Alex and Raul are the best. Honest and quality work. Aeris was recommended by a friend and I can say the same now about this company. Will be my go to for any future problems. read more

I Needed AC fixed...Alex gets the Job done. Worth every penny. Solid all around. Would recommend.

Alex is legendary! Super knowledgeable on all things HVAC and more. He was able to provide us with the BEST (not most expensive or beneficial to him) solution for US and our home. He also helped us pick out our new thermostat and told us how and where to get the best deals. read more

Exceptional HVAC Service by Alex Alex, Aeris principal, impressed me with his thorough approach. Instead of immediately recommending a new unit, he diligently diagnosed the issue. After upgrading some electrical components, and checked for refrigerant levels he fixed my AC and there is a good chance I will get another 2-3 years out of my 20+ years old AC. What stood out to me was Alex's transparency. Rather than pushing for a replacement, he presented repair options and allowed me to make an informed decision. From the outset, Alex demonstrated professionalism and expertise that exceeded my expectations. Moreover, Alex shared valuable insights about refrigerant standards. As we transition from older units using R-22 and R-410A to the next generation, he advised waiting for the newer AC models to be released (google this stuff if you are in the market for HVAC unit). By doing so, I could align my unit with the upcoming industry standard, ensuring long-term compatibility. I cannot recommend Aeris and Alex enough. Also very disappointed at Anderson and larger companies for just pushing replacement or using crappy sales tactics -- don't use them! read more

The owner is The HVAC Whisperer. He takes the time necessary to do things correctly. He's incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Alex is amazing. So knowledgeable and actually cares about your system and comfort. Very reasonable prices!!

Alex installed my mini split upstairs. He and his team installed it in one day without missing any professional touches. He was on time, no surprise upsells, no excuses. I am very happy with his work, will no doubt use him again If I need it. Thank you Alex! read more

Alex is the owner of Aeris Mechnical. (619-261-2844); he lives in Poway and works out of his office on Carmel Mountain Road. He repairs and replaces air conditioners and heaters. He was recommended to me by a "handyman/contractor" friend. Alex answered my call immediately, and came out to give me a quote within 4 hours. He replaced the A/C unit in one week. I did not want to go to a big company (ASI/Bill Howe, etc.) as often you're put on hold, no one answers, and you never get to talk to the actual person who will be at your home. Alex and his assistant worked all day to install a new Lennox, and had to reroute and redo all the piping to get it up to code. Alex told me that had used Carrier but he had many problems with them. Now he uses Lennox and has had no issues. New A/C runs like a dream. I highly recommend Alex and will use him in the future if necessary. read more

Called yesterday, Alex said he'd be out around 6pm the next day (today). He showed up on time and went straight to work to fix my A/C that wasn't working upstairs. Super friendly, and fixed us up so we had cool air again (it's so hot out right now/summer heat, we were dying!) Great customer service. Knowledgeable. Friendly. 17 (?) years in the business and it shows. I highly recommend. read more

Alex and his team were hired by my GC to install 4 new mitisubishi mini split systems in our new 4 plex development. We spent about $40,000 for the heating and air conditioning units. Now we have a problem with one of the units and i can't even get Alex and his team to call me back and give me a recommendation. Pretty upsetting that they will not even call me back and help me trouble shoot or recommend someone to help us fix the unit. Seems like after spending so much money on 4 complete systems the least they could do is call you back especially since the units should still be under warranty . Pretty Lame ! Jeremy read more

AA-All Services came out and fixed the unit! Due to the intake in the floor not being large enough, it was turning off the furnace. Unfortunately the blower did not turn off - meaning cold outside air would come in! The increased intake did the job and my furnace is now working perfectly. I'm still shocked how awful Aeris was - worst contractor I've ever worked with. If you read this and use them - you only have yourself to blame. read more

Not sure what's up with these guys. A few months ago they were responsive, came to do the job on time and were generally good. However, in the last 2 weeks I left them a few voice mail messages, to which I never got a reply. They are the company selected to do the job through my homeowner warranty so I don't get a say here, but if it was handled privately I'd kick them out by now. read more

The guys were very polite, helpful and worked fast and did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone looking to use their services.

Best quote i got out of 10. Very professional great job. Alex did a very good job on my house. He got me the top of the line equipment for the cost of the entry level equipment the commercial a/c guys were gojng to use. I highly recommend him. read more

Never called and never showed up. Very unprofessional. Put in a service request on Monday via Old Republic Home Warranty for a problem with my A/C. It's now Thursday and a technician hasn't shown up, hasn't called, nor do they answer either phone number for their business. read more

Company has poor customer service. Have called the company to find out the status on ordering parts for my air conditioning unit. Left 3 messages per day for 2 days. still no return call. I've been trying just to find out if the parts have been ordered. I am now on the 9th day since service man was here and still no information. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! read more

Wow! I don't know how anyone could give these guys 5 stars when THEY DON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE OR RETURN CALLS!! If the company is that busy, they need to hire more people to answer phones. This is just ridiculous. read more

What a fabulous company. They are responsive, professional & they do a phenomenal job @ an outstanding price. Illona, the co-owner, was friendly & scheduled me with ease. Alex, the co-owner & individual who came to my home, was quick, thorough & helpful. Once at the house he installed the a/c vents & then did a thorough check of the two units. He added coolant to the units, which I didn't know I needed, & then spoke with me & my husband on how to keep our bill low during these hot days. This is not the first time we have used them, but I wanted the Yelp world to know how great they are. We will continue to use Aeris! read more

This has been one of the hotter years it's been around here for a while. 90+ degree temperatures INSIDE the house. We had previously had two other companies (AA-All Services and West Coast Appliance Services) come out to check out the AC unit and each of them told us that we needed to replace the entire AC because the compressor was dying and other such things. We called AERIS Mechanical to come over and give us a quote on a replacement system. Our tech Alex came over hooked up the instruments and told us it was a simple valve leak and just needed to be refilled. We were ecstatic to hear this! We were not looking forward to the thousands of dollars to replace the unit and this company was honest enough to tell us the truth. A few minutes later he went to the truck grabbed the replacement valve, replaced it, and filled up the AC unit. We had been waiting until we had the cash to replace the unit and went for over 2 months with this heat. From the time he arrived to the time he left was about only 30 minutes! If we had known it would have been this fast we would have called these people sooner. For under $200 we were all fixed up and chillin'! When it's time to service the heater or AC or even replace the unit we'll definitely call them immediately. read more

When I walked into my house in the afternoon on one of the hottest day San Diego has had this year, it was completely obvious that my AC wasn't working. I called Aeris Mechanical, based on the recommendation from a good friend of mine, and I'm so glad I did! I was so impressed with customer service on the phone and with the technician at my house. The lady who answered, was very friendly and helpful! She assured me she would dispatch a tech ASAP! In no time at all, Alex, showed up. He was polite and very knowledgeable. He was able to fix the problem with my unit, and my AC was back up and running in no time! I will not hesitate to call Aeris Mechanical again, and will recommend them to all my friends for a job well done! read more

We are grateful we called Aeris Mechanical when we were questioning if the air conditioning unit at our house was functioning properly. Our initial phone call was answered by a very helpful and kind employee. When the technician arrived (on time!!!) he was extremely respectful of our home, pets and children. He was able to pin point the problem and give a budget friendly solution! We highly recommend Aeris Mechanical to anyone looking for a company that is knowledgable, trustworthy and professional. read more

This company is absolutely terrible, first of all they sent out a repair man who barely spoke English, had almost none of his own tools or equipment then proceeded to open my air conditioning unit up and do absolutly nothing. He then told me to "vacuum the Inside of the unit and everything should be okay", he left and I vacuumed then I tried to turn it on and still nothing. I called the company to have the repair man come back out they said they would have him call me, he never called me back and the company is now ignoring my calls. It feels like I upset my girlfriend and she now won't answer my calls lol choose a different company. read more

They were contracted through my home owners insurance. First they did not set a time just showed up a week later. Then from the time the tech arrived he kept saying he didn't have time for this. After 20 minutes he said it was a plumbing problem and left. Guess what it was not plumbing but an air conditioning problem that I guess he did have time for or just didn't know how to fix. The guy was so rude to my husband he was shocked. THE WORST FOR SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ABILITY!!!!! read more

Customer service was excellent and took the time to answer all of my questions. The time quote was accurate, the technician was prompt and professional. Would definitely use Aeris Mechanical, Inc again! read more

We were referred to Aeris Mechanical through First American Homebuyers Insurance. Our central air conditioning had ceased to work and the temps were in the 90's. Aeris was easy to contact very pleasant on the phone. When Alex arrived, he diagnosed and remedied the issue within 30 minutes. read more

Could not be happier. A/C has not been working the last two weeks and when I finally get around to calling it's almost 5pm on Friday night. Alex called when he said he would, showed up quickly and promptly - within an hour of my first call :). Identified and explained the problem, fixed it and checked a few other items to make sure we were good to go. Enjoying the temp in my house for the first time in weeks!!! Highly recommend!!! read more

To make a long story short. I called Aeris Mechanical a day before, the receptionist was very nice and helpful and booked my appointment. They came out the following day early morning. Alex had our a/c up and running fast. He explained to me in detail what went wrong and what he did. He even helped program my thermostat. Great service, reasonably priced, very helpful. Highly recommended. read more

this place is JOKE,, and its not even FUNNY ,, they don't answer the phone they will not return calls, they LIE, CHEAT, how they are still in business is anyone guess, save yourself time and money and call someone else,, GOOD LUCK They were contracted through my home owners insurance, I'm still shocked how awful Aeris was - worst contractor I've ever worked with. Alex is awesome! He repaired my HVAC system expertly, quickly, and at a cost way below what I expected. His level of service is hard to find at any price. Give him your business. You will not be disappointed. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. Unfortunately we have no choice but to use Aeris Mechanical as this is the company that First American Home Warranty has assigned to repair our leaking AC unit. The initial call was made at the end of July, we are now at the end of August, 5 visits by Alex from Aeris (who by the way NEVER actually ran the AC to evaluate the problem, came to fix it, and in fact now the unit won't turn off or get cold since he worked his "magic.") Multiple calls and messages are left at the only number they provide, with maybe 5% of them actually returned by their secretary, Ilona. Oddly enough, they quickly answer the phone when it's the warranty company calling???!!! Because this is an ongoing claim, I'm rating their customer service & will update once they actually FIX the problem or simply start returning our phone calls. Hard to believe this place is in business, given they aren't the only HVAC company around town, luckily for those who have a choice in who they use!! read more

During a dinner party at my home, I discovered my air-conditioning unit was not working. I called my home insurance company and they placed a work request with Aeris Mechanical, Inc. The claim was made on a Sunday. I was told someone from Aeris Mechanical, Inc. would contact within the next 24 hours. I waited a day and received no phone call. I then called Aeris Mechanical, Inc. I spoke to a woman who scheduled a technician to arrive on Thursday between 8am and 11am. On Thursday, at 8:10am, two technicians surprised my wife who was working in our garage. There gave no warning phone call or anything to let us know they were on their way. It's normal business practice to alert one's clients. The lead technician, Alex, who was accompanied by a technician who never spoke, appeared irritated about something and seemed to not want to be at my house to work. My wife said his persona was both negative and indifferent; and his customer-friendly business acumen needed much to be desired. After directing them to our air-conditioning unit, my wife came upstairs to let me know they were here. She said nothing else. I then went downstairs to meet and greet them. I found Alex at his parts van/vehicle filling out paperwork. I introduced myself and asked had he seen the air-conditioning unit and its problem. I never spoke to Alex's associate, who appeared to be his apprentice, and who let me know through his body language Alex was the one to talk to. Alex said he needed to order a part. I asked what part, and began walking them both back to the air-conditioning unit for them to point it out to me. At the unit, and after I removed the easy-access electrical panel, Alex said he needed to order a replacement contact to correct the problem. The one we were looking at was burnt. He then told me, I had to perform a major structural change to my unit's enclosure before he could do the work. He wanted me to cut out and remove one of the enclosure walls, claiming "he couldn't see" the contact for replacement. This is totally ridiculous! We were standing right in front of the contact and one COULD SEE EVERYTHING! If he couldn't see the contact, how in the world did he make the call it needed to be replaced??? As for the ordering of parts, it seemed outrageous for him not to have a common air-conditioning unit electrical contact, when they drive around in a big air-conditioning repair van. Isn't that like a carpenter not bringing along his hammer? How crazy is that??? Remember, I removed the easy-access panel to expose the contact and ALL the electrical wiring within. Further, I told him the unit's contact needed replacement one before, and the technician who replaced it found no problem doing the work nor did he make special demands of a major or any structural change. I asked Alex when this "structural change" needed to be done. He told me within two days to coincide with receipt of the needed part. I looked at his associate, who as before said nothing, but clearly revealed his thoughts as he shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes at Alex's demands. I told Alex, I would not destroy my enclosure and its concrete foundation for his pleasure. His demands were completely unreasonable. I told him, I would notify my insurance company and have them locate another company who would gladly do the work. I then lead both men off my property and to their vehicle. Alex handed me a work receipt. I asked what it was for, considering he had done nothing at all. He said it was for reference purposes. They entered their vehicle and drove off. It is my opinion Alex did not want to do the work - at all. It is very unfortunate there are people like this who never got the good customer service memo. For those of you out there reading my review, I hope you never have an air-conditioning problem and have to come across this "Alex" individual or his company. It remains baffling. How could a parts and service van NOT have a common everyday contact? read more

Alex is very responsive to texts and phone calls. He came out to change my air filters and check on my air conditioner. Gave good tips and info. Very honest and professional read more

It was extremely hot (like it gets in San Diego sometimes) and - of course - our AC had to stop working. We called a few companies, and only Aeris Mechanical was able to service us that very day. They came to the rescue and were extremely helpful! Highly recommend them - and especially Alex, who came to our place at 7pm to get everything fixed. read more

Aeris was able to replace my entire HVAC system in a short amount of time at a great price! We shopped around for a while and Aeris not only had the best price but made me feel confident that the technician knew what he was doing. He was able to give me tons of info about what made my previous system not efficient for my particular house. I have a tri level home and with my previous unit the top floor never got below 80 degrees. With my new unit, we are saving money and the house cools off instantly! I will use Aeris for any future needs and would recommend to all of my friends! read more

Great service, fast and efficient. I was totally impressed when the technician was able to come out after business hours to evaluate my heating unit. I was in the middle of selling my town home, so I needed service ASAP. I explained my situation and they were able to do same day service. He evaluated the problem and after going and picking up the new part, fixed it the next day. I couldn't be more impressed with the service and efficiency. read more

Once the technician, Alex, was there, my air conditioning problem was resolved in 20 minutes. I am very happy. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that it was very difficult to get in touch with them. It seems they are very busy but perhaps they need more help in handling the office and customer service as their service work is great. Once I did reach someone they were awesome. I have recommended them to my neighbors. read more
