We hired this service last January to rat proof our homes and set traps. Because we had four homes that signed a contract, they verbally agreed to check our traps weekly (monthly for each home, but on different days) to ensure the rodents would not deteriorate next to our home and the traps would be freed up to catch more rodents. They also agreed to use no poison. It was a rough start - they did a crappy job filling the holes around our home. I had to close my business to come home and work with them to get the job done correctly. At that point, Claudio was assigned to our account. Heric was supposed to be our technician, but abandoned us early on. Claudio was amazing, was there weekly, never sprayed poison and worked with us to get the job done. Then he left. Since then, we had one temp guy come out six weeks ago, did not check traps and sprayed poison at one home. We tried to call the temp guy to find out where the poison was sprayed, he answered the phone and told me I had the wrong number. Excellent customer service - NOT!! The new regular guy "Arturo" came five weeks ago and then called and said he would not be servicing our account weekly and possibly not at all. I called the office, thought it was straightened out, but no one has returned since. The dead rats are attracting bugs and the traps may be full (who knows - they have the key) - not allowing for catching of new intruders. It's been over a month and nothing. And to think I was going to have all 28 of our units call them. So glad I didn't. They talk a good talk, but do not follow through. No wonder Claudio left - not a good company at all. read more

I wasn't a believer of pest control but now I am! Our service technician is Aaron Green and we have worked with him for several years. Aaron is very courteous, easy to work with, informative and coordinate his schedules with you. We have seen a definite decrease in pests in and out of our homes. What is also nice is Advanced IPM's breadth-they deal with insects and animals and also do gopher control and live trappings. We hope we don't need to do live trappings but if we need it, we know who to call. Very pleased with the inspection, which identified where vermin was emerging the house. They closed up all the holes. The traps worked, and my service contract has also allowed them to deal with an any issue when ants were trying to migrate into our home. Hi, this is an update from last time (the no show in my previous review). I got a call from them and someone did come out to inspect my place. Shortly after some inspection, the inspector claimed to find some "bed bug casings". Did not show it to me, nor did not urge me to come closer. The whole thing was very hastily done. I thought about the possibility that this company might be dishonest to try to get me to buy a service, because the inspection was free. So two days later, I ordered inspection from another company, a paid inspection (the inspector was paid by the hour, not by commission like the other inspector might have been). He did a really thorough inspection and guaranteed that there was no bed bugs. He took the time to explain to me why that is and he checked many areas of my room with patience and thoroughness. This business is not only unprofessional, but also dishonest. Consumers need to know about this kind of behavior and be wary. Always take pictures of the "evidence" inspectors find! What might have costed me 12-1400 dollars only costed me 200 dollars. read more

I waited about a week before giving this review for the service I received. I had been fighting with ants for several weeks and finally just got fed up. They were in the walls and no matter what I did, they would find another entry into my kitchen. I put in a request for an estimate and Advanced IPM responded quickly. Had Arturo come out to do an estimate, and then was able to come right back just a couple days later to spray for me. He was incredibly polite, answered all my questions and did not hesitate to wear shoe covers when asked. He was professional and considerate. I have to say, the results were immediate. I saw results the very next day. I've kept an eye out, but NO MORE ANTS!! I could not be more pleased. Bot inside and outside were sprayed and is pet/kid friendly. No harsh smell, no funky residue. Amazed by their honesty and generosity. It's hard to find very honest vendors in bay area (everyone has a minimum charge for just pulling up the truck) But Advanced IPM is an exception. Eber visited my home a few days back for a Squirrel problem and he spent a good amount of time doing the analysis of what could be the problem. He clearly pointed to me that the problem and suggested a very simple no cost solution. He explained to me the issue in detail and after I implemented his suggestion the problem was solved. This company is extremely unprofessional. I booked an appointment with an inspector on a specific day during a specific blocked off time. No one showed up nor did anyone call me to reschedule or apologize. I called them up 1 45pm (the appointment was from 12 to 2pm) asking them what's going on. They said that they would confirm my appointment and get back to me. But no one ever did after my call either. I wasted 2 hours waiting for them without any apologies or remedies. He was moved to a different route so I ended up with a new person the last couple quarters and this past quarter the new person was dishonest & said he gave service when I never even spoke to him. She was very kind & understanding after I told her that it was not and she told me she would reach out to the supervisor. Every morning I was hearing the sounds of little feet racing around in our attic. I was very happy with some work Advanced IPM had done for me once before, so I called them to check out the problem. They responded promptly and found a broken screen that was likely an access point for roof rats. Aurelio was able to rescreen the opening, even though it was in a confined space and difficult to access. He set traps and monitored them for 3 weeks. Problem solved, no more rat races in the attic! I was very pleased with the work Aurelio did. He always called ahead and arrived on time. He was neat, respectful of our home, and worked quickly and professionally. Unfortunately their inability to follow simple directions has become dangerous to our household. Each of the last three times they've visited we've directly instructed the agents to close the gates because of our dogs and EACH time they left it open. Dog owners, please do not use them!!
