Aerex sent someone promptly after I reached out about an issue with mites in my bathroom. Darren came on time, and was so patient answering my questions, and he explained things well. He is very professional so that I am comfortable having him in my home. Aerex is a great company! I have used them for many years for regular exterior prevention, and interior issues if any arise, and they always seem to hire the nicest people. read more

Aerex was recommended to our family by one of their existing customers when we discovered small ants in our home for the very first time. Not knowing who to turn to we reached out and asked others for recommendations as to who to contact. We were fortunate to have learned of Aerex. They quickly came out and eliminated our problem. Since that time, we have continued to use them on an ongoing basis to prevent future problems - and have been doing so now for approximately eight or nine years. We strongly recommend them for their professionalism, knowledge, responsiveness, and thoroughness. In fact, we appreciate them so much, that when it came to mosquito abatement, we looked to them to help prevent problems. We couldn't be more pleased with them or with their technician, Tony, who has been providing us exceptional service since we first began with them. read more

Steve was very courteous and observed all social distancing protocols. He explained what he was doing at all times. He made sure that the materials used did not damage our home in any way. I am very pleased to have him once again in my home. read more

I have been using Aerex for years. I originally called in Aerex because of a fruit fly infestation. They took care of that promptly, after which I went on a semi-annual maintenance program (2 annual indoor sprays and 2 annual exterior foundation sprays). It's been about 18 years and I've had no problems since. The Aerex technicians are uniformly good, but lately my place has been attended to by Darren, who is very prompt, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and respectful of my home. I recommend Aerex without reservation. read more

This place SUCKS !! They lazy they apply what should work is their downfall. When u call them back to redo what they already did they charge you. And it doesn't work anyway. Go elsewhere or do it yourself. Get Raid. It kills ants and this company can't even kill ants. It's just the facts JACK. read more

Our family couldn't be more impressed with Aerex! After moving to a home on the fox river over the summer, we knew we would be facing more pests than we were used to. We made the call after we noticed an ant problem in our kitchen. After the first spray and bait drop, we have not had a problem with any pests since. Not to mention both technicians that have come into our home have been top notch professionals, very courteous and friendly. This morning our technician was Rob, and he was great. Highly recommend this business! read more

A friend of mine used Aerex and said they were great. I called to have them come out to our house and take a look but instead they spent 10 minutes with me on the phone askign questions, advised me to try some things on my own and then call back if I still needed them. read more

used them for years. Wally was great. then last visit he was missing the traps needed to fix a moth issue. was going to bring them back but didn't. when I called to follow up the person who answered the phone said I would have to be charged for an appt to drop off of the traps. just ordered them on amazon. feel badly because Wally is a great guy but their office staff just lost him a customer. read more

Excellent customer service, with Hugo who is very professional and knowledgeable as well as customer friendly. This type of service is hard to find. Aerex is lucky to have techs like Hugo. read more

Mark was very pleasant and did his best to rid me of a nasty moth infestation. Hopefully, they are now gone. Thanks, Mark.

I talked to Rod who was very helpful and explained everything Terminix could not. Instead of $600, Aerex was $100. He did not push and when I asked him about alternatives, he was very helpful. He explained the treatment was pet friendly, The only reason I did not award 5 stars was because I am trying to take care of this myself since it seems to be confined to one room and he never actually did any work at my home. Thanks Rod for being so professional and treating me the way I treated my customers when they called for my help. read more

We have had them out here 3x for ants in the last few weeks. They charge us an extra fee to come out and told us wait a couple of days. After a week, still ants. They send someone else. Same result. Then when we called they told us we'd have to wait another week. This is a month of ants on our coffee table, dining room table, kitchen - and not by food sources mostly, just random. We have house guests coming and dinner Monday and Tuesday and when I called today their scheduler blamed the ants, 'They've been bad this year'. We had their service for years and they didn't offer any solution other than that we'd have to continue to live with ants - for a month now. Isn't that why we have this service? I told the scheduler we were canceling our contract and she switched from her slightly condescending mode to her 'I don't give a shit' mode. Not what I want in terms of customer service. I'm on my way to the hardware store and will solve the problem myself. read more

This is a company that doesn't back their product as advertised. They were very good at getting out to do the spraying. Since they guarantee their product and we were still having bee/wasp problem, we called back. They sent a person out again, after the response of 'bees can be anywhere.' Ok... After we still had a problem with bees/wasps, they didn't call back after our call. Therefore, I can't recommend this service. read more

Awful customer service. We've just them for a few years but we've had more spiders, ants and flies than I can every remember. They don't try to help with the solution. Their attitude is "sucks for you" and "too bad" and "it is what it is". I don't believe that. My contract is up in November and I will not be renewing. Don't waste your money here. read more

We have been using Aerex for years and always very pleased with their service and prices. Our tech, Hugo, is very thorough and makes a point of showing us where critters are getting in and what to do to eliminate those areas -- which is much appreciated. read more

horrible experience. first time was fine. second and third occasions the exterminator came in and sloppily sprayed all over the place. told him i had a child with a heart condition and needed him to be cautious not to spray near toys (i had moved everything out of the way prior to his arrival). he was sloppy, fast and careless. third time they came, same story. it had rained that day so he couldn't spray outdoors. he said he'd come back the next day. never showed up. called aerex and no call back. called again, spoke to a representative who said she'd look into it and call me back. never returned my call. don't use these people or waste your money. there are enough other, better, options out there. read more

After another company came to inspect our home, I was informed that the type of beetle we had needed months of treatments and sprays. This also meant a tremendous expense, and chemicals near kids and pets. I just could not beleive the severity of this problem, and was told about Aerex. The minute I called I knew I was in good hands. They let me e-mail the specimin for an initial review to calm my nerves. They even sent it to a consultant at the local university for review. In the end, they quickly found the exact bug which was harmless, and didnt even need tratment!! After days of communication, I ofered to pay for the valuble time and information they provided. They refused, and just asked to be considered if there were any other needs in the future. This is such a rare response these days, and so greatly appreciated. As an architect and landlord, it is my job to ensure that my clients and tennants are feeling secure in their homes. I am so relieved to finally have a trusted source to call and reccomend in the future. read more

I can't understand all the 5 star reviews here unless friends and family are writing them. After 18 months in my apartment in Chicago, I noticed bedbugs. Called the landlord and he sent Aerex. The exterminator, Mark, came out and said I had too much stuff in the bedroom so he couldn't spray. Next day, I moved a lot of stuff to a storage unit and called for Aerex to send someone out to spray. A young guy arrived, showed me the canister he was going to use on the bed and surrounding area, and he container of a powder he was going to use around the periphery. He closed the bedroom door behind him, coughed and sneezed for about 10 minutes and then came out, closing the door behind him again. He said he was done. I was told not to go into the bedroom for at least 2 hours. I asked how long the bed would be wet from the liquid he allegedly used and he said again, 2 hours. When I went in, nothing had been moved, the bed was not touched at all, and after dark I was again in there myself killing bedbugs. I had bedbugs six years ago in a different apartment and I know what they are supposed to do but this man did not spray the darn bed which is the point of the whole process! 5 days later, still crawling. My landlord assures me that the company says they did a thorough job. Of course they would say that. Anyway, they're sending someone out again next week, and the landlord says I should just go buy a new bed. I'm disabled and have a hospital bed barely a year old so that is not a great thing to tell me. I was also told by the first guy who came here that this building (half condo, half rental units) had been sprayed by them in the past, and the roaches, too. I'm retired, low income, disabled and I can't stay here. When I moved out of the other apartment about 5 years ago, I had been hospitalized 7 times in 10 months because the neighbors were trying to handle the problem themselves. I have since lived without bedbugs or roaches since moving in 2012. I had to get rid of almost everything I owned to make sure of that! I hope they come out and actually do the job. Landlord chose the company as he has to pay for their services. PS . The woman who answers the phone for Aerex (Jennifer?) is incredibly rude and kept having me repeat my name, address, problem, etc. She talked to me as if I were he most ignorant person she'd ever come across. Who needs that? I will say that the best company I know of who did a good job before I moved out of that first apartment is called Ecotech. It took them more than an hour (same size apt.), they were courteous and very knowledgeable. If I had the money, I would call Ecotech myself. read more
