I was able to walk in and was helped right away. I was quoted $110 for moderate adjustments to the blazer and mild adjustments to the slacks. Angelica is a life-saving angel! I had to quickly lose weight because my dress did not fit 3 months out from wedding day. My previous seamstress told me to reach out to her again by a certain date and when I did - I never heard back from her. Panicking I called Angelica to see if she could squeeze me in 5.5 weeks out until wedding day. She was able to see me right away and there are no words for how amazing she is! She listened and encouraged me in a time when a bride is very stressed. She talked me through different decisions and alterations. Luckily my dress fit and she mostly had the shoulder/bust area adjusted a little and a significant amount of length taken off. The dress was a sample and needed a new clasp and zipper which she also had fixed. I went back for 2 more fittings to make sure everything was perfect. She even offered to make scrunchies with the excess material which I decided to use on my bouquet instead. She steamed both my dress and veil before my last fitting/pick up. I purchased my wedding dress at trudys and they highly recommend Angelica for my alterations. My wedding was 10/23/21 and I have not stopped getting compliments on the fit of my dress yet. I started working with Angelica in August and had 3 appointments leading to my wedding. She is a master in her profession as a seamstress. She is honest, friendly and really easy to work with. She had me put the dress on and provided me her recommendations which were shorter and tighter sleeve, hemming, bustle and shoulder brought in. She said to leave the bodice alone and I would be set. I trusted her expertise and so glad I did. My dress fit perfectly on my last alteration appointment. She told me I could leave the dress there until I was ready to take to my hotel day before my wedding so she could steam it. She also had me leave my veil so she could do that too. Angelica was AMAZING! A co-worker recommended her to me (my co-worker and her sister both had their wedding dresses altered by Angelica.) I drove from San Mateo to Campbell just for her services. She is so insightful and thoughtful. When I picked my wedding dress I measured size 4 in the bust, size 8 in the waist and size 12 in the hips. They had me order a size 12. I took it to Angelica, at my first fitting I couldn't leave the dressing room without holding the dress up. She thoughtfully pinned it to fit my body and showed me two options for the bustle. We went through details on how I wanted it to fit my body. The day of my wedding I got so many compliments of people telling me how well it fit my body. I went in to get my wedding dress altered and a couple embellishments added and should never have left my dress with them. So first of all I went in for help deciding between a few options I narrowed down of embellishments to add to my dress. I didn't know what they were gonna look like till they really got pinned on and I wanted to get a supposed professional opinion. She was extremely rude, she got very frustrated that she had to take her pins out because I wanted to see what the other option looked like, she made unnecessary comments to her assistant about how long my appointment was taking, and just wanted me to hurry up and decide. I didn't even try my third option because she made me feel uncomfortable and like I was a waste of her time. Her ideas were horrible and my main desire to MY WEDDING DRESS she completely shot down saying it was gonna be too expensive for me. Umm excuse me?? Where do u come off telling me what I can and cannot afford. But she was so adamant about how what I wanted couldn't be done and it all could only be done by hand stitch, not that she does any of the stitching anyway her workers do. I left in tears leaving my dress (shouldn't have) to get shortened, a bustle, and two other embellishments put on the front. Ok so the bustle with 2 points was an obscene amount of money, the shortening... too lazy I guess to do it the correct way of taking the bottom up she decides to do pick-ups in different places on the skirt of the dress. Before I tried it on I could literally see ALL the points if these pick-ups. It looked like the dress was being held up with safety pins that a blind person put in. It was so bad and I just wanted to take my dress and run. Needless to say the pickups have been taken out and re done the right way and the additions she couldn't possibly see how they could be done... took it home and did it myself in no time. $900 for a crappy, low effort job, and a snooty, disgusting attitude!! She needs a serious lesson on customer care!!! I DO NOT recommend this place even a tiny bit. read more

Angelica is here to prove that sewing is an art. Her work is absolutely beautiful and her prices could be much higher for the quality of work she does. I went to her to get drop sleeves and a bustle for my dress. She hand cut the sleeves from the extra fabric I'd bought and suggested multiple bustles to make the back of the dress look really natural. She very much delivered! She also did a wonderful job with my maid of honor's dress, which was made incorrectly and a good 2 sizes too big for her. Angelica was especially helpful in giving alteration recommendations and really takes the time to make sure you know how to properly bustle your dress and make it look good for the day of. My dress luckily only needed a hem and bustle. The fabric on my dress involves multiple different layers and different types of fabric, but they did a great job working with it! My dress was ready to go by my second fitting, so they held on to it for me until it was closer to my wedding day. They also steamed my dress and veil and hung my dress on a nice bust hanger. Alterations for wedding dresses are expensive, but don't let that scare you. I brought my wedding dress in to be tailored last year. I didn't need any major alterations, just bringing it in a bit, making it shorter, and adding a bustle. I also got a discount since I was referred by the store I bought my wedding dress from, but the total was still over $900. I didn't know it at the time, but that is pretty steep for the alterations I needed. I didn't mind paying because the service was so great and Angelica was so nice. She had mentioned the clasp on the back of my dress was cheap and said she would put a new one in. However, the moment I put on my wedding dress before walking down the aisle, the new clasp she put on completely broke off. Also, the bustle kept coming undone all night, resulting in my dress dragging and becoming filthy. The service was excellent and I really love the location, but I don't believe the quality was anywhere near worth the cost. read more

I initially went to Angelica's with my friend for a fitting for her wedding dress and to learn how to bustle her train. Not only is her work amazing she suggests way to help you keep yourself covered under your dress. I then took my bridesmaids maid dress to her to remove the peach lining from the long black dress with a slit as the bride didn't like that. Angelica said instead of making me spend $200 she's just remove the lining for half the price and told me to just wear nude shorts under.
