hemming, bustle and shoulder brought in. She said to leave the bodice alone and I would be set. I trusted her expertise and so glad I did. My dress fit perfectly on my last alteration appointment. She told me I could leave the dress there until I was ready to take to my hotel day before my wedding so she could steam it. She also had me leave my veil so she could do that too. On my last appointment I actually went on the wrong day and she still took care of me! Cannot say enough good things about my experience. If I ever have an elegant dress alterations need I will definitely come here. If you want a friendly honest team to take care of you - this is the place you want to go. It is cute and quaint. read more

Cannot recommend Angelica's enough! The whole staff definitely knows what they're doing here. Angelica was especially helpful in giving alteration recommendations and really takes the time to make sure you know how to properly bustle your dress and make it look good for the day of. My dress luckily only needed a hem and bustle. The fabric on my dress involves multiple different layers and different types of fabric, but they did a great job working with it! My dress was ready to go by my second fitting, so they held on to it for me until it was closer to my wedding day. They also steamed my dress and veil and hung my dress on a nice bust hanger. Alterations for wedding dresses are expensive, but don't let that scare you. Angelica and her team do quality work, so it's definitely worth it to hand your dress over to them for your special day! read more

Angelica is here to prove that sewing is an art. Her work is absolutely beautiful and her prices could be much higher for the quality of work she does. I went to her to get drop sleeves and a bustle for my dress. She hand cut the sleeves from the extra fabric I'd bought and suggested multiple bustles to make the back of the dress look really natural. She very much delivered! She also did a wonderful job with my maid of honor's dress, which was made incorrectly and a good 2 sizes too big for her. Angelica was AMAZING! A co-worker recommended her to me (my co-worker and her sister both had their wedding dresses altered by Angelica.) I drove from San Mateo to Campbell just for her services. She is so insightful and thoughtful. When I picked my wedding dress I measured size 4 in the bust, size 8 in the waist and size 12 in the hips. They had me order a size 12. I took it to Angelica, at my first fitting I couldn't leave the dressing room without holding the dress up. She thoughtfully pinned it to fit my body and showed me two options for the bustle. We went through details on how I wanted it to fit my body. The day of my wedding I got so many compliments of people telling me how well it fit my body. It was a strapless dress and I never had to hike it up. I can't say enough good things about Angelica and her team. They were punctual and made the price and process very clear. read more

Angelica did a stunning job on my wedding dress! Her and her staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole process so easy.

Angelica is so sweet, talented, and meticulous (not to mention gorgeous as well). I was so lucky to have her accommodate me for a last minute alteration appointment for my wedding gown. Prior to meeting her, I was ignorant of this woman's popularity. You need to get on her books in advance! She literally giggled at my request when I called her the first time, before sweetly telling me to come down the next day. Angelica and her darling shop are all things love, bridal, and nostalgic Hollywood glam. She herself, exudes warmth, and professionalism - speedy and accurate in adjusting hems, straps, and waistlines... working with her little cute pincushion with precision. Whenever I ever need special event alterations in the future, I will definitely go to her. You should too! Thank you Angelica! As your name suggests, you are indeed an angel! read more

The seamstress here is INCREDIBLE! She's very attentive, patient, and knows what you need before you even voice it. She's also flexible and will help accommodate to your needs. This place is by no means "cheap". You get what you pay for, and that's quality you're paying for so it's worth every penny! She doesn't look to charge you more than what you need, but knows what will ultimately look good on you. I trust her and her work. Great customer service. If you value the piece of clothing you're bringing in, then this is the place for you. I brought in my wedding skirt (I have a 2-piece), and it was ready to be picked up in 2 weeks. It came out PERFECT. I CANNOT wait for my wedding! After the fitting, post alterations, she had her staff steam the skirt for me, too! The skirt was longer than the bag that it came with and she was worried it would get dirty and wrinkled. She came out with a brand new garment bag that protects my skirt perfectly. I offered to pay for the garment bag and she refused...*tear*. Bottom line: Well worth it. Quality work. Incredible customer service. Perfection. read more

I went in to get my wedding dress altered and a couple embellishments added and should never have left my dress with them. So first of all I went in for help deciding between a few options I narrowed down of embellishments to add to my dress. I didn't know what they were gonna look like till they really got pinned on and I wanted to get a supposed professional opinion. She was extremely rude, she got very frustrated that she had to take her pins out because I wanted to see what the other option looked like, she made unnecessary comments to her assistant about how long my appointment was taking, and just wanted me to hurry up and decide. I didn't even try my third option because she made me feel uncomfortable and like I was a waste of her time. Her ideas were horrible and my main desire to MY WEDDING DRESS she completely shot down saying it was gonna be too expensive for me. Umm excuse me?? Where do u come off telling me what I can and cannot afford. But she was so adamant about how what I wanted couldn't be done and it all could only be done by hand stitch, not that she does any of the stitching anyway her workers do. I left in tears leaving my dress (shouldn't have) to get shortened, a bustle, and two other embellishments put on the front. Ok so the bustle with 2 points was an obscene amount of money, the shortening... too lazy I guess to do it the correct way of taking the bottom up she decides to do pick-ups in different places on the skirt of the dress. Before I tried it on I could literally see ALL the points if these pick-ups. It looked like the dress was being held up with safety pins that a blind person put in. It was so bad and I just wanted to take my dress and run. Needless to say the pickups have been taken out and re done the right way and the additions she couldn't possibly see how they could be done... took it home and did it myself in no time. $900 for a crappy, low effort job, and a snooty, disgusting attitude!! She needs a serious lesson on customer care!!! I DO NOT recommend this place even a tiny bit. read more

I've used Angelica for my wedding dress and a few bridesmaid dresses and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. A few call outs: Angelica is honest - she will tell you if something does or doesn't need be altered. The service is timely - she has not completed something on time when expected. Quality - I have never had an issue with any of the alterations she completed. Keep in mind, I have had her alter very important outfits for me (I.e. my own wedding dress). Last but not least, the pricing was as expected -- I didn't feel overcharged at all. Totally recommend using Angelica's you will not be disappointed. read more

I brought my wedding dress in to be tailored last year. I didn't need any major alterations, just bringing it in a bit, making it shorter, and adding a bustle. I also got a discount since I was referred by the store I bought my wedding dress from, but the total was still over $900. I didn't know it at the time, but that is pretty steep for the alterations I needed. I didn't mind paying because the service was so great and Angelica was so nice. She had mentioned the clasp on the back of my dress was cheap and said she would put a new one in. However, the moment I put on my wedding dress before walking down the aisle, the new clasp she put on completely broke off. Also, the bustle kept coming undone all night, resulting in my dress dragging and becoming filthy. The service was excellent and I really love the location, but I don't believe the quality was anywhere near worth the cost. read more

Amazing service, a beautiful job altering my wedding dress however the bustle she added kept coming undone every 2 minutes and caused my dress to get insanely dirty. What can I say about Angelica to iterate the admiration I have for her talent and compassion for her clients? Angelica is best in class tailoring and if you've got a complicated gown, let her take care of it for you! I had a very intricate detailed Martina Liana mermaid wedding dress with custom sleeves and she made the dress fit PERFECTLY to my body! Angelica cleaned and steamed my dress and veil beforehand so I could be ready for the big day! She also makes custom masks to match your dress and she puts a material in there so it doesn't smudge your make-up as much. Angelica also tailored a couple casual dresses of ours and the practical talent of guiding us through what looks good caught my 5-stars. My mom had wanted to add a bit of fabric to cover the deep V in her dress and Angelica made it look like it was originally intended to do that in the first place. It was awesome.
