Just moved to the area and will be finding a new derm. Having a family history of melanoma I go for annual skin checks and my previous derm was very thourough, inspecting every inch of my skin and scalp, using a light and magnifying glass to look at smaller blemishes, taking photographs for tracking moles, etc. they also completed a biopsy on a spot on my scalp last year. Having provided my family history, my biopsy history and the fact that I have notably fair complexion , I would expect a derm to at least take a close look at my skin. This doctor took MAYBE 1 min to look over my entire body, not inspecting a single mole, and proclaimed my skin to be perfect. I will now have to schedule with a new dermatologist and be out another $40 copay. If you have skin cancer concerns absolutely avoid this practice and Dr. Hassani read more

This place is very unpleasant. The receptionists are snippy and rude. Appointments are booked months out, even for established patients with urgent problems. And forget about seeing a "doctor" here. No matter how badly you beg to see a real doctor, or how severe your issue is, you will always see a Physician's Assistant instead, who they will swear is just as good as a doctor, but isn't. Insurance is another tricky matter here. No matter what type of full coverage you have, this place will inevitably find something extra to charge you for - at every visit - that "is not covered". And they insist that patients buy over-the-counter creams and soaps directly from them at a whopping four to five times what it costs at the store. It's bad enough that they overcharge patients to see unskilled paraprofessionals, but then they nickel-and-dime them by peddling overpriced retail items. I bought a small tube of cream from them for $22, when a pharmacist at Walmart informed me that I could have picked that same cream off the shelf there for $3.97. After several visits where my conditions were routinely being misdiagnosed, I finally stopped coming here and sought out a real dermatologist elsewhere. I gave this place 1 extra star because their waiting room is spacious and allows for proper social distancing. read more

PA George Marchacos was thorough, efficient and engaged my teenager educating us with a drawing and approach that captivated our attention. Delina and the front office staff were kind, compassionate and prompt with their time management. The office was clean and inviting, nicely decorated. If it was possible to give one star I would. Not for the Dr but for his employee that answers the phone and makes the appointment. She was so rude and condescending I decided not to move forward with scheduling the appointment. Her need to know exactly what my insurance was infuriating- I explained I have an HSA so if they don't take my insurance I will pay out of pocket - I have a fantastic dermatologist in NJ but thought I would give one a try near home. From the front desk to Judi Schachte's assistant, I was made to feel very comfortable. Judi Schachte is a PA specializing in dermatology. She is thorough. She is detailed. She is clear about what she finds. I never went to dermatologist before and wasn't looking forward to going but I knew I had to see someone. I was a tiny bit worried that she didn't have MD after her name (I spent 30 years in nursing and never went to a P.A.) but I saw that in her case it didn't matter at all. Absolutely fine! In the midst of a pandemic the staff was efficient and courteous. I was seen on time; the nurse explained the little procedure to me. when Kurt Schroder came in, he exuded warmth and skill, as well as efficiency. His offices are modern and clean, staff is very nice and I can usually get an appointment without too much of a wait. I seen Allison Kortz and she was very nice; as was her assistant. She did a full body exam and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all! She went over a lot of information so I was happy that her assistant was there taking notes and gave me a print out of everything we discussed to take home with me. I have been a patient of Dr. Kircher for many years. He is professional and puts you at ease the moment he walks through the door. He doesn't rush you and is always willing to answer questions or address any concerns you may have. I tried to make an appointment here, the receptionist was frustrating to talk to, did things like put me on hold without asking, wasn't listening to me when I gave my info, so I kept having to repeat myself - but they were small issues until the end of the call. She finished by saying she would mail me all of my new patient paperwork. I asked her to email it, as I do everything paperless, and mail is unreliable anyway. She said they couldn't email it. I said if I couldn't get the paperwork digitally, I'd have to cancel the appointment, her reply was "ok, you can come in reaaallly early to fill it out, or get it off the website." I said "wait, you have it online - so I can just email it back?" "No, you have to print it and bring it in with you." "Ok, but you're going to enter all of the information into a computer though, right?" "Yes." "This isn't making sense. Why can't I just email it and save the paper? It's irresponsible to not try to cut down on paper use in this day and age." "We don't have an email in this office." "What? Ok, do you understand my frustration at all?"
