I asked the insurance person call me back so I could appeal the insurance company's decision. No return call. Called today (now at the end of January), to be told the Dr may not do Medical botox. And, that the PA had no right to tell me that they would( this was the reason I was referred there). Patty the Office Manager spoke over me and didn't listen, until I pointed this out. Waiting to hear if the Dr will even do the procedure. Not holding out a lot of hope.

Contrarily, at Belissima I was literally the only client in the place. I specifically asked Alicia for Allergan and was talked out of it for one of the cheaper (Dysport?) options. At Luna Dermatology they took time and a lot of photos. The intake at Bellissima Spa was incredibly fast and cursory. They did not offer any cooling cream or an ice pack. I am not a very experienced Botox user, and I had to ask about the restrictions on strenuous exercise and lying down as the info was not offered. I was told that if I was unhappy with the results, I could come by for a free touch-up. No time period was mentioned, this is critical. 2 weeks later, I called and left a message to schedule a touchup. This call went unanswered. A few days later, I called AGAIN and was told that the time limit was two weeks. It seems that my initial message was intentionally ignored. I was also told by the receptionist that there is absolutely no difference in the Botox brands, which is categorically UNTRUE, and why was a receptionist dispensing medical advice? So Belissima Spa was happy to take over $600 from me without honoring their promise to ensure that I was satisfied. As this is a completely voluntary cosmetic appointment, customer service to ensure satisfaction seems incredibly important to maintain a successful practice. Seeing the lack of clients in the office, I implore Belissima to take this aspect of their business more seriously.
