My personal physician worrying about a skin cancer recommended that I see a dermatologist, tried 3 or 4 offices I could see a PA at one in a couple of days, the others were weeks to months to see an MD. Called Hudson Valley Dermatology and could have a doctor check it out the next morning. Dr Phil examined the area and stated it didn't appear to be cancerous. Took a biopsy absolutely no pain he is quite skilled. Many of my friends warned me that procedure is very painful not true. He proscribed medication and in days the ugly spot disappeared . Went in for a cancer screening. The PA seemed thorough but when I asked two questions about concerns I had, she didn't bother to look at me but diagnosed me with what I suggested it might be. I was left with an uneasy feeling and still had symptoms, so I followed up with a different dermatologist group who performed tests, and I got a much different diagnosis, as well as treatment. read more

I waited in Kingston office after a Mohs surgery 4 hours to be stitched up for one thing. Secondly. I received a rude letter in the mail on June 7 2025. Dated 3 and 1/2 weeks ago signed by " Stephanie S". ( didn't have the courtesy to put her last name) stating it was urgent I call the office regarding a biopsy done OCTOBER 24 2023. And attached was a " refusal of Consent for Treatment " form partially filled out with my name and information on it! I have constant problems getting correct information in billing or correct medication and I have to spend days trying to straighten it out. I went for a treatment and asked ahead for the office to check it through my insurance for cost and was told $50. They tacked on another $70+ because they said that was part of the treatment putting medication in my face. If I was told that from the beginning then I would not have had the treatment which did not work (skin cancer light treatment). I also had many issues getting medication called in to my pharmacy and had to make several phone calls about it. The latest issue was my daughter getting a prescription for a 28 day supply medication but they mistakenly wrote it to take over 196 days instead of 28 with refills. It took 3 days of phone calls so far and it's still not straightened out. I have to file complaint with state medical board just to get them to communicate. If the nurses or pa's did their job and paid attention then a lot of this can be prevented. Next time I see the doctor I'm not leaving until all medication sent to my pharmacy and I check with pharmacy before I leave. Just patient neglect and bad service. read more

What a horrible experience! I was very excited to find a new dermatologist and drove 45 minutes for my visit. The office looked promising but the doctor not so much. The doctor walked in and looked completely disinterested. Even took some time to look at herself in the mirror to make sure she looked good. I asked her advice for my very minor acne and without even really looking at my skin she suggested oral medicine. Didn't bother to come close to my face or touch my face. The whole exam was very akward and it seemed like she didn't want to be assisting me. I do not recommend coming to this office. read more

I had to wait 7 WEEKS to get an appointment with a PA. Her nurse assistant was considerate and invested. Then came in OLGA, the much awaited professional? I had the privilege of seeing her for 9 MINUTES. This is a puppy mill for concerned humans. MISS IT. She was Clearly too busy to meet me as a person and to busy to let me ask questions. Offices are immaculate, staff friendly, and the doctor whom I saw doubtless competent. However, on the three occasions that I've visited, I've waited between 30 and 45 minutes, and, if a subsequent contact has to be made to sort a prescription. it is nigh on impossible to reach a live person, and a challenge to resolve the issue read more

Belotero did not work for my dark circles AT ALL. I experienced terrible swelling that did not occur previously when I used juvederm. Other than dissolving the filler, I received no compensation for my $600 cost for the filler. I have been a patient with Hudson Dermatology for at least 15 years. I'm very disappointed. I have been to several dermatologist in the Hudson Valley over the past few years. None of which seemed to help nor seemed to genuinely care. I felt hopeless. I heard of Hudson Dermatology from two of my close friends and decided to check it out. I instantly knew I made the right decision. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Reilly has helped me immensely. We were able to make a plan and find a treatment that actually works- finally. Their offices are also very clean and up-kept which is important to me. When you find a great doctor, you follow them whereever they practice. I've been seeing PA Baker for many years. She is always informative, thorough and caring. I was in a lot of pain before my most recent visit and a day away from leaving on a week long vacation. Carolyn Baker made sure to fit me in so I wasn't in agony for my entire trip. I had stress induced hives that spread down my torso and the brilliant PA decided to take a biopsy. The side of my waist was scooped like ice cream and 5 years later I still have a bubbled/dome scar at least an inch in length. I originally went in for acne/PIH on my face which was treated fine the first few months. By the 3rd visit the PA (never able to see an actual doctor like I requested) was frustrated with my progress and wanted to put me on Accutane. My cholesterol is way too high (thank you genetics) to be on Accutane and he told me not to come back until I had a prescription for statins..... for a 23 year old with normal weight. My cardiologist lost his mind when I told him about this and urgently suggested I find a new practice all together. I took that advice and never went back. The entire staff were amazingly warm and I felt instantly comfortable . I am not going to mention names as I would be upset if I left anyone out that I had the pleasure to be under the care of. I had a skin cancer legion on the base of my nose. An area with very little skin to work on. This was not a problem for the surgeons here. There was even a moment that humor was infused to ease me a bit more when I was receiving the worst part, The injecting of anesthesia. I am glad a dear friend recommended them to me. read more

The 2nd time I went to see Dr. Kezis, I trusted him to take a biopsy of an unknown growth, not knowing that he made a 1" in diameter hole in my leg. His nurse phoned me with the results a week later, informing me that removing the remainder of the growth was a waste since it would grow back. That I should live with an open wound on my leg which isn't healing. Funny enough, the photos of the wound that I put on their FB page were hidden as they were TOO GRAPHIC and DISTURBING!!! Yet, it's perfectly okay for me to live like this. I have a lawyer on speed dial. read more

My experience at Hudson Dermatology terrible. My mother was also a patient until recently, her experience also terrible. We will never be back. Support (front desk) staff extremely rude, abrupt manner, clearly do not care. I assumed that my Xeomin appt would be with an actual doctor (which is why I went to a dermatology practice). I arrived and was seen by a physicians' assistant (not even a nurse practitioner). They pulled the same stunt with my mother at her melanoma check. Yes, I really want my face injected by some tech (who did not bother to make a promised follow up phone call and then ignored my own calls). And my mother can have a recurrence of skin cancer because she was seen by an insufficiently trained eye. Absolutely disgusting place, recipe for medical malpractice. Had an appointment at 11:15, wasn't seen until 12:15. When asked why other people who arrived after me were being seen before me, the portly receptionist snapped at me like I was a piece of cheesecake, explaining that there were multiple providers. After an hour in the waiting room that closely resembled purgatory with all other clientele pushing 100 years of age, and a soundtrack that had the latest 1950's hits, I was rushed in and out without having half of my questions answered. I never write reviews but my PA Elizabeth Jaffe could care less about my acne. I've been struggling with acne for years and clearly she doesn't understand how it can affect someone. She didn't even look at my skin, assumed I was on doxy which i haven't taken in about 8 years and then told me to take spirnolactone (which is a diuretic used to treat hypertension). This may work but she didn't even take the time to explain it to me and just said well if you don't want to take a pill there's nothing I can do for you. She came off very cold and condescending, I've been coming here for years and this experience will make me NEVER come back. Dr. Fridlington is amazing. I broke out in an intense rash all over my body. The reception staff were able to fit me in right away and were very sweet. Thankfully my rash went away pretty quickly with the meds that Dr. Fridlington prescribed me. I didn't feel rushed at all and Dr. Fridlington's bedside manner is outstanding. I had my husband make an appointment with her as well. We are both very pleased with this dermatologist office. Highly recommended. read more

Felt so rushed, they left me in the room for 10 before telling me that the doctor was done. Dr. Kezis seemed so annoyed with my questions and didn't seem to care. I was given a phone number to a different doctor and was asked to pay 200$ for a less than 20 min visit. Do not waste your time. read more

So I would now like to edit my review. I think my impatience in waiting for a complete review of my problem before getting a call back led me to a rash review. Dana called me this morning and listed to all my concerns and explained things in much more detail; to find out my skin does not do well with fillers. She is trying to see what the best option for me would be. She very nicely scheduled me for a facial with Nicole this afternoon. Nicole was outgoing knowledgeable and very thorough. I recently took my grandmother here to see the excellent Dr. Ross. While there, she needed to have stitches, which were given to her by the on site plastic surgeon, Dr. Abraham. He was amazing with her. She was extremely nervous, and he genuinely made it a painless and easy experience for her. He was gentle with her verbally and physically, and made her feel like she was in good hands; which she was. now, a little over a week later, her stitches are to be removed. The scar that will remain is so insanely thin, it probably will be impossible to notice. I am not exaggerating; checking up on her and watching her heal has been easy. Her wound was tailored to perfectly by Dr. Abraham's, and it wasn't even swollen and the skin around it was not bruised. She is old and gets scared and struggled with the slightest pain. I am so thankful for Dr. Abraham for making this as easy as possible for both her and myself. He couldn't have been nicer or honestly better at his job. He's the only plastics surgeon I'd go to! read more

I have had two visits at this practice 6 months apart with Dr. Uyttendaele. Both times my experience has been positive. He takes his time, was on time and always answers any questions I have. The staff is courteous and recently returned a phone call the same day I left a message. Very happy with the turn out of our first visit here. I had to take my almost 5 month old here to get a strange bump checked out that keeps growing. Our wait time was maybe only 10-15 minutes and once the nurse got us in the back room it was quick. The first doctor we saw wasn't 100% sure on what the bump could be so he pulled in a different doctor who knows more about younger patients- which i was very happy with.
