After I submitted my request for service, I received a call from Mike, and we discussed my need to clean my drier vent. Mike gave me a quote and set the appointment. The service tech Rob was very professional and performed the vent cleaning. Rob was very knowledgeable and began the work quickly and identifying the issue very quickly. Not only do I recommend Glimmer, but I also highly recommend Rob. I will be getting another estimate from Glimmer to clean all the vents in my home. Be aware of the adds on service and fees. The service was good as any other cleaning carpet but when I call when ask the prices I was told $100 per two rooms and $50 for the additional. I set the appointment and her for a quote on my area rug. Once the guy was here he said $50 for the rug. On the top of my head I said ok $200 by the ends I paid $328. For sanitizer on the water $30 and the rug +$50 and plus taxes that I didn't know what was it. Once the guy was here if the estimate inside the house it's very hard to say no, I don't like the price. Once that I asked the price the person on the phone should explain all the adds on for the price. I always have companies cleaning here and never had issues. These guys are 5 STAR I had two couches cleaned and a velvet chair. The couches are perfect. The chair was not good. It had streaks and the velvet finish was flattened. Mike (owner) came out. He said he would try to clean it again. He offered to REPLACE the chair if I was not satisfied. I did not mention replacement. He did the chair over and after it dried, it looks just great. 1.These guys SHOW UP ON TIME. 2.They are POLITE and PROFESSIONAL 3. They stand behind their work. They put the customer first. I bought a used couch that looked pretty clean but after I got it home I started noticing an unpleasant odor from it. I reached out to multiple upholstery cleaning companies and most of them quoted me double what Glimmer Clean charged me. Not only were they affordable but they shifted things around to get the job done ASAP. This is clearly a small family business and I prefer those over corporations. The only somewhat negative thing I have to say is that the couch smells too clean lol.
