Bernie (the owner) agreed to upholster our boat. We dropped it off on September 17, 2014 and paid…read morehim 50% of the cost so he could buy the materials. Cashing the check was the last work he did on the job. He kept the boat for weeks without touching it, then told us he was busy and to bring it back in January and he would finish it. He then came up with excuses until March. We finally nailed down a day with Bernie to drop it off at his house (where he now does the upholstery). When we got there we learned that he had moved. He left no forwarding information and won't respond when we try to contact him. He is not honest and should be avoided at all costs. We are pursuing legal action against him.

Took my jet boat in to have the seats etc re-upholstered. Was told the cost and timeline.
