The crew protected windows, A/C, bushes, etc... They work continuously till complete. They were respectful of the neighbors with their radio, vehicles, and equipment. Once completed, they cleaned up the entire area. We ran into some cosmetic issues and Rob and Matt worked to address the unpredictable challenge of a metal-framed house. The…read moreHome Depot plumbing contractor suggested I may also have a slab leak based on information I gave him and they do not repair slab leaks. I called Icon plumbing. Travis confirmed that I had a slab leak on the hot water side. He also said that they do not usually have to jackhammer the floors, saving my beautiful wood floors. They repair the leak and run a new line through the attic. They repaired the leak located behind the wall of my washing machine and ran a new line, through the attic, from the leak to my water heater. The bottom line was my floors were not jack hammered and after leak was repaired, my water heater did not have to be replaced (saving money). The only repair I had was 4 sheetrock hole repairs which is much cheaper than repairing floors. Icon plumbers Travis and Joe are great guys. They were respectful of my home and left the work spaces very clean. Addendum-I was quoted over $4000.00 including water heater replacement from another company. Icon plumbing made repairs for less than $3000.00 without water heater replace or wood floor repair. My last slab leak was in my master bath. The home warranty plumber jackhammered the floors and charged $3800.00. Plus I had to repair my bath floors. The home warranty company would NOT cover costs and I immediately dropped them.

The fact is, h2oRx is a quintessential 5-star company. From Kayla, who professionally manages appointments, to the technician's helper who does all the heavy lifting and digging, h2oRx has the most skilled, customer focused employees I have encountered in the DFW Metroplex. Their office staff and technicians are simply the best! For example, my regular sprinkler technician of 10 years actually located and partially uncovered my leaking valve. When he saw the complexity and amount of digging required to replace it, he candidly admitted the repair was beyond his expertise. Raul and his helper from h2oRx did a masterful job of replacing the valve (see photo). Kayla had already told me what the repair would cost ($267.80) and the h2oRx team's arrival window. There were absolutely no surprises. In fact, Kyle Jensen was correct when he told me his company could have charged more for this job. I might have grumbled a bit, but the quality of work on this complex job would have absolutely justified a higher price. What caught me off guard was being charged the same amount for a second valve repair performed during the same visit--a simpler, quicker repair that required no digging. In retrospect, I overreacted to the pricing issue. h2oRx's pricing policies are ultimately their business, and had I known ahead of time that the second repair would also cost $267.80, I would have approved it anyway. So, if you want the absolute best sprinkler system evaluation and repair service in the Metroplex, I strongly recommend h2oRx. Everything seemed ok, until they came to remove their fans/dehumidifiers equipment-- then never answered their phone and never calling back, even rejecting calls from the insurance adjuster. Because of this, the insurance contracted another water/mold remediation company to finish the job. Five months later, I received a call out of the blue by this SurfPro company location. First words out of her mouth was arrogant and demanding-- that I owe them $xx,xxx because they could not contact my insurance company (5 months delay ... my phone is on file with them, so why didn't call me months earlier?) I gave them my agent's office number and received call back that my insurance found my policy and no claims have been filed on my policy. They called back while I was talking to the adjuster in charge of the claim. When I made the call 3-way, SurfPro hung up rudely saying she will not talk to my insurance in a 3-way call where there is a witness to the conversation. SurfPro refused to call back the adjuster to solve this problem, but instead said SurfPro is finished with insurance claim, and will be sending a Demand Letter threatening court lawsuit if I personally dont forget insurance and pay their invoice out of my personal funds. I repeated the claims number three times, and SurfPro told me to shut-up, they they know how to file a claim to insurance. After I called for Insurance legal department, the insurance adjuster called them because they refused to call the adjuster (like just after they left with equipment), and suddenly everything became ok -- telling him that they had the wrong claim number after verifying the number as being correct with me several times!!! SO VERY DISHONEST (Insurance has no record of SurfPro ever calling about my policy claims -- all calls are logged into computer and audio recorded to be attached to the computerized report). SO VERY RUDE. Trying to manipulate me using threats of court lawsuit because they never submitted a claim to begin with, faking having a wrong claim number after three times verifying it with me!!!
