Worst experience I've had with a shop in a long time…read more I went out of my way to be as transparent and easy to work with as possible. I sent them a detailed message explaining EXACTLY what I wanted done to my Mustang -- full exhaust setup, how I wanted it mounted, clamps, O2 bungs, everything. I literally did their job for them and made it easy. All I asked for was a rough price range before driving OVER AN HOUR to their shop. Not an exact quote. Just a simple "around this much depending on fabrication." Any decent shop can give a ballpark estimate. Instead, they ignored most of my message, barely communicated, wouldn't answer straight, and kept pushing me to drive all the way over there just for them to look at the car for 10 minutes. I called multiple times and it felt like they genuinely did not care about wasting my time. Then they acted like what I was asking was unreasonable and basically said no shop in Arizona would do what I wanted. Funny enough, less than 10 minutes later I found another shop that actually knows how to communicate, gave me a price, and scheduled me immediately. What made it even worse was seeing them joke on Instagram stories about "if you're not a good customer we don't want to work with you." Meanwhile I was being EXTREMELY clear, respectful, transparent, and serious about spending over $1,000 with them. So if THIS is how they treat someone trying their best to be a straightforward customer, imagine how they'll treat everyone else. Communication was trash, customer service was trash, and they lost themselves an easy customer because of their ego.

I had failed the emissions test with a P0420 code, which usually means the catalytic converter needs replacing. I went to several VVRP-authorized auto shops for quotes, and all of them told me I'd need to leave my car for 2-3 days, with repair estimates ranging from $2,500-$4,500. The problem? My car is only worth about $2,000! Rosco turned out to be a lifesaver. Using his diagnostic tools, he determined it was only a sensor issue. The part cost just $100, and he replaced it in about 5 minutes. After driving 75 miles on the highway, my car passed the emissions test without any problem.
