PROS- check in process is efficient, no wait times for scheduled appointments, able to make appointments last minute. Modern and clean rooms, friendly staff. I would like to mention that Ami Dalal PA is a miracle worker! I have struggled with adult acne for over 10 years. I have seen multiple dermatologists, tried ever single treatment available both prescription and OTC, nothing worked and no doctors really cared to help me. Ami Dalal spent time with me. listened to my concerns, prescribed medications that were effective and made sure to follow up with me. she made excellent recommendations and now I am acne free! I am very pleased with the care provided and would not hesitate to recommend! read more

My family member asked if the doctor she usually sees specializes in hair loss and the person on the phone said that she doesn't so they would schedule her with someone who does. When my family member went she was told by the medical assistant that the doctor would not be able to do any testing or treatment for hair loss but could still look at it. When my family member said she wanted to cancel the appointment the medical assistant said she's confused about why she wouldn't still want to be looked at. She told us that she should just go to her primary care doctor if she actually needs it treated and showed no empathy for the fact that my family member was lied to about the fact that this was a specialist who could help and had her time wasted. read more

My son had several appointments with the PA. She froze a wart which turn into a 2 inch blood blister and severe pain. He had to go to the emergency room and pediatrician for two days after. We called the office three times that day never to receive a phone call back. Not impressed with the last 2 PAs we have seen there and left the practice. read more

Stay away from schweiger dermatology. They are not patient friendly. You cannot speak to a human being and when I used all their message options to say I thought the site of my surgery was infected, I only got a text back ten days later. When I finally got in, they took a swab and sent it to the lab. It is now almost two weeks later and I still haven't been notified of the results. This was in Monroe. My husband had a similar experience at the Middletown office a few years ago. read more

doctors don't listen to their patient. Lies about getting a call back when the office will be closed... transferred calls to people who are too busy to answer a phone call.... hours in total on hold... "messages sent" that dont help the patient... incompetence all up and down the line.. quickest cancer screening i my life. Not at all through...... still waiting on an rx that I should have been given the 21st at my appointment... horrible experience..no introduction of 2 others in the room.... 0 stars if possible...on hold with them,,, again... and someone gets on the phone saying they were trying to call me and i didnt answer... um I'm on HOLD...... incompetence And today I learn they finally called in my perscription for a product that is now OTC, not covered by my insurance, and the OTC is a stronger formula. unreal. *****NEVER AGAIN***** read more

the wait between appts is terrible. three months to see the Dr and never got to ask all the questions. had a paper with my questions that were ignored. Went to someone else and he answered all my questions plus gave meds for itchy scalp , cancer in two spots. have to wait for several weeks for surgery. read more

Terrible 'bed-side manner' of Dr Parisi and the PA and the assistant in the room during my first appt for a full body check. But worse, the check was not at all thorough! How could it be in, no lie, 12 minutes?! And, if you are wondering why medical care has gotten so expensive here are two of many reasons: They use a third party call-center to make all appointments. One cannot make an appointment with the office directly. This is no different than off-shoring call centers to India!! And secondly, they use yet another outside party for billing; I had to call an unknown entity on my credit card (Millenial in Carthage, NC!!) to learn what/who this is to learn this is who charged my credit card for the visit! Horrible medical practice, will not return!! read more

Felt dismissed and annoyed by the man that checked us in the room and asked questions before Dr came in. Then Dr comes in w that same man and another person. Never asked if it's ok the other person is present. 3 people in the room Really? Also Dr never even really looked close up at my sons dads or back. Just didn't really take the time and felt like a number. Really came off as full of themselves. Disappointing. read more

The doctor was in the exam room for maybe five minutes. Basically, charged my insurance company for every billing code possible (around $900, with no labs). After the bill was paid in full, I was charged an additional amount (almost 6 months after the visit). Called my insurance company and they explained it had to do with the fact I am a PA resident. read more

These people do not have your best interest! Its all about them sending you off to someone else while charging your insurance! Won't even help with sending you for labs just to ensure everything is ruled out. I called another doctor (not an allergist or a dermatologist) and he didn't hesitate! Schweiger, on the other hand messaged me a list of symptoms and a "call an allergist" to schedule an appointment. They did nothing for me, the 2 times I visited this place, absolutely nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! Shame on you all! read more

Absolute terrible CALL CENTER. Can never get important messages through to the dr or office itself. Very frustrating to say the least.

Great practice! Efficient, caring and knowledgeable. There is practically no wait to be seen the level of care is excellent.I have referred both family and friends. read more

I had been a long time patient of Dermatology Associates which is now Schweiger. I was disappointed to hear that my long time physician there had retired. I made an appt with another doctor because I always loved this group, hoping nothing had changed. I had my appt with a different doctor. The appt was not the same as my original doctor - I felt rushed and not feeling I had a thorough exam. I then tried to reschedule another visit because I realized there were some issues I had not addressed. Due to insurance reasons I was told I had to wait 10 days but they fit me in after the 10 days and I was appreciative. Then I got a call a couple of days before my appointment being told it was too soon to come back for an appt which had nothing to do with insurance. I relayed that I had further issues I wanted to address but didn't at the last appt. I was told okay. Then the day of the appt I received a call a few hours before my appt telling me that I could not see the doctor and I would have to make an appt in 8 weeks. I explained why I had wanted this appt and that I felt a little rushed but realized I wanted to follow up but the doctor still refused to see me and cancelled my appt. I was shocked to say the least. I never had an experience like this with my original doctor who retired. In fact, he always told me no matter what to give a call if I had any concerns. Even though I had the right to have this appointment, the doctor refused to see me at this time. I have never had such a thing happen to me. To say the least as a long standing patient, I am disappointed and boy do I miss my original doctor who retired. It's funny how you always get a call asking about your recent experience with an office visit or phone call until something does happen and no one reaches out. read more
