We have been ADT customers for over two years, and our experience has been extremely frustrating…read more After moving into our new home, we purchased a significant amount of equipment,much of which has been consistently defective. We were told service calls would be free for a period of time, but that was not honored. We have been charged repeatedly for service visits. More recently, we noticed double charges on our monthly bill. When my husband called to address it, he was told very rudely that because of an issue with our equipment, they "manually" processed something and charged us twice. That is not an acceptable business practice. You cannot just double charge customers without clear authorization or explanation. To make matters worse, instead of resolving the issue, we were redirected to another company regarding app-related equipment. The lack of accountability and customer service is concerning. We are current customers and are now actively looking for other options. We expected reliability and professionalism from a security company,unfortunately, ADT has not delivered either

Moving to new house and want to cancel service- service we had for 34 yrs!- horrible customer…read moreservice- they tell you what you want to hear then put you through many different assistants and nothing gets confirmed or done- now I'm paying extra because they do not acknowledge the phone call for cancellation and reroute me to different people because the issue is not what they deal with adt- OWN it - this is why we are going to ring camera- adt cares about money coming in and does not put customer concern first
