They came out to do a repair on the leather seat in my truck through a warranty I got from the dealership I bought my truck at. It looked like they just slapped some glue on it and dried it. They admitted it looked worse after they repaired it than before. When I asked the repair guy about it he said that they start with that kind of "repair" first. Then if it doesn't hold up the company will send them back out to replace the fabric. I told him I was going to call thr warranty company immediately after he left because that was unacceptable and that the fabric needs to be replaced. He said if I have that type of coverage then they can do that. Huh? If you have a repair done through a warranty it should be repaired like new. Also, you should know what is covered before you get here. I could have done thr repair he did myself. I'm sure they just wanted to get in and out quick since they knew they would be paid regardless through the warranty company. I called the warranty company and sent them pics of the repair. They assigned a new repair company to come fix it without any questions. read more

I have an expensive leather chair and ottoman I bought from Crate & Barrel about ten years ago-- my husband sits in it nightly and daily use and time have taken a toll. I emailed Fibernew with photos of the damage for an estimate and they promptly sent back a detailed breakdown of the different repairs/refurbishments the furniture would need; it was a complicated project because this chair is tufted, plus it's a custom purple color not commonly found, and after daily use it was cracking in places, the cushions were stained, it just wasn't in great shape. The bid was expensive but not unrealistic for a quality refurbishment, and since Crate & Barrel still sells this chair/ottoman combo for more than $4,000, it seemed worth it to invest in its longevity. It took about ten days from when the (friendly, efficient and prompt) team came to take the furniture to their facility to when they had it ready for drop off, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this finished chair. It literally looks new. The cleaning, the coloring, the re-stuffing of the cushions... everything about it is stellar. I'm shocked-- I had high expectations, but this is way above what I had even hoped. If you have a piece of complicated high end leather furniture and you're looking for someone who can bring it back to life, Fibernew is who you need. I'm thrilled I know about them now-- this definitely won't be the last piece of furniture I entrust to their professional care! read more

This company charged $230 to clean my white vinyl loveseat and repair a small hole in the cushion. They told me that I needed a new foam insert for the cushion to protect my investment, but after multiple requests on my part, never sent me a quote like promised. Sure enough, it cracked again 2 and half weeks later. I brought it to an upholstery place for an opinion - one that offers cleaning, repair and/or upholsters They told me that the cushion vinyl was way too old and too dry to hold up any longer from the stress of people sitting on it - that repair was not a viable option - but that they could make a new matching cushion for $190. Now the loveseat looks like new. But what a waste of the $230 I paid to Fibrenew Mesa. read more

Great Service these days seems to be somewhat of a curious anachronism. Though Covid has obviously taken its toll on a staff's ongoing challenge to acquire and maintain quality team-members, an excellent management team can still net a positive result. That said John and his wife Judy (Owners/Operators - Fibrenew Mesa) are doing just that. I contacted the Mesa Chamber of Commerce to get a referral for an auto upholstery company and was given their name. Frankly, as a super picky car guy, I think finding any service based company that is great over the phone, arrives at the time and communicates effectively is almost impossible to find. But frankly, form the first time Judy picked up the phone, she was easy to talk to and one can tell that they are smart enough to realize who pays their paycheck... the customer. With outstandingly courtesy and professionalism, Judy kindly set up a time for John to come to my home and look at an upholstery job for my kitchen chairs and my truck. On the day of the estimate, John was not only early, but professional in appearance, and in a clearly marked vehicle for identification purposes - which adds to the safety part of the presentation. Frankly, after getting my job delivered in a timely fashion and being completely happy with the results, I would absolutely recommend you call them before having any upholstery job done. They are a franchise which equates to accountability and training most ma and pa type small businesses do not have access to. Fibrenew ironically is also the only company my seat cover company out of Texas recommends nationwide and I did not know about this until the job was done. Bottom line, call Judy and give them a chance to earn your business. I'm absolutely confident you will pleased that you took that action. Called Fibrenew set up an appointment for 7/30/18 between 10 - 1030 am. A tech called on 7/26 to confirm our appointment. on 7/30 we waited until 1100 than called the tech left message. We had no response. Then we texted the owner Mr Burton and told him we were still waiting for his man to come. He said he would get back to me with information about the delay. Dealt with Duane and would never bring anything here again, they are crooks! Brought in my dining room chair that had a leg break off, not even a day went by and said he couldn't find that size leg anywhere and said they glued it on and put new screws in it. When I went to pick it up there was a stain on the leather top that was from them sitting it upside down on someone else's furniture, probably while the glue was drying. He tried to lie to me and say it was on there when it came in, then said it was coming through the white leather, then to admitting he didn't see it on there before. He said they would paint it to cover up the print and when I went to pick it up he charged me $75!! For glue and 2 screws? He said "yes and an hour of labor". Had to pay because he wouldn't give me my chair back if I didn't. The black stain on the white leather is also still visible. He told me a story about another upset customer when I dropped it off that he also screwed over, please save yourself time and stress and keep searching for better services. read more
