I have been going to Catskill Dermatology for over 10 years. Over the summer my son had a "pimple" of some kind on his thigh, I brought him to the pediatrician, she looked at it, squeezed it a bit, felt it and then said "he should be fine, he's on week 2 of antibiotics for lyme disease so it should knock that out". The next day, the redness and size doubled, I called the pediatricians office, sent them a picture and they said it was probably because of the doctor poking and prodding the day before. As a mother, I was not comfortable with this. I called Catskill dermatology and explained it all to them, they scheduled an appt for me that evening. When my son and I were seen by Dr. Fishman and the Nurse, the amount of detailed questioning that they asked was endless. They biopsied the cyst and followed up daily to see how he was doing and to monitor the growth of the rash until the culture results came back. Turns out the Lyme antibiotics DID NOT work on this contagious infection my son developed and a different antibiotic was prescribed which began working within 12 hours. Their concern for my sons well being was genuine and heartwarming, I'm so glad I decided to trust my instincts and call Catskill dermatology!! read more

I'm not usually to write reviews and this is strictly in reference to how these so called billers/managers do their billing. I have a high deductible plan, so on top of the deductible that gets applied they assess a $25 surcharge to the office visit which I am pretty sure is against all commercial insurance guidelines/illegal practice. There's no reason for your office to assess a surcharge to my account unless my insurance company determined that. Insurance tells you what to bill a patient, you don't determine that on your own. You may get audited, and if this is what you are practicing I am pretty sure you will! If you aren't doing well as a practice, overcharging patients is not the LEGAL way to go. I suggest you send your staff to attend a course on what not to do legally in a medical practice and its' billing. Stay away. Definitely won't be back here! As far as the medical treatment, I would rate it average. The dr seems nice but I felt rushed, the treatment I was given was acne cream samples and no prescriptions. read more

Few weeks back I visited my aunt's place, Goshen, NY, and she noticed some pimples growing on my face, they were in early stage. My aunt took me to Catskill Dermatology PC, where we met Dr. Steven. I have had prior experience of dermatology clinics, where doctors never come on time, but here the doctor was on time. He analyzed my skin issue and suggested medication, which suited me well. Dr. Steven is a friendly doctor. He is skilled and knowledgeable as well. I have seen doctors not spending much time on one patient, but Dr. Steven gave enough time to me. Face is the biggest concerns for all, especially for girls like me, who take extra care of their skin and face. I had a good experience at Catskill Dermatology PC, a clean and well managed clinic. I'm visiting the area from the Philippines and started to have a problem with my face & legs, my sister who lives here recommended I go here. It was a Friday and they were already closed so they got me in for the next available date which was Monday and told me how to take care of the issue over the weekend until I came in to see them, which was very helpful. I saw the physicians assistant Zach and was given some samples and a prescription, he knew right away what was going on. the appointment was really quick. I've been using the prescription and after almost a week its practically gone. since I'm from out of the country he made sure if I needed to fill my prescription it would be something inexpensive. read more

My 3 boys were seen by Zack Linden for a very stubborn skin issue that they were all sharing for the past 3 years. I have been to other dermatologists numerous times and they were never able to resolve the problem. My boys saw Zachary and in just one visit he healed up my boys skin problem with the procedures he performed. He listened to our concerns and was very knowledge and compassionate to my boys needs. Few weeks back, when I was in Godhen I visited this clinic. My face was showing some rashes, so it became a matter of concern. I visited Catskill Dermatology and consulted the doctor. The doctore I met was Dr.Fishman, he analyzed my skin and the rashes. He also told me possible reasons of why rashes came up to my skin. Some kind of allergy it was. This was the first time I has some skin issue and was not at my place. Goshen is a small place, and one of my friend suggested about Catskill Dermatology. When I moved here more than a decade ago, a neighbor recommended Zach to me. He has been my dermatologist ever since. My husband and children see him on occasion as well. No one wants to have a skin issue, but they do arise & Zach takes care of the problems quickly & efficiently. I grew up worshiping the sun & my fair skin now needs to be watched for problems/issues caused by the sun. Zach knows exactly what to look for, and how to handle any abnormalities he finds. Dr Fishman office was clean and the secretary was super friendly. However, I find that you have to book appointment four days in advance to get into a good practice. Dermatology convention and was extremely impressed with his research. I had a bump on my nose that I thought was a pimple. Dr Fishman immediately recognized that it was a skin cancer. He referred me to the Mohs Surgeon and I am grateful. read more

I've been going to Catskill Dermatology for almost a decade now, and I've always had good experiences here. I had acne in my teens and my skin is prone to developing abnormal moles so I generally see Zecharia Lind at least once a year. Office staff are friendly and helpful, the wait times are rarely long, and Zech has always been helpful/knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions. read more

This review is long overdue. Fast and Excellent service and professional staff, with minimal wait time. I've been here twice, both times for acne and have been pleased with the outcomes. I've never been to the office before and I called because I had a really bad rash, I was given an appointment right away. Loved the Staff & the Doctor was were thorough, explained to me what it was that I had and gave me samples. I didn't even need a prescription. The samples helped so much.
